I visited for an IT event on Connected Bengal. The central ball room is very well maintained. The facilities, acoustic and lighting are top notch as is expected of ITC Sonar.
There is a well managed reception who do an efficient job of managing the guests. Always smiling!!

I had the opportunity to visit a Bussiness Icon who was staying at the Sonar Bangla some time back.
Ms. S.Bose, who I believe was the GRE at that time, really went beyond her call of duty to ensure my meeting was successful. Also she adviced the guest about places of Tourist Interest in Bengal, helped us find a local store for a particular Laptop charger and ensured he carried back our authentic Bengali sweets....
In a competitive market it's front end people like Ms.Bose who create Brand differentiation and truly make ITC Hotels the preferred destination for Business Travellers.

It was a family dinner to celebrate special occasion at Peshawari .Food & Service without saying was great .Special thanks to Shantanu as he was taking care of our table & thanks to Chef too as he personally came across & took the feedback about our overall experience.Moreover thanks for the wonderful cake & birthday goody .
You may wonder Y 3star then? We came through ITC Royal for obvious reasons bcz its been the talk of the town .
There was no escorting at all & neither proper guidance .Thanks to signages we made it through. Moreover it was not only us who were clueless while on the way back we meet another family who where completely clueless like us as how to make it through the restaurant & I explained them how to get there .
At Sonar I approached the Lady sitting on DM s desk & she simply showed sign language.Moreover the entire hotel was not at all busy .
Arrival experience to the property has been very poor & that s all in nutshell .
Was there for a conference, nice big Hall, good arrangement

Not as good as other ITC properties, but nevertheless had a decent stay.

Had Dinner at Dumpakht restaurant,it was superb.its an Indian restaurant
Great rooms, Kashmari restaurant is well worth trying, shame there are lots of mosquitoes around.
I have been staying in this hotel since many years just to enjoy the professionalism of all the staff who work here . They are exceptional and very much caring . When I come back to the hotel after a hectic schedule of my office tour , I really feel I am at home .
I would like to personally congratulate and thank Swarnali, Saumya, Subham whom I feel are the real asset to this group. They made my stay memorable and really cherishing.
Last but not the least, will like to add all three of them are great marketeers and are attentive to each and every tiny detail. Kudos to them!
