Never Take Jetspot. They dont have proper help desk. No customer support and internet is always down. Trust me, You will cry if you take this internet.

Our school has installed jetfiber and the internet network is far better from the earlier network .

Nice Service, Decent customer care. If they can provide Fibre net easily that would be best.

Monthly plans seems to be of ancient age, management should review and update the plans.
In current scenario what most of people like me expect is better/prompt service + High speed plans + NO Unlimited plans to stop bandwidth misuse + greater coverage area.
I was planning to take a connection from jetspot and Okay to pay upto 1500/monthly but it doesn't satisfy any of my above requirements.

All I can say about jetspot is it's may not be the perfect but it's the best ISP I have ever had.

Are you providing service in Bhubaneswar , Kalinga Nagar Area.

Nice service with minimal downtime which is also informed before hand.

Not good for multiplayer gaming, they interrupt connections to Steam and Uplay so you will get higher pings, if you tell this to the customer care they will say they don't take gaming related queries, it is slowly becoming ORTEL 2.0 with frequent disconnections in peak times and Sundays.
PS- I compared Jetspot with Ortel for their frequent disconnections not gaming related query, that they don't know anything about anyway xD.

No one is focussed and serious about customer and profession. You need to call them 100 times to schedule a visit for new connection. No commitments nothing.. Also, you will find one whatsapp number in their portal which is useless. This person will respond based on his mood or else will not respond at all. Also, they dont have any fixed charges for new connection. It depends on how more they can get from customers.

I think it's high time I should write this review. I am surprised to see others not adding enough details in their review. Bit more details would have been really helpful. Regardless, my experience with jetspot is horrible. Though they provide good speed , the latency is very poor, for which I complained many times. They can't deny my claim. Secondly, after Fani devasated Odisha, they should work on war footing to restore their services for their customers.They still haven't restored the connection in my area. It's been 27 days since cyclone, I haven't received any call from their end regarding service restoration. As a customer, I tried to call, whatsapp, fb, tweet and mailed them countless times but for no use. They asked me to have patience but they are taking their sweet little time to restore the service. It amused me how others didn't highlight this unprofessional behaivour. This unethical behaivour is compelling me to switch to other service provider. Hope my review comments will help others in their decision making when they look for a good internet service provider in Bhubaneswar.

Heard a lot good about them so decided to get connection in order to attend my online classes. But had the worst customer service experience, they are not interested in listening to you, for the work which could be done in 5mins they took almost a week that too after calling them multiple times and having to visit them multiple times, they just keep delaying your work and never get it done.

It may be a descent service in patches.

But at the most inopportune times, their side modem, cables, roof top equipment can screw up.

The service won't pick up a request easily for connection drop.

And they may begin by trivial check outs with caller. Invariably their series of 'one-size-fits-all' questions have a temper:

"Did you change laptop?" ....
"Did you pull out the cable?" .....
"Did you disconnect power?" .....
"Did you .....?"
....!##$%^&..
...
"OK sir cable to be checked, we'll send Engineer tomorrow "

If they feel cornered they coach on getting a router or changing your laptop, not their splitter.

For underwhelming response to calls, one gets the extras as spam messages from them bearing zero relevance

I requested an urgent connection and asked for a discount. I got both. Speed is as promised. Service is prompt without any disconnections in a month now. Hoping for the best as I have discontinued BSNL. Be aware that upload speed is not the best.

I was always waiting for service like they made available in Bhubaneswar. In short I will just say it provide the same solution what you get by having a set-up box after facing too much issue by your cable operators. They are very active and I was surprise to see the same speed what they committed which I never expected. My internet has become too fast so no more buffering while I study or work using any pages or video. I recommend citizen who got tired with the dirty services from company like BSNL or Ortel in Bhuaneswar to switch and experience the real internet.

Used to be good with service and quality.
From around 1-2 month, network speed is unstable and everytime it takes around 3-4 hours to solve the issue. I have to keep mailing again and again. But not getting permanent solution.

