Never have I experienced so cluttered a room ... t...

Never have I experienced so cluttered a room ... totally disgusting. The pool area for the mob was so dirty that it was probably harmful to stay there for a long time. However, it turned out that the hotel is divided into two classes. so we had to upgrade ourselves to a suite to find a place that didn't do us any harm. However, they demanded extra DKK 1500 per day in addition to the already 1500 DKK we have already paid per day. But then we also had free access to the upper pool. That is just when it suits the hotel to shut down the entire pool area for the benefit of outsiders who can obviously rent the pool area for private events. (by no means ok when paying the seagull out of the pants to be there.
So that is only on floors 17 and 18 that there is a 5 star experience. The rest of the hotel I would categorize to an absolute maximum of 2 stars. (etc. from someone who tried both concepts)

Hotel located in the entertainment district. Rooms large and comfortable, however, the whole hotel needs renovation. With the cleaning of the object, very weakly. The pool located inside the hotel does not encourage long stays. It is not very clean there. The hotel in my opinion is not suitable for a longer stay. I do not recommend

I sometimes wonder what to write I do not know when something is close to perfect, we want to complain about the crumbs, the segnetto, the door that maybe we do not like? Do we have to find something? Unfortunately and in our DNA. I say only a compliment to all the staff who daily strives to maintain a high level of the structure, the rest go and enjoy a pleasant stay and all the beauties of Malta . This time I let the photos speak

Really enjoyed our stay! The amenities and the staff were great, the rooms were spacious and neat. After our long days out, we enjoyed using both indoor and outdoor pools. I recommend having breakfast at the hotel.

The hotel was very good but the experience i have with the reception the day i arrive to the hotel was very bad for your hotel. The man in the reception at 29 of september blocked more money from that i have to pay and blocked two different amount two times. I stay in malta without money in my card and unblocked my money 10 days after i come back in my country. This make me very angry and sad for a hotel of this class.

It is reported as a luxury hotel, but luxury is not known exactly where it is ... meeting rooms with glacial temperature, dark and poorly lit, dining rooms unsuitable for large numbers of people, really low level food, dirty bathrooms and clogged.

1 star is very good compared to the disastrous food served (lucky there was at least 1 thing we requested on the menu) no seafood available just burgers, wraps and salads. Which the salads were terrible (how can you even get that wrong?) don t waste your money or time at this place.

Very old building and furniture, even the rooms smell old. I have been a loyal IHG client and a Spire Elite member for quite some time now and this is by far the worst I have seen in this chain. It doesn t meet the Intercontinental standards and obviously not a 5*. Don t book. There is plenty of better options around it.

Mold in the rooms. Loud music until 6am. Water from the shower sometimes hot, sometimes cold. Incineration included. Staff nice. Therefore 1 star. This hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars. Definitely avoid if you want to relax. Only party people would feel comfortable here. But then book without breakfast. 10:30 a.m. the buffet is dismantled.

Wonderful 5 star chain hotel. Rooms were clean, new towels given each day, and the hotel itself is situated in a convenient location. But beware, the humidity in the air causes condensation around the AC, which causes water to drip below.

Great hotel but didn't feel the initial check in was up to scratch
The receptionist was obviously quite new, didn't know how to cope, couldn't give us information about the restaurants in the hotel and was a bit glum. Couldn't seem to find a smile.
The two restaurants we've been in so far in the hotel are good, the Waterbiscuit a la carte particularly good. Excellent service and really good food. Garden restaurant also good.

Luxury, cleanliness at best and very polite/courteous staff. Excellently located in the hub of Malta's entertainment capital. Rooms very spacious, public areas huge, impeccably and Spotless. Skypool area: absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended

Great service, as per InterContinental standards would say. The Hotel is located in the busiest turistic area but it is quiet. Kids area when you can drop them till 8pm allowing parents to have a drink or early dinner. Also seems a great option for conferences. It also includes a beach club, 100m away from the main entrance.

I had a great time.
The hotel is very nice the rooms are comfortable and spacious only negative note the bathrooms are old and the tiles badly gone. You eat divinely at the hotel restaurant and There is Kristina who is the best waitress that I have known.the staff always attentive to your needs and available. The sea leaves a lot to be desired even if it is two minutes away, you have to move from San Julian to find a better but not beautiful sea the only beautiful place is the blue lagoon. This implies costs so I recommend downloading a Bolt app it costs 4 euros plus flat fee 1 euro per km excellent !
The beach staff is also available!
As a stay I recommend a maximum of 7 days!

Good and cozy hotel, nice staff and friendly friendly and professional staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Two problems in the room: There are 4 pillows per bed, the most soft, you put your head on 2 pillows, and it sinks down to the mattress. Why are there no more difficult and comfortable cushions? It is not clear. Another thing: missing her hand, or Pritzer washing and cleaning her ass. I'm very surprised at that. I was in a 3-4 star hotel where there was a sprinkler in the bathroom. Food in the morning, buffet and a large selection tasty and satisfying. The hotel's basement has a Malta casino. We did not go in. A good and pleasant hotel close to bus lines and the beach.

Good service, never had to wait long for any request. The rooms are spacious compared to competition, good kept but need an update. Overall a good place to stay. The Waterbisquit restaurant is always a good place to head in.

In normal plant is not a 5 star. I requested an upgrade because the standard room was old and poorly maintained. With the "ascent" to the executive floor and being able to use the executive room much better, of course, that always with a previous payment of another 70 per night.

Friendly good service. Not a brand new house anymore. Nice pool terrace. On the 10th floor. Rooms smell a bit. Breakfast always the same.
Currently construction work is not so bad because here in St. Julians it is always hallas anyway. How ballermann.

I have to thank that despite the personal tragedy for which almost all the staff of the Intercontinental Hotel seemed to be having a more or less pleasant stay.
I think it has a rating that does not correspond to reality. One thing is certain, the Intercontinental Hotel would not pass the assessment of my mother-in-law.
Impact drills at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Doors and windows that do not close. Neglected gardens. Facilities with lack of cleanliness and dangerous.
An excess of personnel badly located or employed: 45 minutes of waiting for hamburgers and chips at noon and the very hot white wine does not seem appropriate when it is available to the naked eye of about ten waiters and three cooks to serve about 12 tables of four people.

Nice place, maybe not quite the 5 star rating it has, needs a few tweeks to bring it back up again, but overall OK. Room was good size, but chipped floor tiles and bit of mouldy grout in shower needed attention.

The basic rooms could have been more modern, and did not like tiles on the floor. You have to have rooms from the 15th floor. I have been to better Four stars hotels. But the rest of the building , is posh. The breakfast prefect, looks like dynasty. But I do like a better room.

I am sorry for this hotel which promised so well but was very disappointing. Almost absent and indifferent staff who should deal with customer management. Bedrooms not up to 5 stars but 4 stars. Bathrooms and showers ok apart from cleaning the shower cubicles. Excellent courtesy kit.
The Spa was very nice even if during our stay the turkish bath was not in operation and the sauna did not reach temperature.
Excellent and well-assorted breakfast.
Very courteous breakfast staff.
Nice casino.
We were told that there are no triples in Malta but they sell them online and then give you a double with an added camping cot.
We changed rooms and unfortunately waited almost 4 hours from check in.
Received for the apology a bottle of local red wine, a pear and an apple.

Hotel in direct proximity of the bay/beach and located in an area full of restaurants, bars and evening establishments. Rooms are available aplenty, but the costs per night do not amount to the missing quality/tidiness of the rooms, breakfast and service.
