Somewhere someone may want to see. It is an amazing structure.
Somewhere someone may want to see. It is an amazing structure.
Awesome structure and so fun to travel on and under, by boat cruise.
Great memoriws of my little sister walking this with great people.
Love this place forever and ever. Great place to visit and view golden gate bridge.
Passed through the bridge in 2016 while on our move to Washington and it s amazing! The bridge is huge and you can never tell unless you re there how big it actually is! The day we went in March 11, 2016 it was FREEZING! Would love to visit again, some day.
It's a big red bridge! It really is big. My friends and I rented bikes and rode across the bridge. Seems bigger when you ride a bike across it on a bike. It seemed a lot shorter when we drove across in the car. Seriously it was a fun day taking pics around the bridge and crossing it multiple times.
Visited here back in 2006. What a cool bridge. We took these photos from Point Bonita Light Station on the North side of the bridge. Everytime I see this bridge on TV, I can say that I saw it and I remember my visit. I want to go back again. Nice area.
It's nice to go there to have pictures, it's another feeling if you jog on the bridge, Great!
My dream place to be. One of the best iconic places in USA. It has a;ways been my dream to see and take photograph
Loved it!! A must see for all :)
I felt the nostalgia set in as I stood at the golden gate bridge remembering watching it on TV when I watched Full house TV show.
Really good experience. It can be very windy there. Dress properly. Try top ride up to sausalito. It is close and wonderful there no matter what the weather is on SF
We pulled off to the visitor center after the bridge and took pictures. There is a walkway where you can walk underneath the bridge. you can walk alongside the bridge and take more pictures. They charge $8 to cross the bridge going south, which was easy to pay online.
One of iconic bridge In world. Amazing view,
must visit for anyone coming to SF
Date of visit: August 2019.
Ran across this bridge as it seemed appropriate at the time. Karl The Fog made an appearance. I visited quite early in the morning and it wasn't busy. Took a Lyft back to my Airbnb as I didn't fancy the run back. Please to visit. Iconic and historical landmark.
Beautiful place, very windy on the bridge, but amazing spot for photos.
Nice view, can be hard to find parking though. It's also not too crowded and it's definitely designed for tourists
so overrated this is a real pretty boy bridge. If you want to see a real bridge go buy a plane ticket to Ontario and check out the peace bridge
a must
The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the one-mile-wide (1.6 km) strait connecting San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The structure links the American city of San Francisco, California the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County, carrying both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1 across the strait. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers - Wikipedia
The place looks magnificent and has an interesting history!
People usually tend to visit it in the afternoon but mu recommendation would be to visit it during the evening hours when the place is lit and complemented by the cool breeze, that is when it looks like a scene right out of a novel!
Who doesn't want to see the most influential part of the SF skyline
Hold on tight it's going to be a very windy ride but an absolutely amazing feeling.
Very intriguing bridge. Very red. Same as pictures.
I CANT TELL HOW MUCH I LOVE IT JUST LIKE APART OF MU BODY WITH ALOT OF BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES SINCE 1979 IN SANFRANCISCO
I mean its Golden Gate! If you're biking across be careful and know that people aren't the nicest
Marvel of Engineering..A walk through the bridge is a must for the real beauty
Visited on 5th day temp. was perfect and the clear skies was able to snap lot of pics from different elevations of Vista point.
Golden Gate bridge is one of the most iconic places in the world and you will realize that it is so true after seeing the beautiful bridge with your own eyes. There are multiple vista points to see the Golden Gate Bridge and in my personal opinion, the best way is to get to the top of the mountain where you can see both the Bridge and Sunset with the mountains and Pacific coast in the backdrop.
A landmark of the city, which offers unparalleled view.
A travel trip to San Francisco cannot be considered complete without visiting the Golden Gate bridge. It's a truly iconic bridge which seen from any angle and distance gives a great view. Its always windy around the bridge.
We come through here almost every month and living in CA for my whole life has been a priveledge. So many different people wish to come here but its simply unpossible. I am very lucky!!
Great views and easier walk than I expected. Only problem is the noise from cars can get annoying if you walk the whole way. Driving into SF incurs a toll fee. This bridge is an engineering marvel so be sure to visit if travelling to SF.
The experience of Golden gate bridge is awesome. It's a treat to watch the bridge from land and harbour. It's amazing to see and experience the bridge which is almost 90 years old still standing tall. The city view from bridge is also breath taking. There are many points from which the photo of the bridge can be taken.
After a three hours walk from the center of San Francisco - what a rewarding view facing towards the skyline of SF. Just walk up and down some hundred yards on the bridge and enjoy the noise of the cars passing bye. On the way back I took a taxi.