The best part is he replies and takes immediate actions on the queries and gets it solved. Easy payment and highly worth your each penny. You won't be dissatisfied. Here's an honest review from a 1 year old customer of Jetspot.
I got an connection on october 2019 and i was pretty much satisfied with the speed,ping and negligible packet losses. But with time passing by like 2-3 months, after that jetspot's quality reduced day by day. No doubt they give the speed what they speak about like if you take 50 mbps plan it gives you 49 mpbs or at times 50 mbps. But the problem is the ping and packet loss that this connection has. This clearly shows how unstable this connection is since they have constant 10-15% packet loss at most of the time and a relatively high ping than the mobile internet also. And sometimes atleast 10 times per month their internet will get disconnected and if you enquire them about this, they wont answer you. Rather they will simply reply you that the problem is fixed after they actually fix it by their own. They also incresed the price of the plans by 10% from june 2020 till date which i feel should have decreased instead coz the plans are already pricy if you compare with common isps across India. Before 1-2 years jetspot was actually giving proper internet and service as well. Now they only call you to recharge your existing plan before expiry to continue services. If you call any of their customer numbers, they all remain switched off most of the time.

Another note: In the year 2019 Jio fiber got launched and just on the next day jetspot changed its plans to cope up competition with jio fiber. Yes, the plans were definitely competitive. But as of now September 2020, Jio Fiber changed all of its broadband plans and they are comparitively very much cheaper than jetspot's every plans. I thought jetspot might change their plans as well since it is a direct tough competition against jetspot so i waited a few days. But nothing has changed and hence I changed my connection to jio fiber which is almost 20 times better than what jetspot offer to me. Be it Internet quality, Be it stability, packet loss, ping everything is too much better than Jetspot's services. Here's a Comparison of the plans of both ISPs:-

JioFiber:-
Rs. 399 30mbps 3500GB (virtually unlimited)

Rs. 1499 300mbps 3500GB with 12 OTT including Netflix.
And some other plans which i suppose normal people won't consider to look upon

If you compare both the plans then the Rs.699 plan of jio fiber is already better than the Rs.2750 plan of Jetspot. So this directly shows that Jetspot is totally trash and very expensive for its low quality internet connection. Jio fiber gives free subscription to some popular OTTs and you can watch live tv as well which is available in monthly recharge. You don't need to recharge for 1 year to get OTTs. Just recharge monthly and you get them. Jetspot might say their service is better than Jio Fiber that's why their's cost is higher. But think logically, their numbers dont ring, they don't listen to your problems they blame your router and stuff and they are quite unprofessional. So i don't think paying 5 times more than jio fiber's plans is worth it for taking Jetspot.

My suggestion:
Disconnect Jetspot And Take A JioFiber Connection. You Will Be Surely Satisfied with the service they provide and yes, Jiofiber is much cheaper than Jetspot.

Always bandwidth issue, unstable network, not professional , customer care team is technically not sound , they are just buying time to resolve issues, always asking customer to increase the bandwidth, worst service provider(ISP) in Bhubaneswar.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER TAKE JETSPOT
(MY own experience of fibre connection)

* First of all they took rs6000 for 400 meter fibre wire in which 100 meter should be free... whose actual price should be rs3000.

* They have the worst attitude and behavior when you try to contact them.

* they dont even pick calls from my number. so if i call from other number MAYBE they may pick my call.

*During this lockdown they purposely cut our connection and asked us to pay 800rs or else they won't repar my fibre connection. So i had to pay 800rs extra without any reason! ( i hv recorded the call even)

*cost of fibre wire is rs10/meter. During disconnection they asked me to pay rs5/meter for the vendor who will disconnect the wire! Which means for connection rs6000 and for disconnection rs3000. (I even recorded this call)

*they refused me that i cant pay monthly... they forced me to pay 3 month or 6 months at once. (I have the screenshots of that even)

Trust me if you dont want to face any this kind of trouble then go for some other connection. Owner and staff of this company have attitude problem!

Sick of their customer service and their entire service. Once you take new connection, then Customer service never ever pick up the call at all. You must need to visit their office in Chandrasekharpur for any issue. Whoa, are we living in 1990s???

It's been more than 2months, they are not fixing the Fibre optic connection. They are saying if you want it on priority pay Rs 2000/- otherwise they will take their own sweet time. when I asked what is the ETA, they say they don't have ETA. So I take new connection with additional installation charges of 3000/-, just after 1month connection broken and t hey are asking for 2000/- more.

MORE INTERESTING thing is that they publicized stating that Chandrasekharpur, SailashreeVihar network connection are fixed where we are in Sailashree Vihar but just to give connection to us, they MUST BE PAID 2000. Is it LOOT?? You may think that we might be in some remote location of Sailashree vihar (its funny as it seems) but for information on the NEAR DAV and on SAILASHREE VIHAR ROAD itself :-) What better location one can ask for ??

