We had a brilliant stay at ITC. Jennifer and Priyanka from ITC Kolkata took great care of every little detail. The breakfast buffet is a steal and we wish we could stay longer. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much, ITC.

What an amazing place to spend time. Even though I was part of a delegation (the worst kind of hotel guest!), we were taken care of like kings and everything was perfect. From the infrastructure, it s upkeep, the hospitality, the food and a general sense of politeness. Loved it.

This my second visit to this hotel. Beautiful hotel located in pieceful atmosphere. This time l reached at 3 pm . Check in procedure was very much delayed, more than 1 hr I had waited in the lobby to get my room. My room was booked well in advance by the agent. This made me little disappointed.
Rooms are neat and tidy . Rooms service good . Breakfast served in the restaurant in delicious and staffs in the restaurant are really good to fulfil our needs

Heavenly royal heritage since 2001

Heavenly royal heritage since 2001
ITC Sonar Bangla , which aims to be Asia s finest super-deluxe hotel and a pioneering world-class business resort, was formally inaugurated on Dec-2002 by the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee. The former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr. Jyoti Basu, who had laid the foundation stone of the Hotel in January 2001, was the Guest of Honour at the inaugural function. A entire galaxy of state ministers and bureaucrats, an array of distinguished invitees, senior ITC managers and the media witnessed the inauguration.

Was built at an estimated cost of Rs 240 crores, initially the hotel had 240 super deluxe rooms. The Hotel s infrastructure was capable of supporting more additional rooms. Keeping its corporate finger on the market pulse, ITC added more rooms and augment conference facilities as demand inevitably picks up with India s increased participation in global trade and Kolkata s evolution as the Gateway to the East

I attended a business product launch here, and was very disappointed with the service as well as food.
It is projected as a 7 star hotel, but it hardly lives upto the mark. Waited for 5 hours to get a room which was pre booked on my name, kept waiting and then left without checking in. They didn't even have a good coffee.
Utterly disappointed.
