This hotel is amazing whilst attending events at the JAVITS Centre - very easy walk to and from that location. I have stayed here on multiple occasions and feel that the level of service + the restaurant + the roof top terrace + the central location to the JAVITS centre were perfect for my requirements. Will definitely stay again. Thank you

Very contemporary and classy, slightly trendy crowd. Great views from the rooftop lounge and perfect for conversations. I'd you get hungry your best bet is the restaurant in the lobby, their food was pretty good and the decor was contemporary with cozy niches

We stay here quite frequently as of recent and have been pleased. It's pet friendly, clean and the price point is right on. One improvement would be to have a decent sized grass or gravel area to take the pets to.

Nice staff, good location, well appointed rooms with high ceilings, not much available workspace if you're here for business (rooftop is closed until 5pm). Would stay again if on vacation.

Lovely design hotel, but without the friendly welcoming and caring staff we usually experience at Kimpton hotels. Nothing is ever perfect, but a smile goes a long way. Very comfortable bed and we highly recommend getting a room with river and skyline views. Breakfast at PRINT featured a very tasty yoghurt.

Excellent front desk offering local eateries, clean rooms and we were provided a beautiful corner room on 15th floor with West, North and Eastern views of the city and Hudson river. Highly recommended

Found street parking since we were only staying a night, even though they have valet parking. Waited a bit to be checked in. It's a bit odd sleeping with the bed facing the door. We had food delivered and it was weird being on the bed while hubby opened the door to get the food.

Tip if you have kids: Be careful of the table since the glass isn't secured and can easily be pushed off.

We checked in about 2PM. We were given room 1017. We open the curtains and there was a water tank in the view from our window. How lovely. We rush to my doctor appointment at 3:30 and made on time . Wonderful news that I didn't need hip replacement. We took a cab to 99 street on Broadway to get a pair of glasses at Cohen's Fashion Optical. We took a cab back to the hotel and got free wine. At about 6 PM we decided to eat at Print. Food was good and service excellent. Tommorow we checked out and go home.

I stay here for business a couple times a year. Nice, contemporary decor. Clean. Courteous, professional service. Kind of snobby vibe. They usurp one elevator every night to cater to their rooftop bar. Sucks when you just want to get back to your room and you have to wait twenty minutes for an elevator. If you want quiet, see if you can get a room on the river side of the building. City side is noisy.

Room was spacious. Very clean and organized. Bathtub was really nice as well. However if you are paying for the view. Do not. I wish it would have been more clear that the room that we reserved online would not have one. The premier king studio. It says nothing on their website or even google, that construction was being done across the building. It just feels like we paid over $300 for nothing. When we spoke to front desk in the morning, confirming if we stayed at the correct room they actually replied by saying that the room was actually 252 square ft instead of 225 square ft, implying we stayed in a room bigger then the one we reserved but in fact a few square ft bigger does not tend to the fact of paying for a view. Late night shift employee was extremely kind, however others were alright. Overall 3/5.

I'd like to title this "The Room from Hell". So the good, the room is light and bright in contrast to the poorly lite lobby and elevator which is designed like a dungeon. Make sure your phone is charged prior to entering the elevator because you will need your flashlight app to see the buttons. Seriously, oil rubbed bronze buttons on a dark black-brown background with less ambient light then a candle will give off. The hotel itself is located at the end of Hells Kitchen on 11th street which is a busy street with police constantly beeping their sirens. I stayed in room 1401, if you stay here and get that room invest in noise cancelling headphones. I accept some road noise visiting New York; however, the constant woop woop of the police with the occasional banging of big trucks does not create the expected atmosphere of the room given it's appearance. To add to the wonderful acoustics of this particular room, there appears to be some ductwork behind the wall by the door and if it starts raining a loud banging noise starts resonating through the room. The bathroom is decent sized for New York, except the shower. I was told by a coworker that was staying at the hotel that her shower was big.... mine was not, at about 30" squared and with a metal soap dish opposite of the shower head it makes it feel tiny. As far as the in room entertainment goes, they have a TV connected to satellite with a guide station that spent money on Mario Lopez but did not speed time to make the guide accurate, thankfully BBC was running an X-Files marathon so atleast i could rely on that. The satellite for their service must be the smallest satellite dish ever made, the day it rained the signal went out. It wasn't even a hard rain. With nothing to drown out the rapping from the ductwork I found myself retreating to the lobby. The lobby other then being dark is nice, there is a book of watches for you to look at near a piece of art that looks like a broken flat screen. I probably would have invested in longer lasting finishes for the seating, the pillows look like the beaten up sofas you see on craigslist, but they are comfortable so that is a plus. The attached restaurant called Print seem to be a bit on the high side, for the price I decided to go down town instead of risk it.
One more piece of advice, bring walking shoes of you plan on using the subway. The nearest station is 50th street which is a half mile walk away.

