Nice place, but pricy (IE: $15 burgers), service was slow... Not sure, but either a lot of people were dining on their patio for lunch, as it looked most of the wait staff were taking food outside vs inside.

Lunch menu had no Italian food, despite Yelp listing as such... They are a BBQ joint.

Good food! Wild Berry Sorbet is the best I ever had!

Really nice location with beautiful gardens. Kid friendly. Drinks reasonably priced and good variety. We had the buffet. My two friends loved it and there was a great choice ...but I thought the prime rib and lamb were not great. Nicely cooked but a bit tough and lacking in flavor. Still worth a visit. Check price though as more than we expected.

This is awesome place and amazing, The food and drinks are good, but the atmosphere really makes the place special. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is beautiful. It has heat lamps and a fire pit on the patio area. Cool place and relaxing.

We hunted for 10 minutes to find someone to seat us. While taking our orders our waitress a. Reached to her behind and scratched her butt crack; b. Put her hand through her hair 3-4 times; c. Scratched her neck; her eyebrow; rubbed her face - yechk!!!! The manager was more worried about offending our waitress than pleasing the customer. If we hadn't arrived at 9:50 pm, we would have left. Frankly, he should have done something, adjusted our bill. Clueless. Never to return.

Great restaurant, beautiful views, yummy food and great service! Came for a late lunch, had to wait about ten minutes but it went by fast when your looking around at the gorgeous grounds.

Been going to Jackalobe for over 4 years. First two years were great. Now there is no consistency in food and prices, and service has badly deteriorated. The spicy tacos were not spicy, and another dish was not listed as spicy came hot enough to to burn your tongue off. Waitress was totally disinterested. Gave us a bill for $89 when ours was supposed to be $29 (nice try!). Not apologetic just slapped the adjusted bill down. The architecture is nice, maybe should just do tours and forget about the restaurant, judging by how few people were there.

Great food, kind and pleasent staff.

Great food, kind and pleasent staff.
While in the middle of our dinner there was a power outage in the local area, which left the entire Restaurant without electricity for about 20-30 minutes. Through the darkness the staff stayed calm and pulled together as a team to make sure the costumers needs we're being met. The manager, Cesar, personally checked on all the costumes offering assistance and reassurances. Great recovery for what could have been a desaster.
We will dine here again, even in the dark!

The food is the only good thing at this restaurant. The worst service & management. I will never recommend anyone to this restaurant. One of the worst experience ever. The server was as bad as she could possibly be. Took her twenty five minutes to take our order and the food took an hour. One of the female manager had to go ask about our order in the kitchen after overhearing us after an hour of waiting. We left the most careless server $1.00 tip.

Run away as fast as you can. Food is mediocre at best. Service is some of the worse I have ever experienced. The servers clearly don't want to be there. The prices are insane for what you get. They boast of 14 hour smoked meats but no smoke rings? Clearly they meant 14 hours in the oven. Tons of potential, great location but management and owners lost their way.

I was going to make it a two star until I stepped into the soggy french fries on the ground. It's not hard to check around the table and sweep it up.
Service was adequate.
I never usually trust a place that has their own merch. Too gimmicky. I was right. They would be better to boil the t shirts and hats and serve those.
How this place has so many 5 stars tells me one of two things. People have no idea of good Barbeque or the desert heat has dried out everyone's taste buds.
Skip it. There's an In N Out down the street. The food will be better.

We celebrated our grandson's 5th birthday here on a Monday evening arriving about 5 pm. It was beautiful weather and we wanted to eat outside on their beautifully landscaped patio. We expected a long wait since they don't take reservations for patio dining. To our delight, we were seated right away. The place quickly filled up after that so we came at a good time.
We ordered tri tip steak dinners, bbq pork sliders, wedge salads and baked potato for the adults and chicken nuggets and fruit off the children's menu. The drinks were wine, beer, coffee and a watermelon sling cocktail.
The atmosphere was charming and the service was quick. The food and drinks were a mixed bag. The watermelon sling was, although delicious, mostly ice (for$12) and the salad had a long black hair in it. The sliders, French fries and tri tip dinners were good, as was the wine and beer. The complimentary ice cream and cookie with 1 lit candle fir the birthday boy was a great ending to the meal. We will probably return, just for the ambiance.

BEWARE! If you have hours to spare and like mediocre food this place is for you!
To start they lost our reservation (there were 8 of us) and it took 3 people to find it. Took wayyyy too long to take our order and deliver our drinks. TWO hours after we were seated we got our meals (2 received their meals a half hour before the rest). It was freezing cold inside. Had to ask for the manager twice before he finally came to the table. Food was delivered cold and not to specs (med. rare was well done) - salad dressing watered down. A complete disaster from the moment we arrived. The hostess said they were super busy every night and our waitress told us the chefs were backed up. Seems to me if they re that busy every night they should be able to handle their timing and meal preparation. There are sooo many restaurants in the area that there is no reason to eat here. You ve been warned!!!

I visited Jackalope Ranch on a a busy Friday night for my Mother's birthday and I was not impressed with the service or the food. Upon arrival, we were told we would have to wait 25 minutes for a seat inside even though we had a reservation. We sat outside instead as there was a fire and a lot of heat lamps - however, they ended up turning a bunch of them off as fewer people were outside leaving us quite cold. The service was incredibly slow, with the server barely checking on us. We even had to resort to getting up and looking for a straw in the restaurant at one point as the server had forgotten and was not coming around. The server was quick to point out the "bad" dishes on the menu - although I appreciated her honesty, I don't think it represents the restaurant well. The food that arrived was less than stellar - the bbq meat was drenched in bbq sauce and was dry. Overall, our family of 6 were not happy with the experience and will not be returning.

Food presentation was not too great, nor the flavor. I ordered the nachos and got a disaster plate. My brother ordered the steak and after seeing that it was a hanger steak at 7oz for $30!? I mean really? The streak was ordered at a medium rare and it came to the table medium. The veggies were under cooked and you could clearly see that they used powdered product for the sauce. The only item that tasted good were the potatoes. I think the extra charge might be the atmosphere because I don't see how any of the food should be at that cost.
