Whilst situated in a very busy area, the hotel was superb. The Waterbiscuit restaurant was a good place to relax with a drink or a lovely plate of food. The outdoor pool area on the 10th floor is a great place to relax with a pool bar and restaurant serving excellent quick lunches. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and do their best to make your stay memorable. Rooms are well soundproofed so any noise outside doesn't impact on your room or hotel facilities

I was stay there last week in a Room that was just renovated. Congrats the have managed to turn a 5 star hotel int an average 3 star . The bathroom renovation the worst I am guessing the manager is to important to check the work . From Wednesday morning to Friday morning no problem then Saturday morning 7.30 am they started using kango hammer .???
The breakfast just about warm and using inferior products . I presume cost cutting. Interesting question you get a leaflet in your room about been green trying to get you not to use the towels I think it s more about saving costs . Maybe it s better to say if you use less towels you will get a discount. Enjoy the photos

Nice hotel, location in the nightlife, nice staff. But the hotel rooms were very damp, so clothes were always wet and did not smell fresh. All many throat complaints.
Many defects such as a non-working toilet, cold / hot water, etc.
Bad service; continuous stuff for three people while we were four. Often having to ask things a number of times and then still get the wrong thing (food by the pool, room service, towels, etc.)
Use of a minibar; if you lift something for 15 seconds, it will be charged immediately.
Super nice roof bar but this is only per payment (minus 60 euros pp) or when you have the most expensive room.

It's a terrible Place with rude staff. Rooms are nice but expensive and the staff isn't very friendly.

Two Days in a row we were waiting more than 20 minutes for a espresso at breakfast and we are a couple, but we had to sit on a big table with strangers for breakfast, becauce it was very busy. Absolutely no good holiday feeling.

At night it's very loud outside, becauce it's the party area in Malta. Lot's of drunken tourists. It's not a fail from the hotel and doesn't matter for my rating, but maybe good to know.

Located in the busy heart of St Julien's, with boisterous night life, shopping mall and restaurants at your doorstep, it may not suit you if you are looking for peace and quiet.
The rooms are arranged like a block of flats in a council house with small balconies overlooking each other. There is no worthwhile view at all from the balconies. You have to pay a premium for Highland Suites on the top floors to obtain some semblance of privacy.
The reception desk is impersonal, but concierge is helpful.
The housekeeping is pathetic - tea/coffee, toiletries and towels will not be replaced until you actually call reception and ask for it !!
Breakfast is standard with a good egg and pancake counter.
Rooms are slightly bigger than the Holiday Inn, with standard facilities. Toilet has bath and shower but there is water all over the toilet floor if you use the shower because the water-sealing of the door is leaky !
Overall, definitely not a 5 star experience. You might as well stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door for much less, or go to the Westin Dragonara or Hilton for a 5 star experience.

It's nice buuut if you really want to go to the beach, which was also ok, you're better of going to Radison Blu or Corinthia.
The food was good(we only had breakfast) and there are 19 floors with different things on each level. There are 2 pools, but only one is free, but it's the one you should go to. The other one is at level 19 and it's really scary for someone who is afraid of heights. The entrance cost is 60 i think and it had lots of beds.
The rooms are nice and clean, but some of our friends had a smell of mold in their room.

Luxury hotel, located in the most modern part of S. Julian, equipped with all the comforts, Casino and SPA included, with three swimming pools, one indoor on the same level as the SPA, and two outdoors, including the Sky Pool at the 19th floor dominates the landscape. Excellent breakfast at the Harruba where a continental and traditional breakfast is served, with very fresh and tasty food; lunch and dinner served in 6 restaurants, one of which, the Paranga, by the sea, where various dishes of excellent quality fish are served. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Prices in line with the services offered requested. The only negative note is the private beach, obtained from a small cove, not very spacious and with many motorboats parked a few meters from the shore.

Almost everything costs extra. Even the pool on the roof has to be paid extra. You have to do without the 5 star luxury you are used to in Germany. It is more like a 4 star standard hotel. The staff, on the other hand, is very polite and helpful

One of the best hotels in Malta. To access the pool and the cloud terrace you need to either pay or to have a superior room. Very close to the beach and the bay and also positioned in a very lively area. I do not recommend this hotel or area if you want to be somewhere like a country side or quiet.

Friendly, attentive and polite staff. A nice hotel with modern finishes and always clean. Right next to the beach with their own private section as well, although cramped as they try to fit a lot of beds into one small area.
Infinity pool on the roof is free for those in suites but open to everyone else with a "60 Euro minimum spend" on snacks and drinks per person if you wish to spend a day up there.
Excellent food at the Waterbiscuit restaurant. Fine dining food at a fairly reasonable price.

Impeccable service, nice upgrade, extra goodies, slippers and bathrobes. TV accepts HDMI, relaxing balcony, but beware, Malta is constantly under construction. Jackhammers everywhere, but you shut the double glazed balcony doors and it's peaceful. They brought me a fan because there's no AC in the off-season which is environmentally friendly and I respect that, but I run hot and have to have a quiet room for work so I couldn't open the balcony door to let the breeze in. But a lovely hotel and amazing staff.

Luxury HOTEL, very competent staff, speaking several languages including French too, but clean, humid, odorous, dilapidated establishment and especially room 618 where we could not sleep for 4 days because nightclub right next door and wall no soundproofing from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the first night and 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for the other days, hellish noise we could dance!
signaled in reception LA "not understand French"
Happy to come home to sleep in a non-luxurious house but sleep !!
To be sure: plasterboard with glass wool might do the trick ...

Great hotel, but needs serious refurbishment. The location in StJulien is noicy, so is some of the aircon fans in the hotel. The biggest surprise was the waterbiscuit bar and restaurant that had great GT and good food

Spacious, clean and well equipped room.

Spacious, clean and well equipped room.
Average food although varied.
3 swimming pools including 1 indoor with hammam and sauna.
The big negative point is the elevators !!! They are slow but most of all they don't always stop. It is therefore complicated to take 1.
The private beach is good but it is not very clean.
Finally, the neighborhood is very lively, perhaps too much! Lots of bars and nightclubs.
Let's be honest, the area is ugly but we are 15 minutes from Valetta.
Don't be fooled by the taxi, it's 15 no more.

We booked a room for 3, it was a double with normal beds, not a square and a half. When we complained after talking with several people, they put up a cot
Spa baths, showers, no soap
Too bad The cost was 4 stars ???
