This is nothing short of an embarrassment. This hotel not only falls incomprehensibly short of the JW brand, it s basically a run down dump. The room I was given clearly had smokers in it, and it must have been known since when I got to the door, it was held open by its bolt (presumable to air it out like a motel). The place is under construction but doesn t advertise that. It also still advertises a bar and restaurant, which it shouldn t because those are under construction. There is a make shift bar which consists of a conference room and a cooler, where you can order a $7.08 Miller Lite in a bottle while sitting in a weird conference room style chair while watching a wheeled-in TV into the awkward room. Obviously, this conference room doesn t cater to a bar or restaurant atmosphere but does meet the minimum level criteria to say you have a spot that can serve you a drink, similar to a Hampton Inn. There is no bar at which to sit. The mall area it is attached to is closed off. The area has become a ghost town. The building and rooms are dilapidated. This hotel should be burned down. But I will denounce my membership in Marriott for conning me into believing this $300/night low budget hotel has the JW brand. It s Marriott s biggest con.