The one good thing about this hotel is the staff, very friendly. They earned the 2 stars for the hotel, otherwise it would have earned 0 stars.

Great time! Since we walked in, we were greeted by Donna, who was AMAZING! She was Very friendly and attentive to every question we had. You can see she was smiling under that face mask! Overall, most of the staff where friendly, both rooms were spacious and had nice views. Could have been a bit cleaner at time of checking, but it was ok. Hotel pretty close to time square but not noisy at all! We would definitely try and stay there when going back to NYC! Again, HUGE shot out to Donna. Sad we couldn t say good bye, but once again THANK YOU for your hospitality!!

Beautiful room, comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Great location near the intrepid water front location. 10 min walk to time square and also to the vase park. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly and well aware of safety precautions all wearing mask and signs for social distancing.

We travel with our two pups and have stayed in quite a few Kimpton hotels. Ink48 looks pretty new and contemporary. Rooftop bar has spectacular views and was quite hip and trendy. The rooms are big for NYC. We were on the 3rd floor. Super noisy with street, club, and construction noise. Some sound proof windows would go a long way towards guest comfort! They lost a star because I was going to order room service for breakfast, selected a $22 meal and at the end the hotel had added +$10 in "delivery fees"! Really? From the kitchen?! I canceled, they lost that sale and a star!

Pro: beautiful, modern, spacious hotel. In room dining, spa treatments, beautiful rooftop

Con: Construction adjacent to the property that goes from 7 am-7 pm. Loud hammering constantly. I d recommend book elsewhere until the construction is done. Also on weekends, if you re close to GL, there is a nightclub that plays loud music until 4 am ish :(

I have stayed there for the last 4 years when I go to the city. It is A little trendy and modern, but that doesn't bother me. Very helpful staff. Very nice rooms. There isn't too much in the immediate area but it's NYC so it's easy to get wherever you want to go. Valet service takes foreverto get your car though so plan accordingly.

We stayed in the room with the Hudson View. Was it worth 1k for two nights? I would say so. Large soaking tub, the view at night is relaxing as well. I have sensitive skin and I didn t have one break out. Safe to say it s a clean and spacious place! I would definitely stay again. We chose to say here because of the rooftop lounge. We would definitely return again.

Really nice place. Huge rooms with beautiful windows. Really liked the blue and white decorations. Got a good price for the room and was able to walk to Times Square. Definitely a safe hotel with a restaurant and a rooftop lounge with stunning views. Pet friendly!

Very nice and very modern. If you've ever stayed in Manhattan, you know that rooms are typically tiny. Not here! The rooms are big and the bathrooms are very large (at least on the 3rd floor). Staff is very nice and professional.

Stayed 11/22/19 I gave 4 stars because the staff are super friendly and the room was beautiful; furnishings were up to date and the room itself was in very good shape. We were in room 303. Would have been 5 stars however I am highly allergic to dust and I did mention to the front desk staff about the mold on the tile in the bathroom and the vent that was covered in dust. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome hotel. Everything done right. Little touches make this place special. Coffee bar in morning and wine at night. Exceptional and personable service. Grab a room that overlooks the Hudson.

