Jade Communications installed high speed broadband...

Jade Communications installed high speed broadband in my rural small town home. They solved a long-standing difficult location issue with new fixed wireless technology. More importantly, I can finally have "big city" broadband service so I can run my "work from home" programs. Besides giving me the capacity I need, they have demonstrated outstanding customer service and problem solving skills. Hats off to a local company, bringing economic development and community support to Huerfano County!

Small town service, high tech services. We've worked with Lynn at Jade/Blanca for 16 years. She has provided us with first rate customer service on a first name basis. Throughout these years, Jade has provided us with consistent and reliable satellite internet service. We are so grateful for the installation team that always makes it "way out" to our off grid homes. We still can't believe how awesome the new internet system is. Thank you, Jade, for allowing us such great service in such remote locations.

The fact that they refuse to even acknowledge the ...

The fact that they refuse to even acknowledge the actual problem I hope shows people how little they care about their customers.

I would love to give a higher review as when the internet service does work it's great, however the managers are so unhelpful it's ridiculous. Probably the least helpful and most uncaring professionals I've ever talked to at an internet company. My internet was once out for nearly three weeks and I was still required to pay for a full month to keep my service.

Reply: I am not referring to the non payment issue. I understand if the bill is unpaid, then I don't get service. I am referring to when the storm knocked out our internet and it took you guys weeks to get a technician scheduled to come fix it, and then they rescheduled which took an additional week. The storm was not your fault however the additional time waiting for your technician was which is what led to me not having internet for nearly 3 weeks. I was still required to pay for the whole month even with not having internet for over half the month.

I was prepared to have a love affair with Jade, then we had some little bumps in the road. I proabably would not appreciate them as much as I do now when all the bumps were smoothed out. If everything had gone like clockwork, I wouldn't know what great customer service they have. Real people, knowledgeble and helpful. I am now going to be like everyone else I know and be quite pleased with my Jade service.

I was having issue connecting with WiFi and contacted Jade.They responded to my problem ASAP. They did not hesitate to attempt to utilize the options available. After extensive troubleshooting they sent out a technician that changed out the equipment at my home in Fort Garland without any issue. He took the time to explain what he had done and how it improved signal strength. He discovered my laptop was the issue. I've always been extremely pleased with the professionality shown by everyone that has helped me at Jade. From the front desk, the technicians and financial department-they are a class act.

Crystal and all of Jade personnel have been fantastic. There was a mix up, on my part, when account was set up and she was very helpful in getting it resolved and offered some other alternatives to help everything go smoothly. Her friendliness and professionalism a breath of fresh air. Go Jade!

Jordan walked me through the process, to get my problem solved and did a great job, as I am not very tech savy. He was very professional, helpful,
knowledgeable and was concerned about solving my problem, which he did.
This was the 2nd time, Jordan helped with a problem that I had and the result was the same, very positive. You can count on Jordan to get your

We missed one month's payment and I had a automatic payment that would have been received one day after their cutoff. I called and let them know and they were unwilling to wait one day for the payment. The internet connection sometimes doesn't work. I will be looking for another provider though I am not sure one will be available. Very disappointed in the service.

I am a nurse and live in an area with limited cell...

I am a nurse and live in an area with limited cell-phone service. I have to utilize a signal booster for my phone that connects to a router. I also had very poor internet service. I called Jade Communications and was set up with new service within 72 hours. I now have the fastest internet I have ever had and I have excellent cell phone connection. During these uncertain times, as a nurse, my ability to communicate with the hospital where I work is critical. Thank you Jade!!! Also shout-out to the technician who installed for us-great job!

Horrible General Manager. Sets poor example for all of company. Lied to me directly on call. False claims, poor customer service. Opted for no internet than deal with this BS. They claim price hikes are government regulated increase, this is FALSE. Drop them and show them they are not tolerated.

I had fiber internet installed yesterday. The crew that visited my home was very professional, concerned about my desires and did a great job in virtually no time. I quickly and easily connected all the devices in our home to new, blazing speed internet. Our children were thrilled, having a whole new genre of games opened to their use ("online games"). After streaming with Hulu, I thought, "Wow, maybe Hulu's new, higher price is worth it (Jade should get kick-backs from Hulu!)" ... all straight up SHARPEST picture with zero buffering, skipping all commercials now near instantly. However, I needed help today to connect specialty devices to the new, hi-speed fiber.

