nice place but service and food were awfull.. they were out of there best meat the brisket at 7.00 on a saturday nite. even the deserts were below average.
i would have rather eaten at abblebys. but you could always go to watch some games if you dont mind looking straight up since tvs r mounted twenty feet up and on the cieling. all in all worst place ive been to in a long long time

This is a bonafide steakhouse. The steaks and sides we ordered were cooked perfectly. The medium rare was spot on. The sides we ordered were the creamed spinach (I thought this was better than the creamed spinach at Lawry's Prime Rib - yes, I know it's blasphemy to say that!), the lemon garlic sauteed asparagus, and the mushroom and shallots. The asparagus was excellent and cooked al dente. The mushrooms were out of this world though. Cooked perfectly and the flavor...wow, just wow. If you like mushrooms, do not pass these up!

Service was good... Server did get us the wrong gin though and one of the desserts that came out was incorrect, as well.

So, 4 stars out of 5.

Yes, the prices are reasonable since this is a steakhouse with excellent cuts off meat cooked properly.

If you like select grade and/or well done steaks, hi to Sizzler or Norms. Don't complain about the prices.

Very nice good ole American food, ribs were very tasty and fries were nice and crunchy! Happy hour options are also plentiful.

Beautiful dining experience specially if you chose to eat outside. The food is excellent and so are the drinks.

Excellent place to have a meal. Great service, great atmosphere. But the food, the food is just.... awesome. The loaded potatoes address the best I've had ever. The burger I had was so tasty, the bacon is thick cut and tastes like bacon should taste.

Great food, try the brisket. Teena was our server, she's excellent. Come during happy hour, discounts on drinks. When it's cooler, you can eat outside (102 degrees today). Make a reservation before you drop in.

Loved it!! Awesome patio and good eats! They had outdoor heaters but also room for the kids to run around and nice scenic water features.

Mediocre food. Guacamole was uninspired and bland. Same with salad and chicken sandwich. Mostly just bland food. However it's a beautiful place, clean, and well maintained and the service was outstanding.

Love this place. Cool interior, good food. Fun atmosphere. Good for kids and adults, very unusual for both, but it really is! Great bar area separate from eating area. Watch the game's and still not disturb the others dining.

Being from Orange County, we try to dine at Jackalope Rach any time we get to the desert. This trip though was special. I planned a 35 year reunion for my sorority sisters and we stayed at an Airbnb. I planned dinner one of the nights and Jackalope Ranch was my 1st suggestion. It was one of the ladies birthday and they treated us like royalty. We first started off with drinks in the bar while our table was getting ready. Being October, dining outside, the weather was perfect. I know every one of us were so happy with the dining and service experience. I always know what to expect and that's why I always return!

Absolutely a place worth visiting, the food is excellent and fresh, the rates are reasonable and it is always neat there. 5 stars.

Great atmosphere for meeting friends. Plan to sit outside in the garden under the stars...good value. Try the ribs.

WARNING: If you sit outside its likely no one will serve you for 20 minutes. Once you then get served the server will pretend it was not their table, despite me overhearing her name when the hostess and manager were seating us. Also if you finish your beer it will probably be less of a hassle if you go get a new one from the bartender yourself.

Food was pretty good, but overall not worth the money or your time.

4 of us arrived for dinner with reservations and we were seated immediately even though it was a packed house. All of the meals were delicious. The pork and beef brisket were tasty and in ample supply. Despite being very tender, bring your own knife. What's available are so dull they are useless.

Fine dining at the Chop Shop. Expect everything to be as perfect as you've paid for. It was for us, top notch service from Bryce and high quality entrees and sides. Next door at the Jackalope, you'll find a nice, but more casual menu and atmosphere.

A favorite spot for tasty BBQ. I was super full. The staff was very welcoming and sociable.

The food is OK, but nothing spectacular and service is generally slow. The atmosphere is fun.

I heard the establishment served good food but it seems customer service in the industry of where the customer is something most places value but NOT this place !
I phoned at exactly 7:06 to place a order that totaled well over 100.00 only to be told SORRY WE ARE ALREADY CLOSED !

Nowhere on the site I found says all orders by 7:00 pm and with that I hung up very disappointed

So much so I phoned back just to ask once more for our order to be taken since the orders stop at 7 but it s still OPEN and giving out all the ones called in BEFORE 7

Once again the man REFUSED to take my order at 7:09 pm and it s still LIGHT OUTSIDE !

So this is one place where I guess my business just was not wanted or desired !

During this pandemic I ve found many nice things but this place is NOT ONE OF THEM !

7:06 pm with a 100.00 order and first time patron is NOT the type of business I was raised with where CUSTOMERS MATTER and repeat business is sought after !

So JACKALOPE RANCH YOU GET A GREAT BIG THUMBS DOWN FOR RUDE AND BEYOND TO A PATRON THAT IS NOW VERY UNIMPRESSED !

Horrible experience!!
I had heard wonderful things about this restuarant about a year ago, and finally had an opportunity to give it a try tonight for my mother's 74th birthday and my parent's 54th wedding anniversary.
Well ...here is a list of the ridiculousness we experienced ...
1) 25 minutes and 4 requests to get a glass of water.
2) 40 minutes and a request to speak with the manager (who NEVER came to see us) before our order was taken.

