Always my first choice in NYC. Great service and great rooms. If you have a reservation for a standard room, ask if 1705 is available. Trust me.

Kimpton hotels are always amazing, Ink48 lives up to the promise. Nice rooms, excellent staff, fantastic view.
A nice happening place with a one of the best views of Manhattan
Very dusty rooms. I was able to write "clean me" on the glass counter. Windows very dusty as well which is a shame pictures come out foggy because of it. Other guest hairs on the bathroom floor. Toilet seat cover won't stay up so for a female sitting down or trying to squat is a challenge unless you don't mind the toilet seat cover on your back. Tub and shower looked iffy. Dead mosquito I was able to blow off the table. I requested for room cleaning service and was advised they don't have housekeeping in the evenings. I paid more to ensure I would get a tub for a bubble bath for this exhausted essential worker but I'm too scared. Note to self bring your own cleaning supplies! Very disappointing especially since we are celebrating a anniversary.
Also no valet no parking on site as promoted on the websites. Feels like false advertisement. No door man to assist with bags.
Good thing is location, everyone was wearing face masks properly. Excellent views. Great room size!
Dinner at Print was very nice. My Berkshire Pork Chop was nicely done. Short ribs also got the thumbs up at my table, but the big winner was my friend who ordered the tagliatelle pasta. The noodles were perfect and the sauce went great with the delicate vegetables from the summer. Dessert with the rice pudding over a pastry shell also was quite delicious. After we ran up to the Press Room for the stunning views. We quickly felt old among the crowd so we did a few snaps of the glowing pool and the twinkling city before hopping on the down elevator.
Visited the upscale Rooftop Bar which has great views. Unique selection of cocktails with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quite good and staff does pay attention to make sure you have sufficient seats for large groups. Great restaurant on the ground floor with a bar as well. The Rooftop Bar can be quite crowded so you may have trouble getting seating. Prices are quite high but then it is New York :-)
Great hotel. With great service in the heart of downtown Manhattan
My experience was at the bar next to print restaurant. Drinks were great but the woman who i asked to start my tab only charged me for one drink and ended up charging the rest of my bill which consisted of a burger and 2 other drinks to the main bill of our entire party after our dinner at Print. Not a crazy headache but confusion did arrive when it was time to pay the bill. We next went to a rooftop bar which looked pretty basic in regards to decorations. I guess they were counting on the view of the city to distract us from the fact that the place was so packed and every drink down to a simple beer cost $20... Or did I get taken. There was no place to even stand except outside on the terrace only because it was so Cold out.
Nice hotel. Some confusion over holding keys at the front desk for me. Otherwise great.
Awesome hotel in an awesome area, rooftop bar has the best view in Manhattan, definitely would recommend!
Not really my cup of tea but lives up to expectations.
Liked the hotel; reception staff was somewhat inexperienced - flustered when trying to address requests.
amazing views thinking outside the box that is ,loving it always . Stay here if you enjoy ultimate rooftop adventures . Go Book now get a corner suite with a soaking tub ,thank me later .Did not want to leave ,they had to kick me out ,lol.
11th Ave is a heavy traffic thoroughfare. Constant car noise and emergency vehicle sirens - all day and all night. We were on 10th floor and still the noise made it difficult to sleep. And there is a large building right across the street that is under construction so constant jack hammer and cement trucks noise as well early in the morning. We ve stayed closer to Time Square before for both equal and lesser price and had a far better experience for overall location, noise level and service than we had at the Kimpton. Calls down to the front desk for a few forgotten items was always positive and friendly. Front desk staff was 50/50 for friendly service. Rooms were clean but small. $6 and $9 for a bottle of water in room is a little outrageous. Wouldn t stay at this property again.
Kimpton Ink48 provides a perfect balance of the New York City experience with space and comfort! From the gorgeous lobby to the insane view of Manhattan, I loved my stay. I plan to make this hotel my choice every time I visit New York!
Incredible rooftop bar, worth the lineup to get in.
What a view! And brilliant staff and service. Clean and comfortable.
Stayed at Ink48 on business trip and my wife ordered some jewellery to be delivered there. Unfotunately, it arrived after I departed and wanted to arrange for a courier to pick it up and forward it on. Was very disappointed with Ink48 concierge who took ages to reply to emails and when they finally admitted that my package was with them, didn't pass the package on to the courier that I had arranged (at additional expense) and instead kept my package. My wife is heartbroken as it was hand made jewellery that cannot be replicated and having contacted Ink48 concierge and reception numerous times have been completely ignored.
Great view of the Hudson River, very friendly staff and free Wine happy hour 5-6.