I called tech support (Saturday morning) and detailed my problems. They said a tech would call by Monday at the latest; Josh, the tech, called within an hour or two (still Saturday, before noon). He totally held my hand, walking me thru the brainy stuff that I couldn't do on my own. Specialty devices solved / connected to the "true juice, now!" Josh was friendly and patient, while also examining our entire household's connected devices to ensure each device had maximum signal reception for optimum fiber internet service.

Update, 12/8/2020: Adjusted from 5 stars to 3 stars because while the specialty devices I mentioned above are receiving a strong signal, something about the Jade Comms router (fiber) functions differently than the router we had with SECOM (wireless). The SECOM service worked flawlessly with these devices .... while Jade's service only permits the devices to work sporadically at best :(

They are very fast at responding to customer needs and the follow-up calls to make sure that things are taken care of are nice. Jordan and Josh in the IT department are amazing - had a problem and they fixed the issue quickly. They are an amazing part of the Jade team.

I have been a Jade customer for at least 10 years,...

I have been a Jade customer for at least 10 years, maybe closer to 12 or 13 years, and have had nothing but the best possible service for that entire time. Recently when activating our satellite internet for the summer, Crystal informed me of a new plan, checked to make sure my equipment was compatible, and then pointed out it was faster, less expensive, and no data limits! Of course, I switched. She had it up and running before we arrived at the cabin. Outstanding customer service. Thanks, Crystal!

After upgrading our router we had problems with our TV and Printer connecting. The gentleman I talked to took the time to not only install my printer for me but to ensure all my other devices were working before we finished the call. Special thanks to Cliff for all the help.

Don't let the 5 Star reviews fool you...they are w...

Don't let the 5 Star reviews fool you...they are written by the owner's family members. Service is POOR! They don't even come close to the speeds they advertise. They stack too many users on one tower, but refuse to admit it. Our internet was down at least once a week and was next to nothing EVERY weekend. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but they know they are dishonest and will lie to you with a smile.

For the record I am not related to anyone at Jade ...

For the record I am not related to anyone at Jade nor do I work there. I use Canopy internet in a somewhat remote location, but luckily can see the top of the tower. I am extremely pleased with Jade Internet s service and reliability. My wife and I work from home so fast reliable internet is a must.

Recently, Allison went above and beyond to help us and I want to give her kudos for that. So nice and so helpful. I could not be more pleased.

Jade is everything a communications company should...

Jade is everything a communications company should be. Their fiber optic internet provides very fast service at very competitive rates. The customer service is top notch and they go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. We switched to Jade a couple years ago from CenturyLink and couldn't be happier. We save over $40 a month compared to what we used to spend and have a very higher quality of service for our phone and internet as well as any technical support we need. My only regret is that I didn't switch to Jade sooner. I have recommended many switch to them and will continue to do so. I am very satisfied with their service.

Terrible customer service. As bad as I've ever seen.

Tried them again and guess what..... still the same old slow nonfunctional internet as before.....even paid the extra to try for the fastest they had......these folks will take your money and give you nothing in return.....don t know about anyone else but I m headed to the BBB. Just because they are the only game in town doesn t mean they can do this. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The fiber optics, cost and service from Jade Communications are the best! The outages are very far and few between and taken care of with the utmost speed. We are moving and one of our greatest regrets is having to leave this service behind. 100+% better than Hughes Net and Ciello!

Beats CenturyStink by MILES. I was paying for a 10Mbps connection that never went above 1Mbps, Jade set me up with a 20+ connection that is FLAWLESS..and for less than what I was getting ripped off from CenturyStink. I should have switched years ago.

I was having a hard time figuring out why my wi-fi wasn't working. Josh went above and beyond including troubleshooting with me till almost 10 O'clock at night. after all the troubleshooting and Josh not completely satisfied with my connection speed he immediately sent someone out first thing the next day and my Wi-fi connection is better than ever!! You don't see customer service like this any more! I would highly recommend Jade Communications without any reservation. i was treated like an important customer not a number and that means a lot! Josh all your hard work and efforts are greatly appreciated!

I wish I would have had an opportunity to experience their service. The first install date was a couple weeks out. Hours of operation is M-F 8-5, which I would have had to take a half possibly a whole day off. Then extra install fee of $99 to not drill into the house I am renting. For an up and coming provider of whom I would love to be a customer of, they need better hours or longer hours M-F or Saturdays maybe half a day so other hard working people would be able be at home when the tech arrives. I had to go with a different, slower provider, but who had an open spot within two days and install I didn't need to be home.

