Beautiful interiors and spacious. Intriguing plce to stay up

The ambiance, property, lake, food, comfort, service...... all were top notch. Loved the complimentary lounge access and as part of turndown service the special hot chocolate for a good night's sleep.

Awesome stay. Amazing service. They made us some amazing steamed rice and paneer butter masala even in the middle of the night. Everything was perfect.

Visit there to attend an award show organized by ZEE 24 Ghanta. Academic Excellence Award 2018. Environment was awesome. Well decorated lobby and rooms. Food was excellent.

ITC Sonar used to be a top notch hotel in Kolkota. With the new ITC next to Sonar, the quality of service has dramatically fallen. Recently while on a business stay in the hotel I noticed the difference. Breakfast area was a mess. Patrons staying at the hotel had to go thru security after having breakfast. Quality of breakfast has also deteriorated. There was a party going on till late night and when complained to the front desk the response was that they can change my room. Only when threatened to call the cops (it is illegal for loud music after 10.00 PM), did they comply to talk to the guests and lower the volume so that we didn't feel like sleeping in disco. Not only were they inconsiderate but their solution was ridiculous.

The ITC Sonar is a luxury hotel offering all that it should. I dropped here for a conference. It has huge capacity for corporates but I don't think anyone pays from their own pocket to stay here. The luxury suite I heard comes at Rs 22,000 per night!

Resort style business hotel conveniently located on the main airport-city road. Decent place.

The best 5 star experience. No feel of a government set up..

Ambience is great. Sprawling compound which in a crowded city gives a great feeling of openness. Food at dum pukht and pan Asia are some of best I have had. And if you are there, don't forget to feed the hundred plus 2 feet long carps!!!!

Visiting India for the 1st time and ITC served as a good starting point. Had wonderful stay here. Overall ambience and quality were superb with impeccable service to boot. The room assigned to me was very decent in size and cleanliness. Only downside was the scaffolding reacted outside the window, so had to keep the curtains drawn to prevent the workers from looking in. Food quality served at the restaurants were brilliant. I must say its another level up compared to the standard fares I get back home ( S'pore). Savoured all the Indian food with gusto over my 2 days stay. Highly recommended.

Although the visit was primarily business, but the delicious food at Coffee Shop, Green aqua ponds, red fishes in the ponds, & overall good hospitality made the day vibrant!!

This is a perfect place to stay in Kolkata. Rooms are spacious and with all upscale amenities. Restaurants and breakfast are good. Choice of cuisine between restaurants is available. Wjfj is very good. Fitness centre and pool are very good too

Clean, comfortable hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, amenities. Fast WiFi, great gym, huge pool, a great breakfast buffet, bar/lounge and connects via hallway to the even more opulent ITC Royal Bengal. Would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Calcutta,
