The bridge is magnificent and we walked across the bridge during the sunset hours. Although, the bridge was full of people but we still enjoyed the walk.

View is spectacular it was raining on our visit so that messed it up a bit but still beautiful

The bridge itself is so mind blowing once you get on it. It is huge! It is a nice walk from one side of the bridge to the other so if you are planning on walking/running it I would recommend a good pair of shoes.

The bridge is beautiful however only when the weather is nice. Also since it is such a large tourist attraction it is very busy and difficult to navigate and enjoy at the same time. However it is definitely a must see in California. An attraction the whole family will love as long as you are not afraid of heights.

It s always fun to be on the bridge. The clouds, the view, you have to be there to experience it

Loved it because it was the Golden Gate Bridge lol! First time seeing it takes your breath away. There was a lot of people there, but it was also labor day weekend. We had to park in over flow parking which was nice cause the walk was beautiful and the parking was FREE. If you're coming from a small town, there is a lot of bike riders and they basically "own" the road/paths so beware (hear a bell move over lol) Beware, this is a huge tourist sight (I'm one of them ) and you have no clue what people will do to get THEIR photo. People can be so rude and no offense but I see it more in people who are not from the USA which is sad.

I went there around noon and the view was just...(no word to explain!). I went back in the evening the fog was slowly coming down the mountain and covering the bridge. It was amazing, you can see the fog moving! But once you cross the bridge back to downtown it was opposite, sunny no fog. I love it!!

Incredible structure. As a visitor it is very impressive. If I lived in the city I'd try to avoid since paying the toll each way would add up quick.

I never understood why coming to the bridge for sightseeing was part of the tour but I must admit it was cool.

It really is as beautiful as everyone says. I walked it from end to end. The views from the bridge of the bay are breathtaking.

Golden Gate Bridge is one of the main attractions for tourists to visit in San Francisco! The bridge is well-built and structured with a red-colored appearance, where the traffic keeps flowing above the bay! Highly recommend visiting this bridge as a first-time visit in San Francisco!

I absolutely LOVE this bridge, it's breathtaking and is synonymous to home for me!! The sad thing is that it is suffering from a certain amount of neglect that hopefully can be rectified when the new bridge fee schedule begins. I feel that anyone who enjoys the bridge should be willing to contribute to it's maintenance and beauty without hesitation (walkers and bikers as well as drivers).

When the fog is gone and the sky is blue, this place is breathtaking.

Took the ferry ride from pier39 it was pretty good day. If you are people of 4 you get discount on the ferry ride ticket, we didn't know but the representative told us(this might be helpful for a group)

Cool experience! Very windy, sort of chilly. Make sure you have some outerwear (gloves are a good idea). The gift shop sold some nice options.

A beautiful bridge, and a must-see tourist attraction. You can rent bikes and bike across the bridge, however when I did that, it was extremely windy and to be honest quite scary. So, I recommend driving across the bridge, or finding a vantage point and observing the bridge.

The first day we went here it was extremely foggy and you couldn't even see the bridge. We went the next day and it wasn't foggy at all and it looked absolutely stunning. To avoid disappointment go on google and look up "Golden Gate Bridge Fog Cam" and it will show you a live photo/video of how much fog is on the bridge. I would go back to the Golden Gate Bridge anyday.

Absolutely breath taking! How majestic the bridge is.

Really fun place to hang out with family and friends. Walking across the bridge is a great experience, too. Seeing one of the most iconic structures on the west coast is very cool.

If you haven't heard of the Golden Gate Bridge, I honestly don't know what to tell you. It's a beautiful landmark to see. You should definitely try to visit the few vista points around the bridge to get different angles and views. Also, check the weather as during the summer the hot air from inland and the cold breeze from the ocean create a lot of fog which can hide a major part of the bridge. Also, it does get extremely windy near the bridge as it's literally next to the ocean so dress accordingly. Other than that, have fun and enjoy one of the bay area's most iconic landmarks.

Awesome art deco bridge. The gateway to the San Francisco Bay Area. Tolls apply most of the time. You can walk across for free. There's a cafe and facilities at the San Francisco end.