Nice place but you should plan some time if you want to walk across the bridge.
One of California's iconic places there is do much to see here if you have a chance to walk its a good chance to take great panoramic pictures of the city and bay of San Francisco and once on the other side of the bridge you can find souvenirs snd read the story of how the bridge was built
It's very exciting and fun to visit such well known place here in California.
The gate does not disappoint! I've drived, walked, and went under this bridge (by ferry tours). Such a great atmosphere and a beautiful view from top to bottom, close or from far away. The clouds just touch the top points of the bridge. Beautiful. Try taking the ferry tours for a look of the bridge, including right under.
An engineering MARVEL of its time, MAJESTIC till date
Nice Walk on the bridge when the wea there is clear <3
SUICIDAL PEOPLE GO THEREEE NO OFFENSE JUST SAYING FROM WHAT I READ
Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time made me completely star struck. It s definitely an experience.
Amazing view.. Very big bridge.. Clouds and fog are the main problem that may exist
Golden Gate bridge might be the highlight of going to San Francisco. SF is just another big city with too many people. GGB is pretty cool to see in real life, and it's definitely recommended that you go. Ride public transportation to get there quickly and cheaply. Ask any bus driver for directions on which busses to take. Clipper cards work for the vast majority of any public transportation in this bay area, so look into those. If you don't like that, there is an app for the bus company where you can buy an unlimited bus ticket for the day. Definitely worth it to look into that. Pays itself 5 times over.
Beautiful as always. If you visit SF, this is a must see!
Absolutely remarkable place, I strongly recommend it!
It's so nice place to walk n see the ocean. Last year i went n i like it very much
I really like that the bridge is red, it pops out the scene easily. It is often foggy around the area and the fog creates a very special atmosphere which is pretty nice. This is a very famous landmark in the U.S. and it appears in movies very often. But it is kind of hard to park around the area, so make sure you are energetic enough for a nice long walk. Also, it's quite windy, so make sure to bring a jacket along with you.
Totally not worth the effort, sorry but a total waste of time. Could be better if traffic wasn't so bad and signage wasn't so poor. Bi-pass!
101 from Oregan canon beach before Golden Gate its very beautiful winerries garden after Bridge too is the one of the best place about view
Pretty cool. The San Francisco side has a better set up for tourists - gift shops and food.
When driving into San Francisco over the bridge, you will have to pay a toll, but this is done with your plate. Unlike the Bay Bridge, where you pay the toll with cash or another form of payment.
Walking the Golden Gate Bridge is relatively easy and you're able to get a great view of the city. It can get pretty windy on the bridge, so if you're somebody that gets cold real easy, you should take some sort of jacket with you.
The most beautiful bridge I have ever seen Like it so much!
Absolutely a must see. Take the time to get out at the park and hike down to the beach. It's a spectacular view and good exercise too!
One of the most iconic place. There is plenty of space to walk around and enjoy different views of landscape around the bridge. Cycle rental service is also available for cyclists.
An engineering marvel considering when it was built. The bridge itself looks decent, but add to it the view of the ocean and then it looks amazing.
It's pretty much everything you'd expect. I think I felt like it was larger in person.
Like seeing a picture post card cone to life. One of those places you'll never forget
What a spectacle! We walked over and back again and really enjoyed it. The views were amazing with no charge to cross over. It gets a little busy with all of the human traffic, but great to see SF from the outside. Nice cafe and information leading up to it also.
One word Outstanding!!! We lucked out and went on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 3 and had absolutely no traffic driving on and off the bridge. The vista point offers amazing views of the bridge, Alcatraz as well as the city. The vista points are very easy to spot and parking is free and there are rest rooms there as well.
The views here are always stunning. 5/5 please walk over the bridge if you are visiting.
Purely breathtaking! The views of the City and the Bay Area are fantastic!
Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the view. If the weather is nice it is worth hiking down to one of the beaches where you can see the bridge from. It's a 20min hike but we'll worth it!
You have seen it in the movies music videos and on the tv. But nothing prepares you for when you see it the first time in person with your own eyes. Walk it photograph it or just look at it ,you'll love it. Take the mumi 28 bus there. See the ships pass under or the sun set.enjoy
Wow what a place! If you want to have the best view you need to wait. The bridge is very busy lot's of traffic so take a Lyft or Uber but if you are on a rental like me be very patience you might get lucky.
Spectacular views! A must see if you are in California!
Just a beautiful day on the Golden Gate. It helps to have a car that drives itself
Must visit if you are in Sanfrancisco. Views from here are incredible. Don't leave your valuables in cars. Smash and grab is big problem here.
