Had lunch recently. Lunch menu very limited. Also was told I could not eat outside then noticed there were already other people eating outside. Then they let me eat outside. Meat overdone. Lovely setting but have not really had a great meal. Food just ok.

Food was awful. Ceaser salad was ok. Zucchini sticks were soggy. Chicken was undercooked and the skin was way to peppery. Key lime pie was good. Service was super slow. I was so upset as I loved the chop house and didnt know it was no longer in the Jackalope Ranch. I wanted steak and my favorite chop house creamed spinach. It's a BBQ place like Babes in Rancho only not as good and twice the price. Skip it

I love the out door setting here, but everything else is more ordinary. Service at bar pretty slow and my wife's strawberry daiquiri was more like than strawberry. Always fun to dine in such a beautiful setting. We will return

Had a reservation for mothers day at 3 pm. Called to confirm to make sure we where able to order from normal menu vrs the buffet. When we arrived they said that we where unable to be seated outside as requested. And we had to pay buffet price but the buffet was shutting down and we would have to eat what was left. Talked to mgr Jerry who was very rude and was un willing to accommodate any type of solution. Came all the way down from laverne to eat here with my mother wife and son. AND it is the last time we will ever go back. Jerry lacks the ability to run a restaurant and handle any customer situation in a professional manner. Instead of helping he told my mother she must of misunderstand instead of taking responsibility for his staffs error.

Seemed like a nice place ran by the wrong the esp for a special day. One to remember thanks to the lack of ability to make a bad situation worse.
Went to Morongo and had a great lunch buffet.

The service was only 1 star but the food was about 3 stars, once we got the right order. Our server seemed really distracted. The outdoor seating and surrounding area is beautiful on a warm evening.

It's a nice place to take a date. Not really for children. Although they do have kid menus. The prices are kinda high but not unreasonable. I would say for special occasions or date night with spouse.

Horrible! we made a reservation since we have a young child so we wouldnt have to wait and they made us wait 45 minutes and still didnt seat us! no apology, nothing! a guy on thr way out told us he was sitting for 30 minutes without as much as getting a water. Do not waste your time because you may have to wait 5 hours to get fed.

We had a party of three and had a great time. We dined outside and enjoyed the view. I had the BBQ beef brisket and it was as delicious as I had heard. My friends had the salmon and they gobbled it all down as well. My compliments to the chef! The food here lives up to it's reputation. The margarita's were good also. This was my first visit here and will definitely come back. Our server' s name was Shastain, and she was excellent!
Looking forward to dining there again!

Very disappointed. Service was not good or prompt. They have a great web that talks about Cathobrianne and Tomahawak for two, but all of that is not on menu or even in the servers mentality. My steak, 8 oz. Fillet was woefully small, even though it was cooked med rare. My husbands prime rib was suppose to be rare rare was tough and med well. Server never came back to check to see if we were okay. Just not a good experience. We will not be back.

Waitress lilianna was great. Good service good food. We enjoyed happy hour food selection but we missed early bird specials. We noticed that servers have full name on receipts which isn t secure for the staff - sb first name last name initial. We ll come back for prime rib night. Great atmosphere!

What a disappointing experience. Had a family graduation dinner here and I had high hopes. But I was less than thrilled with the service and food. The service was AWFUL, it was a Monday night and the restaurant was EMPTY but it took 30+ mins to get drinks. Then we were handed a limited menu because we were a large group. But seeing as the place was EMPTY we asked to see the full menu, we were met with attitude and unwillingness. When we got out food it was ok but not great. We had a grad cake we asked to have plates and forks for, but were told it would cost $1.50 per person to serve the cake. After all $$ spent on dinner I would think they would accommodate us with a couple plates and forks. I will NEVER go back and highly recommend that you take caution when dining here.