Pretty cool spot for some pictures. Take a cruise on Adventure Cat for the full experience under and sunset. Maybe you will spot some whales as well. Its really quite amazing to see This International Orange just blaze through the thick fog. Come and discover this beautiful place.

Nice place to visit in San Francisco, United States

Definetily a must see when in San Francisco parking wasn't so hard to find, but do be aware of the fact that the place is packed! You literally have to take turns with others to take good pics. Aside from that, the place is a marvel of modern architecture.

What a great place to take a vacation and see the historical GGB with wonderful sites for the whole family plan ahead it takes an hour to drive 15 miles but well worth the drive in wonderful Cali traffic

Absolutely phenomenal! One of the greatest, if not the greatest, bridges I have ever seen. It's amazing from every angle and it is definitely worth it to cross it and check out the place at the very end, although renting a bike is a good idea since it is pretty long. Don't forget to check the sea while you are walking in case you see sea lions and whales.

Use to love passing there everyday on the way to work, beautiful.

The best way to experience the Golden gate bridge is by taking a wine tasting boat out and around. This was scheduled as a small reception after a core City Hall wedding, and everyone was having a blast.

I only gave this 3 stars because the crime is out of control, POSs break into vehicle in broad daylight while you try and enjoy yourself. I stayed with my vehicle while my family toured the bridge since there where 2 vehicles with smashed windows by 11am. Glass is all over the parking lot from all the break ins. There needs to be security and toss the POSs off the bridge. Sad

You cannot visit San Francisco without visiting the bridge up close at least once! Worth it! Great view from Chrissy Park and not crowded

The Golden Gate Bridge is super beautiful and if your visiting San Francisco I definitely recommend coming here. (Especially with a sunrise/sunset or going on a boat under the bridge)

Why is it called the Golden great bridge if it is red? Very pleasant surprise for it to be red. Definitely will go back for the great fun.

The bridge looks beautiful and knowing the science will make you like it even more. I walked all the way on the bridge and also took a cruise. In spite of heavy pollution in the air, I liked it because of the view and enormity of the bridge.

I explored this beautiful US landmark on a bicycle. Spectacular! Visitalo!

It was great to hike out onto the Golden gate and see this impressive piece of infrastructure. Parking was easy on the south side. Lots of people around so I recommend getting there early.

Golden Gate looks amazing and it attracts a lot of visitors. However just like any other location in San Francisco area parking is a challenge at best. they need to create a parking structure and make sure people can find it easily that way they can attract more people and people can actually stop by take their pictures buy something to eat increase tourism increase profits.........

It is such a site I m glad I get to see it every so often, every time I m up in the Bay Area I make sure to stop by and take in a moment and admire it.

Simply magical the smell is so natural!! Walking through it is a must!!! Great photo ops!

From a sightseers perspective: Some construction nearby at time of writing, but plenty of parking, easy to get to, some traffic but mostly from actual commuters. Wear comfortable clothes because west of bridge has gravel road.

The walk was amazing! Born and raised in Bay area. Left and came back years later and this was the first time I walked the bridge.

It's an amazing place in San Francisco. The cold breeze from Pacific Ocean over the bridge make us frozen.

The a bike or walk to Sasalito across the Golden Gate. Truly remarkable.

We visited the San Francisco side of the bridge, purchased items from the shop there; the smoke cleared enough to look at the bridge. Great experience for my family.

It is just a beautiful beautiful place. I walked across the entire Bridge. You can park on either side and walk or bike across and back again or else have somebody pick you up on the other side. The only thing I did not like was that we drove across it twice on the weekend and received a bill for the toll of $16. Apparently they take pictures of your license plate :-) however I don't know what place you can have such a beautiful beautiful view of San Francisco and the bridge itself is quite beautiful. The whole Bay Area is just gorgeous.

I didn't expect too much. It is *just* a bridge, but once I got there I found it absolutely enchanting! Gorgeous sight.

Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge was an absolute wonderful and beautiful experience. I wish there would be less tourists because when places like these get overcrowded it takes away half of its beauty and serenity, however still beautiful and fun and I would definitely go again!
