What can say about it...it's a expensive hotel and very clean every where. .not for fun at all..it's all about a forward think

A bit of a stepchild right now ... While the work on the new massive wing is being done. Food is good ... Has always been. Service has slipped over the years with smart mouthed waiters and captains...and a very slow service... especially breakfast. Mosquitoes are a problem....Some rooms show their date... Housekeeping is a professional lot...they do their work diligently. The basic problem seems....."being a smartass" - right from the reception staff to the captains in the restorants...pity used to be such a great place. I suspect someone...right at the top....is not a capable manager....

Location. Extremely poor, difficult to reach
Parking. Self parking poorly lit dim shabby parking lacks assistance and light
Not suitable for senior citizens.
Staff. Arrogant and unprofessional. Refuses to speak in Bengali. Misguide guests.

Peshawari restaurant. At the basement, clumsy, shabby place. Stools are there to sit which are very uncomfortable. Especially for senior citizens.

No social distance is maintained.

No guests are wearing masks, and hotel staff are ignoring people roaming without masks.

Unsafe during Covid 19 situation.

No forks, spoons and tissues on the table, staff refuse to supply those on request.

Food. Uncooked raw food served. Staff turned deaf ear.

Extremely overpr for what we get.

Conclusion. Bengalis are treated poorly.
Bad food.
Rude uncivilized staff
Absolutely no guidance to reach restaurant.

The serenity and calm that surrounds ITC Sonar is unmatched.

It s like a total rejuvenation to the body and mind!

Traditional luxury hotel in Kolkata. It's very traditional.

The place is really posh . Smells great. Looks like a palace. Wish I could live there for free. The food was great. Love the vibes. Great place. Lovely interiors too.

Good hygiene and cleanliness maintained, overall great experience and comfort provided

I went there as an casual staff to work there for 1 day in a wedding, I noticed while guest sides are shining clean, staff areas are super dirty with rats running around & rotten smell floating all over. Staff toilets are more dirty than the public toilets in streets.

Literally like it says, we were spoilt by the hospitality of ITC. The stay couldn't have been any better, food, hygiene, the property and the hospitality/service. The Housekeeping team especially made sure we got anything we asked for, with happiness and warmth. Cheers!!

Morning B'fast was not really appreciable as maximum options were only bakery items and cakes. If you need South Indian items (Limited options) one need to order from your table and waiting time is more. Sweets are rarely seen in morning b'fast.
Room was little bit small but for amenities available inside the room is thumps-up. Price not justifiable.

Improvement required in the management of the hotel, specially in the dining section. Insufficient quantity of food, as per the number of invitees. (Even in the prestigious event like INFOCOM)

The hotel is fully green hotel and and beautiful hotel and also service is very good service and also staff is very carefully and also in this pandemic situation ITC meaning all hygiene and precaution of covid-19 so that's why this hotel is very very very good hotel.

Just love the feel here. The central water body is well maintained and looks stunning. Executive lounge is way below standard though.

I had come to visit Peshawari since its the only restaurant open right now in Sonar , the quality of food is wonderful , i loved having the dal Bhukhara .. People were really good specially the GRE s Muskan Anisha ,Shilpi And Shagufta who gave us a warm welcome took us to the interconnected property . Will love to go for the packages that one of them