Hope JETSPOT MANAGEMENT TEAM is EDUCATED and SMART ENOUGH to READ AND UNDERSTAND this review and our frustration and try improving their service drastically.

After checking out all the reviews and the plans I was totally sure about getting the fibre(residential) but unfortunately the place where I live in (Nayapalli) is not under the fibre coverage . I can only request to increase the fibre coverage for now.

I've been using JetSpot for about an year now, and there is nothing much to complain about really. Very less down time and whenever they have a downtime, they send an SMS to inform about it. And about the speed, it almost stays as per your package most of the time. Sometimes it drops during peak hours, but that's fine. It happens everywhere. Overall I'm happy with the service.

Great Customer support, they quickly resolve any issues or queries

Everything is awful about jetspot. Their staff is terrible in dealing with customers and seldom resolve any issues. Their connection transfer charges are more than a fresh connection. Different representatives quote you variable prices for a single service. Their office receptionists are mere trophies who don't do anything.

Jetspot network is the worst customer service in the world. Once you are connected to their network they will ask to pay for 6month or 1 year. Once you do it, they don't care about. They will always try to loot money. Internet (fiber line) is disconnected every day. Speed is not constant.
it's been 30days of cycle past in odisha, still there is no internet connection. Initially, when i call they did not respond. After sometime they close the customer care number. Now i have paid for 6months, i am not able to go to another service provider. So i thought of calling multiple number given in their site but all are closed. This is pathetic. I never recommend this to anyone.

I am forced to change my review from a positive one to a negative one. Their customer support is very bad nowadays. All the numbers they have provided are not receiving my calls. Their whatsapp number is also not active. Their customer support helpline number is also not receiving my calls. Their service number is either unreachable most of the time or switched off. They take payment in time but are not able to deliver the expected service, their service is bad these days. My network is coming and going intermintently since the past 3 days and i dont have any network since last two days and no one is responding from their customer service team. And recently i paid 900/- for a damaged adapter which i think is of very cheap quality. I had utmost respect for jetspot but i guess after their success in Bhubaneswar market, they are very arrogant now. My one request to jetspot is to give 24x7 CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! This is very frustrating as i cannot complete my assignments and work at home due to their bad service and network problems.
A tip for new users:
Their office stays closed on sundays so you cannot make a recharge and activation of your account if its deactivated and neither can you contact their support team.

Ghatia service always buffering no one care about that...... old network service like when you checking in speed test looking good and fast but when you real use then you'll face real ghatiya type network......i don't recomend at all.....jio will teach you...jetspot

Your representative visited my place for the pre-visit Installation queries and informed the charges for the installation will be around 4500/- excluding modem and monthly charges compared to other operators. The amount is far too much for the location like sishuvihar,Patia, backside of ODM public school. The charges for the monthly rental and accessories are affordable but the installation charges is what you have to look into.

Took it based on positive reviews and customer service. But now in these difficult times where we have to work from home, most, if not all ISPs in Bhubaneswar provide higher speeds (>= 100mbps) for around 1100 but Jetspot still provides only 50mbps at that price point. This is where it makes me wonder if I should switch over to other ISPs like Railwire, because speed matters when you are working from home.

The customer service numbers are despicable. Internet services are good. Although I did not need the help of customer services on a lot of occasions but whenever I needed them I could not reach them. Deducting 2 stars for unreachable customer service.

Moreover, it's reliable (unless u someone chops down your cable )

I was using jetspot homelite plan since last 3 years. Service was ok while using wireless connection. Recently changed plan to fiber optic which is socks. Not stable connection at all. Very disappointed. Customer support is not available most of time mostly after 11pm the time i need to talk to my client in USA.

I think jetspot is throttling net because for some time only google sites are accessible and other sites like reddit, quora, steam, github, public repository, 9gag and other sites don't open or loads very slowly.

I had a 3 Mbps Wireless Broadband and I used to pay Rs.1700 approx a month, and after the cyclone the situation got worse. Services should be value for money.

Good service Good Speed. Above all service personnel is just a call away. Easily available. A tad costly I feel.

Good service. Speed as promised. Very few downtime and good customer care. And when ever there is a fibre cut, they resolve it as quickly as possible.

The owner named Soumendra talks as if he is some big hotshot of ISP in India. Talks a lot about service and when you ask more than 2-3 questions he replies very unprofessionally.
His employees are on another level too. Talks as if working for TATA or Reliance ISP. From 3 days we didn't have internet and when i complained they are saying you're home user so no SLA. If you want better service then pay 500 INR for fast service or take leased line.
Moving to Jio Fiber next week.