I am writing this review to educate anyone who opts to enter into an agreement with jade communications. I obtained only internet service through Jade; therefore, receiving only a modem at the residence. I'm moving; therefore, I called to cancel services. I was informed by customer service that I am to return the modem and satellite dish. I informed the customer service rep that I did not have a satellite dish installed only a modem. The dish she's referring to had been previously installed by the former tenants 4 or more months prior to my move in. She said despite that my agreement states I take over ownership of any equipment. I asked if the satellite was detrimental to Jade why did they allow it to sit for over 4 months without retrieving it thus charging the former tenants for removal? What if the dish was damaged under the previous tenants account without my knowledge, am I responsible for that? I did not receive an answer to those questions. I was told my options are to pay a removal fee or retrieve the satellite dish from a top of the home myself which was installed initially for another customer. I have no quarrels with returning the modem but to ask a customer to cover the removal cost of equipment that should have been removed when the previous tenants moved out is unreasonable. Please be careful when dealing with this company.

Harley originally helped me transfer my services from day 1 as I was moving into my new home. Her constant communication, even when I was tied up doing other things during the move, she made sure she called me before going home to ensure I had everything ready for my services. On the day of service, I called in and was referred back to her, as I'm certain it was she who knew everything about my case. She sent someone out to help with my troubleshooting. They arrived within 5 minutes. And of course, I was utilizing the wrong cable connection and once they connected me, everything went along smoothly. Harley and I spoke once more to ensure I was connected - by the end of the phone call, I was up and running! It was fast and easy! Thanks Jade! Especially thanks to Harley and for Josh for coming out and helping!

This is pretty much the most unreliable internet service I have ever experienced. They argue with you saying the service is not interrupted but it is. Then they come to fix it and no difference. We pay for 20 mbps and lucky if we get 10 mbps. We will be changing soon. Don t waste your money.

They advertise 24/7 support on their website yet they only claim to answer the phone Mon-Fri 8-5. Sadly they do not even manage this. I've been calling multiple times and no one answers. The internet has been down 12 hours and I'm paying $63/month for the privilege. I've just had to buy a gigabyte from AT&T to get online. Anyone who provides a 24/7 service should be available 24/7 to service it.

Excellent Internet!!!!! It could be the place in which I live... By mm 244 of 160... So NOT downtown Alamosa at all, I would think it would be a little slower for me. With that said, I come from the DC/Baltimore area, and this Internet is every bit as good as Verizon Fios... For those who know what that is. We have consistent download speeds of 30 mbps as that's what we pay for. I travel a lot for work, so when I'm gone, it takes one phone call to put it on vacation mode, and one to take it off upon return. They never keep me on hold, I always talk to Laura when I call lol she is great... When I called originally last year, there was a small mixup on when we wanted the dish installed, but they promptly fixed it and we had it up within hours of completing the application.

To conclude, there is simply NO better Internet provider in the valley, hands down. Unlimited downloads, fast speed, PROMPT customer service... What else do people want out of their Internet provider!? Maybe I'm just very fortunate but it seems that if they provide this caliber of service to me for over a year, that someone else would be happy... Now we have payments on automatic withdrawal so there isn't an issue there, and we do pay for the upgraded speed... VERY HAPPY!!!

It was very hard for us to leave Jade Communications. We now have broadband to our remote cabin. They gave excellent service to us for over 20 years. It was always so nice to call up and talk to a real person on the phone instead of a computer. I would highly recommend them as an excellent internet company.

The customer service I received from Josh, the Director of Network Operations, was second to none. He actually took the time to walk me through the use of their new Jade Wifi app. I cannot say that I ever received this type of customer service with AT&T, Time-Warner, Verizon, Spectrum, or Frontier. The installation process was a breeze and the communication was excellent. The download/upload speeds are exactly as promised unlike many other ISPs. The three of us are able to work remotely by each of us video conferencing all at the same time. I only wish they were my internet service provider at my house.

They were great to deal with. They had a sight delay in getting me installed because the massive Spring Fire had taken out some towers, but they got me set up promptly after that. They were also really sensitive to my landlords concern about installation and putting holes into the house. The installers were thorough and professional and did a great job using the existing holes to run the cable. Then I got a call back from the sales person I spoke with who went over the billing and answered any questions. These folks have been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.
