It has goose feather pillows they are bad in every way the room service is very poor they have almost no Spanish speaking people the average breakfasts for being a 5 star has quite a few deficiencies the water when you shower varies in temperature constantly or burns you or it comes out cold, on the other hand the casino is fine and the people who work there give good service !!!

Very friendly and flexible staff. Today I was late and I literally walked in at 10:30 am when the breakfast buffet was closing. No dirty looks, just friendly smiles and I was even offered coffee or tea. I promise I will be on time tomorrow

My company hosted a group of 60 people here. We stayed for multiple nights and we were not impressed with the service and upkeep of this hotel. The beds were comfortable but multiple rooms had a number of issues ranging from windows that whistled when the window blew to broken showers, maid service at 4 in the afternoon, keys that randomly stopped working (one person's key had to be reset six times) and many other small, annoying things that happened to numerous guests. It is a nice property but the staff and the upkeep are lacking for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel in the middle of the St. Julian's party zone...

Hotel in the middle of the St. Julian's party zone and surrounded by construction sites!

In the entrance area, the hotel makes a very neat, modern and high-quality impression - but when I was shown to my room, the blow hit me. Very old furniture, which "back then" was certainly of high quality, but has now served its purpose. Everything seems a bit dirty and worn, not nearly on a 5 star level. (The photos that you can find on google have absolutely nothing to do with the actual appearance of the normal rooms. I had an upgrade, but even then the room wasn't up to five stars).
When I then opened the patio door, the next blow hit me. A loud diesel engine hums from the neighboring building, very loud construction work was taking place immediately next door (jackhammer) and at night the construction site noise was replaced by loud music and the roar of the party guests.

The complex itself makes a good impression, but everything is getting a bit old. The pool area is very nicely located, with a small view of the sea. But here too: construction site and street noise.

The breakfast could be described as a normal hotel breakfast, but what is special is that you can have pancakes and waffles prepared. Unfortunately, you can't look outside, which is a bit sad when the weather is nice.

But what I liked best was the staff, I really can't fault that. Always friendly and very hard-working, it gives the impression that the staff really enjoy working with the guest. That's why I give the 2 stars because the staff does a really great job!

In summary, I can say that this hotel has absolutely nothing to do with a relaxing holiday, but if you like to party non-stop and are satisfied with the background noise and a rather sparse interior, it is definitely the right thing for you.
It's a shame as the staff were so nice, but I'll never be there again.

Room dirty, smell of closed, unhelpful staff, this mini-stay was mediocre. The view is on a noisy and dirty street. It does not have a sea view. We had to leave the hotel despite our reservation and change hotel the next day.

Great hotel location and many benefits.

Great hotel location and many benefits.
The hotel has its own sandy beach (a rarity in Malta), 2 outdoor and 1 indoor swimming pools, spa, several saunas and so on.
There are restaurants, clubs and bars around the hotel, but at the same time the rooms have excellent soundproofing, so peace of mind is guaranteed.
Inside a big casino.
Staff helpful and unobtrusive.

This is an excellent hotel in the heart of Bennett Gillian's city center.
We are a family with two children and the North has met all our expectations. Although these are not luxury rooms but for us they were definitely satisfying. The breakfast at the hotel is very varied and very satisfying. We were on a bed and breakfast basis. However, an additional meal can be purchased at a nominal fee (about 30 euros per person and the children are free) at the hotel. We chose dinner at the hotel restaurant and the menu changed every day and we always found what to order.
The hotel has two main pools. Externally and internally. We found both satisfactory above and beyond our expectation. There is an additional pool for a fee and unlike the other two is not open to children.

The rooms are equipped with everything needed. Hair pen and safe. TV and minibar. In addition, an ironing board and an iron for testing shoes and more.

The maid staff left our children on their beds surprises that would make them very happy.

The staff at the hotel are very kind and polite.

Highly recommend the hotel.

A very pampering hotel. clean rooms. Shower and bath with all the pastilles..Comfortable bed Everything is perfect.
Breakfast invested and varied - there is everything and in good taste.
The hotel has a pool and gym and spa. The spa is a bit expensive and can be found cheaper outside the hotel.
Located in a central area near cafes and bars.
In short - a great hotel !!!
recommended!

Huge luxury hotel and really cheap in December the room is luxurious and the bathroom too, there is an indoor pool and a gym very large and free really well equipped. We join the capital with walking or bus but it's worth it because the ride is great. Also the breakfast in the room is excellent

Rooms are terrible and the supposed renovation is more Public Relations, online, than in real life. Also, they claim they have their own beach.

That's not true. The beach is shared with other properties and is not exactly private. Also, very early, around 6p, the beach opens up as there is a restaurant that uses it. We went to the beach to find people using it who were not affiliated with any hotel...Its also...a man made beach.

Malta, especially the touristy St John's, is a rip off central.

This property's staff will always check you in to the worst room, fight back and return to the desk when you get checked in. If you wish to prepay for breakfast, don't. Weak coffee, weak lattes, cold hot plate food and terrible service

I suggest you go to the SPG property down the way.

Thanks for the macaroons to welcome us to the room but ants were hiding under them. We didn't try them but the ants seemed to like them because we found about 10 ants wandering in the room over 3 days.
It was cool to have a speaker for the TV in washroom.
The water temperature in the shower didn't stay constant, every minute it would turn to very hot and then change back to normal after a few seconds.
The bottom of the shower filled up quickly with water.
Beds were comfy. The bath tub was good.
The gym is huge with lots of different machines.
Hotel is nice but many of the cool amenities like the roof pool bar were closed, also the outdoor "heated" pools were very cold, like lake/sea cold (stayed in early November).
I stayed here for a conference and one of the small rooms had a very loud hum from some nearby machines.
Update: They gave a 40 discount when I told them about the issues.

Great breakfast, nice lobby and room. Pool was disgusting. Had great service at the beach but the restaurants were all godawfully slow. Price was great though at 99 euros. Wasn't quite intercontinental standards but would stay there again. Right next to Mega party alley if you're into that. Doesn't bother you though if you're not.

This is a response to the response from the hotel. Just the opposite actually, my experience with the hotel was great. You have WONDERFUL staff and your rooftop bar was AWESOME and the food was delicious. The property has some quirks with elevators at busy times and it was a busy conference. The property itself in my estimation is more for the three stars with odd floors and walkways and very very congested elevators. The staff and view receive 5 Stars. Your team made my visit there great. But as a businessperson spending a lot of money I am giving you my honest opinion based upon other Intercons and parallel properties. Thanks for the response.