The hotel is very tastefully decorated. The room was very large with a huge bathtub in the room bed was very comfortable. The minibar very well stocked (incl. Extraordinary [sexy goodies] ) and relatively cheap.
Ready to go in the morning instead of hot coffee and tea - very welcome in the cold wind. The coffee even tasted very good
A pleasant fragrance was always present in the lobby. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.
Nice and clean hotel. Beautiful rooftop lounge views. (21+ to access rooftop lounge + dress code)
Love the view and the ambience is like no other the drinks are great!!
Management te-rri-ble
No good.
Huge rooms for NYC, very comfortable. Helpful staff.
One of the best meals I've ever had!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
Great rooms, fantastic service, amazing rooftop bar and delicious restaurant in the lobby! Free wine 5-6pm.
INK48 is phenomenal in so many ways!!! I have stayed at numerous hotels around the city. Ranging from The Plaza to the Hilton. Ink48 surpassed my expectation!! Our room was big for the city. It had high ceilings, very spacious! My wife is super picky with cleanliness. She was taken back by how spotless the room was every time we came back. My wife also raved about her spa day. All staff was quick, attentive and super friendly, from valet to front desk along with room service and restaurant/bar service. Everyone here is willing to help. You can really tell the management is great here. Everything is on point!! One of my favorite things about the hotel was the impeccable rooftop bar. So much lounge space. Super hip and trendy. The only turn off I had was a guy I heard complaining to management about the construction noise. GROW UP!! It s out of their control! And plus they warned everyone about it prior to checking in! It s NOT the hotels fault that the economy is prospering and construction is blooming!!!! I want to applaud management. Nick I. did a great job talking to the guests. Very calm, cool and collective guy. If it were me I wouldn t have been so nice. Beautiful, cool, trendy, modern hotel. I will definitely come back to visit.
The hotel was very nice. We had limited interaction with employees after check in, but they were very nice and helpful. The lobby, restaurant, and rooftop lounge were very cool. Drinks at the Press rooftop lounge were very expensive, even for NYC, but the setting and view are wonderful. Breakfast at Print restaurant was delicious...pricey, but not quite as bad as the drinks upstairs. The rooms were really nice, especially since we were randomly upgraded to a "city view" room. We'd definitely stay there again
Really nice hotel! Very cool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Modern and clean. Great rooftop bar.
Great service, great views! Short walk to time Square. However BE WARNED about the noise. Especially if you are facing North. The rooftop club opposite plays VERY loud music until 4-5AM on Friday and Saturday nights as well as late into the evening on midweek nights.
Also the general City Noise such as sirens can be heard so clearly the Windows may as well not exist. Combined with the AC in the room, which is the noisiest you have ever heard in your life (tornado in the room).... You will not be in for a good night's sleep. It's just a good job the bed is really comfortable.
It's a nice hotel but the noise SERIOUSLY let's it down. Until I heard the repeated noise, this would have been 5 stars, edited to reflect that.
Great service. Excellent design concept.Thir roof top bar press room is THE best New York roof top bar. A must see.
The person at the desk was really nice, I needed to use the bathroom so she let me use it
The rooftop space is beautiful, the staff was wonderful, highly recommend the Kimpton Ink48.
I would recommend staying at this hotel leave it here for 4 nights we had a wonderful time the service was great the rooms were wonderful the bed was really comfy five star
Do not stay here unless you plan on NOT sleeping. This is my 3rd stay in NY this month and I can safely say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Our room is next to a night club. The partying started at 5:00 PM and continued until 5:30 AM this morning. The hotel is totally aware of this night club and gave no warning. There was a fight at 1:00 AM with cops and sirens and shouting until 2:00 AM. When the club closed people continued to party on the street until 3:30 AM with about 150 people dancing and screaming outside of our room. When I called the hotel desk they were fully aware of the situation that occurs NIGHTLY and could not move our room because the hotel was full. How about warning your guests before they pay $400.00 a night to be prepared not to sleep? Horrible, horrible hotel. Will never stay here again. The only reason we stayed here is because it was the only 4 star hotel near the Kravis center. Never again, stay at MOTEL 6 ! At least you could sleep!
Lots of street noise. Especially on Saturday night.
I'll begin using the Kimpton services since 2011 and have not had one bad experience. I have Stayed in several of their properties throughout the country.I generally don't read services but I have to say I have only had good experiences and I have stayed with Kimpton in excess of 20 times minimum.
Such a cool hotel. A dog friendly chic hotel that tried to do things a little differently. Rooftop bar today's got a great view, I just have a hard time with cocktail prices at the places. A restaurant is just off the lobby. Bikes are available for use while staying there.
Excellent place to visit for any occasion. Pleasant staff, every time I went.