I really enjoyed this place. The inside is huge with lots of tables and lots of noise. To be expected on a Friday night. I recommend reservations because it definitely gets busy. Even with the increased traffic, we didn't feel totally ignored or forgotten by our waiter. We sat outside on the huge, beautifully landscaped patio. It was a brisk evening and there were plenty of heaters to go around to keep it very cozy. The food was good. My husband had CDC a pulled pork sandwich that he said was on the lukewarm side but tasted good. I had the Coachella Date, Grape salad with salmon. It was really good but I'm thinking they ran out of dates and threw in a handful of craisins! LOL! The staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. Anyway, I'd definitely try it again sometime.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. The best part of this restaurant is the grounds and they have a very nice outdoor seating area with waterfall. I have ate here on a couple of different occasions with family and friends and find it extremely overpriced for what you get. On my last visit, ordered the fish and chips and although I received about 6 inches of fries, the fish consisted of what looked like about four or five fish Styx looking pieces that were mostly breading for $24.95. I actually would have sent them back had I had seen the waitress again throughout our meal. Very, very disappointed.

We did not have a good experience here. While the staff appeared to be working very hard, the service was extremely slow and the food was just acceptable. It's a fun environment, so it's unfortunate that the understaffing ruins the experience.

This is one of the finest restaurants to visit in the Coachella Valley. Very upscale, very friendly staff. We went for a Valentine's Day dinner everything we had was delicious. I will recommend this place for fine dining and special occasions, I only wish it was closer to where I lived I would go more often. I do recommend reservations this place is very busy. You can't go wrong dining at this place. Loved it

Jackalope Ranch is a lovely locale for a Sunday buffet brunch to fill any appetite. From bountiful fresh fruit and tasty pastries to made-to-order omelets and multiple carving stations, there is plenty for everyone. The service is great, too!

It was perfect temperature and there was a wonderful breeze for eating outside! Beautiful outdoor seating area with gorgeous landscaping. Good happy hour menu and the nachos are huge! Good service. The beef brisket sandwich had to be eaten with a fork.

It really is a good place, but they need to retrain there staff about service. To wait for a server for 15 min is not acceptable. And that place was not packed. 2 days ago, I was with friends. Granted we came late for happy hour, and my friend asked when is happy hour...a curt reply from our server was "we dont have happy hour"...YES you do, its 3 to 6 PM...you have all the right products, good prime rib etc, but your crew needs training.

First time here. So disappointed! I didn't get what I ordered and it was the dish recommended to me by my server! They recommended the BBQ but when my meal came there was no BBQ on the burger. My meal was brought to me 15 minutes after everyone else was served. The other party in our group did not get their order correct either, so I know it wasn't just me complaining. So disappointing. ..I really was looking forward to a great meal, but so disappointing, would not come back and would not recommend

A very hesitant one star. Loud radio!! blaring into such a delightful outside eating setting verges on criminal.
Brisket sliders were dry - both meat and buns - and virtually tasteless. Coleslaw on the side was delicious. Fries were ok. Fish tacos were good. Accompanying beans may have been beans somewhere in their past, but not today. Reminded me of that dark, chunky liquid at the bottom of a can of beans when you drain it.
Draft beer was draft beer. Sangria was an ok approximation.
Waitress was of good assistance when we asked about having the radio turned down. But I still had to speak with a "manager" to get it turned down more to the point we could have a conversation. Was informed it was happy hour and the customers want that sound. I said we have come here every year because of the wonderful outdoor setting and the ambience that creates. (It never occurred to me that the 50, 60, and 70 year olds who made up most of the customers "wanted" that volume of radio music and announcer's voice blaring from the 8 or so speakers pointed down onto diners.)
The woman in charge (and don't you forget it!) of allowing you to be seated was singularly offputting with her unfriendliness. Can you spell 'haughtiness'? Pretty much the opposite of the welcoming greeting one gets almost everywhere else.
My conclusion is that Jackalope Ranch television ads are "much ado about nothing".
Really too bad. We used to love coming here.

If you haven't been by to sit at the bar with Oscar you are missing out. Very knowledgeable and great service. Great happy hour and the food is delicious. I will definitely be putting this on my regular list of places to go!

Great setting. Service slow but pleasant. Decent margarita.. Ribs ok, not great. Brisket fell short, especially since they pride themselves on being a smokehouse. Overall, setting and vibe outweigh average food and service. Will return.

Great atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor area with waterfall. It s always a fun place to visit. The food is decent but when you couple it with the atmosphere and a drink or two...quite enjoyable overall.