We have just returned from a four night break in this lovely hotel! We were celebrating our anniversary and were kindly upgraded to a King Suite which was amazing. The hotel is in a very good location easy to walk to Time Square but away from the hustle and bustle. Attention to detail was key hereand the furnishings and style of the hotel were spot on. The service was impeccable. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Everything regarding my stay was outstanding! I have to say though, the security guard by the name of Ralph made my friend and I feel very uncomfortable. He was very unprofessional and rude. I hope I never have to experience that amount of disrespect.

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and imaginative decor. Weird location but it's within walking distance to the Theater district and good restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone that wants a boutique hotel experience!

Last visit was for a quick meeting, but I've stayed here several times in the past. The location is good, near the Javitz Center, Hells Kitchen and not to far from Times Square if that's what you need. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are great -stylish and clean. They also have am evening wine reception and morning coffee.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. The downstairs restaurant, Print, is great for brunch. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. If you like the Kimtpon experience, then you can't go wrong here.

Fun place for rooftop drinks with great views. Attended a private event here and the space was nowhere near big enough to accommodate the group comfortably. Would be very enjoyable if it was so crowded ~ the line to get food was 45 minutes long and the wait for drinks was 30.

We were in room 302 and it was a great view of the skyline as well as a good location near a lit of good food. Metro was a bit far but not horrible. Quite close to Times Square. Rooms were quiet (for NY) and had a nice blackout curtain for light. We got a big bathroom with a large tub amd a shower which was great.

Wanted to take the time out and say BEST HOTEL I HAVE BEEN TO IN NYC FOR UNDER $200 per night.

The room they gave us was a suite on the 10th floor overlooking the hudson river. there was a wall of windows so every view no matter where in the room you could see breathtaking views.

They deserve nothing but compliments. the hotel is all updated and swanky. From the main lobby to the hallway going to your room is very well thought out.

The rooftop bar was insanely beautiful. GO

Persistent, huge problems with this hotel. Issues ranged from dirty brown water from the faucet, to brightly lit windows with no curtains. The lobby design might look nice, but when my wife returned from running the NYC marathon and asked the front desk if they had a bag of tea, they got one for us 30 minutes later along with a bill for $17. If you want to invite a hotel maintenance employee to your room to run the bath faucet (to "clean" it) for 45 minutes on a Friday night, this impressively expensive yet comically bad hotel might be for you.

Oh, that was a great hotel. We stayed there for a week, I would like to go back to NY. But the life of a 13 year old does not leave it that way too often. But when I am in NY again, I will be back go to Ink48

This place is a nice hotel. From the lobby to bathrooms to the one room I saw for a little bit. Nice not congested area of midtown on 11th Ave and extra chic. Prices are a bit fire but I guess that's like everything in Manhattan.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The location was great for what we wanted as we were leaving on a cruise in the morning. Our room was nice, and even almost roomy by NYC standards.

However....

It took room service almost 3 hours to bring a couple of extra pillows. Turns out I didn't need them though, as I wouldn't be able to sleep much at all. I should have fully read the reviews as opposed to looking at the overall star count. Since it's Saturday night, I'm awake writing this instead of sleeping (I really tried).

But apparently my room is right across from an *event facility*. That is what the person at the desk called it. Turns out it's a night club from actually reading the google reviews. Not sure why he couldn't actually be honest with what it was. I just got a shoulder shrug and "sorry" when I commented about how it wasn't possible to actually sleep in the room.

But if you stay maybe request the side that is NOT across from the street from it (unless you plan on staying up all night, then please request this side so other unsuspecting peeps who actually want to sleep don't get stuck with this location.

Seriously, it's 5:36 and it is finally quit enough to get some sleep.

- Amazing top floor views

+++
- Free on Friday nights

-
- Average $17 drink price can go suck a big one
- Two bartenders for a crowd of people leads to long waits at the bar
- Music is boring and laid back, it's not turnt up at all (which they obviously don't care about)

TIPS:
- If you're a heterosexual dude, you'll be glad to know there's lots of women in line (Mostly Indian, then European, then Asian)