....Oh my goodness! So much went wrong that I don't want to waste time detailing everything! Suffice it to say, service was horrible and food was even worse!!! The only redeeming factor is the beautiful landscaping around the outside bar. Perhaps, and ONLY PERHAPS, it would be worth going for a beverage from a bottle outside by the fountain/waterfall.

Wonderful facility. This place has so many different ways to enjoy. The huge outdoor patio, the saloon or the dining room. I'll be back.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and I believed that it was brisket which I don't like. They claimed it was pulled pork. They took it back and I decided to get nothing.

Beautiful place to have drinks ONLY. Would not recommend having dinner. Food was very disappointing and overpriced. Staff was average. We were a group of 10 - spent around $500, and was told to hurry because they needed our table by the hostess. We do not plan to go back.

Good food, beautiful grounds in the outdoor section - seemed nice inside too but I honestly didn't pay much attention as we walked through to the outdoor seating.
I do have to ding them one star for a minor service glitch however.
I'm not sure whether it was our server or the kitchen but one of them managed to send or bring out the wrong sauce. Easily remidied but getting exactly what you order at a restaurant of this caliber is something that I consider a very basic function, so for at least this visit I can't give them 5 stars.
Otherwise it was a nice meal in a lovely setting.

By far the best restaurant in town I would give it 10 stars but they won't let me.

Jackalope Ranch is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. They have a relaxing pool with statues and waterfalls in the back. It is a nice place to sit out and relax on an afternoon for lunch. They have lots of barbecue dishes and there is place for children to play in the grass.

Great food, great service. This was a wonderful setting for a dinner with family and friends.

Celebrated Mother's Day at Jackalope Ranch. Beautiful Restaurant, great brunch and wonderful food. The management offers a great selection of food for everyone. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this establishment. This was not our first time.

Service was the worst. Half our party got up and left a party of 14 down to 7 one person never got his order.15 minutes to get a drink. Bbq very dry.

No real complaints, just not my kind of place. Drinks and service were good.

First visit to Jackalope Ranch for a company Christmas dinner. First impression was that it reminded me of Babe's Bar-B-Que because of all the statues. It was very nice and comforting inside. The staff was friendly, orders were taken correctly and dinner served promptly as could be for a party of twenty.
The only thing that I found disappointing was the Brisket, it was very dry.
Overall, it was a good time with great company. Just not sure if I'd come back to give them the benefit of doubt over Brisket. Sorry but three stars here.

From 2 nights ago, sea bass was salty and brisket was dry as a chip. Beautiful restaurant but very bad food. Go for cocktails. Dine elsewhere.

This place usted to be better. Service was a bit slow, and this was during a slow hour.

When we come to Indio, always have at least one meal there. Such a welcoming interior and food is delicious.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I've had in awhile. It took one hour to get our drinks. When the appetizer showed up it was cold. Dinner was lukewarm. Management discounted 10 percent. Oh goody. We will not be back.

Although the food wasn't bad, the service was absolutely horrible to the point of hostility coming from the waitress. We visited for Sunday brunch which includes bottomless mimosas. My sister did not want to drink and the waitress refused to serve orange juice, despite later seeing other tables with carafes of orange juice. To top it off, upon discreetly talking to the management about the issue, rather than doing anything to reconcile the situation (for example, apologize and bring my sister orange juice), they stated they would "let the owners know.". Unfortunately the place is beautiful, the food is good, but the management and staff are what makes an experience and they spoiled it.

Although some serving staff were great, there were some serious issues in the restaurant's management. Orders were wrong, bathrooms were out of order, wait times were way too long... it seems they might benefit from shutting down for a day to get things in order.

The food was pretty good but the waitress was too busy kissing up to the big party and our 3-person party got noticeably snubbed service-wise.

Actually we dined at the Chop House (Steakhouse) within the Jackalope location. AMAZING dinner, great waitress, Mandi and a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine's Day early!

Meals are ok, but way overpriced. $30+ for an entree

This was our first time visit to Jackalope Ranch restaurant.We were greeted warmly by the hostess, then seated very quickly. Our server Alex was personable and very attentive during our dining. Our food was delivered quickly, hot and fresh. The ribs were very tender and so delicious. Mashed potatoes and coleslaw accompanied our meal. The only thing I wish was that coleslaw be served on the plate or in a small bowl rather than in a plastic black cup. My salad with mixed berries and chilled shrimp with candied walnuts and champagne dressing was so delicious and refreshing. It's worth dining there again in our future visit.

I had a great meal. I had a burger it was very good and my wife had sliders. The couple next to us had the same exact thing and said they also thought it was great. We have gone there before and love the ambiance. Jackalope is a great place to spend the evening and bring friends or just enjoy it with your loved one. We will definitely go back as we have before.

We were a party of 6 at 5:00. The atmosphere is just beautiful, my pulled pork sandwich and homemade potato chips were delicious, as was my margarita. I would recommend a relaxing meal here. We had one little bump and Bryce, the manager, was super helpful. We will be back. Thank you.

Food OK, price and service don't match! Brisket was plain. Burger, ribs , chicken and Caesar salad saved the meal. Ahi tacos not worth ordering. Will give another try!

Sit at bar....Nachos are fantastic. Great outdoor seating.

If you don't eat outside you missed one of the best parts about eating here!
