Excellent hotel. Luxurious. There was a small delay during the check-in but it was it was sorted soon. The breakfast spread was ok. The ambience of the hotel is very good. We stayed in #1505 which was facing the royal bengal entrance and their fountains.

5 star category property at EM Byepass Saltlake. Professional manpower having good ethic are always ready to welcome you.

Had an amazing stay at the ITC Sonar in February this year. Love this property where you can unwind after a busy day's work in the lush greens and the water bodies and flowers and fishes. The rooms are spacious and specially the shower area which is otherwise precarious for other hotels. Special mention for Tumasp, Kunju, Swarnali, Varsha Nebhnani and Purvie for their genuine warmth and customer focus....it is because of them that coming back to this property time and again is such a pleasure.

Look forward to returning once the quarantine period is over

It was a lovely experience. The food at the PanAsian section was perfect. We were guided by a gentleman named Kunal. He was very helpful and courteous. He infact helped us decide what should we exactly order and we did so and didn't perish it.

Nice hotel, very comfortable beds and lovely food. Probably one of the best dining experiences I have had across all the 5 star hotels I have been to in the country. A little pricey food but worth the money.

ITC Sonar is the best 5* hotel in Kolkatta. It is a household name in luxury here. Everyone knows ITC and its hospitality. Its no compromise luxury and services prioritising guest care always. They have the best industry staffs.

Spacious clean rooms. Very cordial staff. They even sent a complimentary cake to the room when they learnt about our marriage.

The food was fantastic and Mr.Shantanu s service was very good.

Feels like you are not in the city.. a retreat away home the hustle & bustle...

Well what to say about a 5 star hotel and that too a renowned brand like ITC!
It's a luxurious hotel with almost all 5 star amenities. The rooms are very nice and the staff is very courteous. You can rarely find a flaw in a 5 star hotel as always strive to be the best than the others. This hotel is situated in a very posh locality of kolkata and easily accessible.

Well I am not too impressed by the service rendered by the establishment. The food is of so so kind. Nothing too great. The location of this place is so off beat. Who would have imagined that a place once famous for tanneries will come up with an ITC Sonar. I guess more surprises are bound to come.

Lovely place in a calm and quiet neighborhood, away from the city hustle bustle. Spread horizontally, so lots of walking spaces. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious with modern amenities. Food is good and prompt room services.

I tried the dinner buffet. There are a variety of items to choose from, especially the dessert section which has a WIDE number o choices. There were not many options for starters though, but a whole lot to choose from in main course and dessert. Table booking highly recommended.

Very bad experience..we went there to enquire about the availability of the banquet for a programme. They were too rude to talk. They seemed uninterested in sharing any details about our enquiry. Had a similar type of experience in grand also. Being a reputed hotel they should hire well mannered staff who at least know how to greet their guests. Too much disappointed.

This a huge property with all the amenities & facilites. Good food & good services.

Try their in-house restaurants, specially dum pukt.