Speed is good but gets frequently disconnected. If play online games then you will notice it.

so far so good.using since 1 years approx and speed is good. reliability is also fine. i wish charges are a little bit lower though.

But for browsing internet contents. Its faster for Google related services like Facebook, YouTube, Gmail, reddit. But speed sucks for other sites like steam, twitch.tv , etc etc......

Here is some major drawbacks when it comes to online gaming......

Main problem is unstable latency and
PINGS. Pings were never stable always fluctuate like hell...
First matchmaking starting ping was from
72ms to straight 182ms within 5 seconds
And then go back to 88ms and still fluctuate
72ms to 182ms within frequent time limit of 3 seconds making online gaming much worsening than JIO and BSNL connections

Con:- Not recommend for Online Gamers

Yeah Iam using LAN from wan port.
Pls prioritize online gaming network traffic and packets at the routing's gateway's end
Thus, other networks are not time sensitive

Worst company. Never respond properly to customer. Very poor service. They ask you to pay full bill even though net was disable for half of the month.

Very disappointing service, no one attends the call, we have made 3 months subscription, from second month we are having problems with the internet & nobody answering it, better try other vendor or settle with dongles

Good download speed and youtube streaming is nice and not good for other streaming sites. And very bad for online gaming even connected through LAN.

I have been a loyal Jetspot customer since November 2015. Jetspot is the very definition of disruption. Jetspot embodies a revolutionary shift in the paradigms of Bhubenswarian culture where milking the end customer like a powerless cow was the norm.

My experience with Jetspot in the least has brought an EXTREMELY reliable, high-speed internet connection which delivers on its promise 99.997% of times. On those 0.003% days, I am left to be amazed by the flabbergasting Jetspot Customer Service infrastructure and personnel.
Not even once in my 15 month subscription period have the JS guys and servers disappointed me.

Rather, Jetspot has surprised me with serendipitous gifts on innumerable occasions. While I subscribe to the most basic pack (which is awesome!) where the regular speeds offer 720p streams without buffering, there has been months when Jetspot upped my YouTube speeds to 1080p without buffering just as a gesture of generosity.

During the Chennai floods where most ISPs had called it quits, Jetspots backup servers kept me going on pretty smooth. It is an ode to breathtaking spirits of engineering the network architect has laid down into the systems.

On the highest spectrum, Jetspot has illuminated my life. As a curious human being whose entire education and survival depended on the internet, I owe JS my bread and butter. Writing this review has brought me to the point of tears, for I cannot explain what my life would looked like without JS.

Jetspot is amazing high speed internet service provider in Bhubaneswar. Quality & speed of internet is the best. Services are bang on as well.

Actually I'm not a customer, i heard lots of praises from the customers. I wanted to get it installed. But i live in a single floor Govt quarter in unit-3. This area neither has fiber connectivity, nor can they provide me with a wireless broadband. We have dishtv connection since last 8 years and still working fine. May i know why can't you make a dish antenna work on my roof in 2017 ? Then I bought a jiofi finding no way out (as i didn't want to use ortel or bsnl). And quite happy with it.

It is one of the better Internet Service Providers in Bhubaneswar.The downtime faced is minimal and the company keeps us well informed.Only thing I think can be better is to increase the area of coverage on fiber.

At the beginning it was good and i was quiet happy as a jetspot user but now it is so slow and unstable, now i am using wireless its ok but before that i used fiber broadband as well i have to admit that it is fast but after few months that also started to getting slower & slower and totally unstable, i had 75mbps plan but my fiber never got above 55-50 and as i said totally unstable as compare to before when its newly launched.

Never ever they will pick your phone for customer service. Every time you have to email them.

Being a new customer to Jetspot,I am not having good experience for Fiber connection they have provided.I took coneection from March and I was facing frequent disconnection,for which I have contacted the Jetspot team and all the time they say we are looking into it.Also, they say we have resolved it from our end without visiting.After Fani,neither they are responding to emails/phone calls till today.Taking this connection is big loss for me when I have spend more than 3k on installation excluding the router.

700 per month(excluding taxes) for just 1 Mbps(real speed would drop down to ~200 KBps). Are you kidding me? This is what happens when there is no competition in market. Airtel postpaid provides better value for money than this