A wonderful place situated just west of the Hudson river and across from a Lexus car dealership on 11th Avenue. Their rooms are long and the layout makes them appear bigger than your average hotel rooms in New York. It only gets 4 stars because of a very small Fitness room and on a busy weekday morning you have to wait your turn on the machines and no more than 5 people can fit in the tiny room. Remember to checkout the rooftop lounge in summer.
Nice views, staff is friendly and accomodating the elevators have shag carpet on the walls !
I would like to start by saying I flew in from California to celebrate my birthday I purchased the Hudson Suite at your establishment Ink48 hotel for June 30th 2020- July 1, 2020. I booked a suite large enough so that my friends were able to cut cake and leave afterwards. My friends arrived before I did and they let your front desk employee, Donna know that they were awaiting my arrival (the bday person). Upon my arrival I was forced to sign a party contract that was never mentioned to me prior to this point, even after speaking to Donna on the phone prior to my arrival. At this point Security was called (a white male standing 6 5)and arrived in a threatening manner already being a huge man to tower over young women and men as if we did something wrong. He stood by the elevator & kept doing a head count. He questioned my guests as to where they were going & refused to allow them upstairs. (I already know it was because we were young and black! ) Making us feel very uncomfortable. We are told it s too many guest and that we have to cut cake downstairs. We agreed, because I didn t want my guest to have traveled from so far to not receive at least a piece of cake. At this point, you re staff was watching over us & being very unprofessional. They were openly discussing the matter upon themselves & the black security guard was sitting on the desk (where transactions are processed) & told my friend If I didn t like it, I could get my money back & leave ! I went to put my stuff in my room with the help of my female friends and then I received a a text less than 10 minutes later from a friend who came to celebrate that they were being escorted out by POLICE OFFICERS!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?! There was no disturbance no noise complaint and your staff didn t have the decency to ask them to leave but instead have police officers escort them out as if they are some type of criminals ?! That is completely mortifying and disgusting on this property s end, and scary especially with all that s going on in the world, where s the compassion?! We are all working individuals and business owners! At this point I want to break down and cry because I m completely embarrassed for myself as well as my guest! I explained to Donna that I wanted a refund due to the way that we were being treated & returned the room keys. She told me to leave the key on the desks & I would have to contact wherever I booked. I contacted the gm & he told me after a review of the incident he would be issuing me a full refund. It has been over a week, I reached back out via email & no one has been compliant. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. For all of the 15 minutes that I did spend in my suite it was nice & spacious. The issue was the unprofessionalism by the staff. Donna & the security guard ruined my 30th birthday & I will never forget this!
Love this hotel! Beautiful lobby. Rooms are great. Cool bathrooms. Would definalty stay here again.
Beautiful hotel in Hell's Kitchen. Our junior suite was huge and gorgeous, but had no view. Front desk staff were very friendly. There are a few places to eat and drink nearby with a 7/11 convenience store just down the street for miscellaneous needs.
So beautifully BIG Apple. Good cocktails with a fabulous city view feeling like on top of the world.
Holy shirt balls, the view from the "Heaven over Hell" suite is unreal! Came here for a work party and went outside for some fresh air and was taken aback by the great views.
I cannot comment on the hotel itself but if you want to splash out a little or want to host a party somewhere, this is it.
descent hotel.
room size is def bigger than average.
there is a descent/nice rooftop bar in the hotel.
hotel guest can go up without waiting(if there is a line)
I was there recently for a company social event at the rooftop bar. The decor is modern and the views are beautiful. The bartenders were attentive and the drinks were well-made and not weak. Aside from the bar area, there is an enclosed outdoor area as well as a full outdoor area. The various appetizers were all delicious, but the buffet-style pasta and bread were disappointing. Overall, it's a great space and I would go back again.
A unique place or one of the few that New York offers with such views,
I recommend going up to this roof top at night because the view of the city with all its lights is magnificent.
As in any roof top take the opportunity to order a spirit or a good drink in the spectacular bar where they serve all kinds of drinks.
There is no clothing code although many despite i with slippers ... are fixed.
Good music and in the cold season there is heating outside.
Must see. Enjoy a night and go have a drink for a while. I don't know they will forget it.
Great atmosphere, clean rooms, pleasant staff; I would absolutely book another stay.
Comfortable but layouts of rooms are a bit unusual. Good size and amenities. However, service leaves a lotto be desired. Food dropped on floor in front of me and not re-brought to room. Told coffee isnt allowed past lobby. Pretty loud street noise so ask for a river-facing room!
Nice ambient great service moderate prices Great place to have a little enjoyable time
Beautiful hotel with magnificent view of the Hudson River, especially from the room top. Most of the staff are nice and efficient. Two were less so, one male who was managing the elevator and the other a female who was managing the rooftop. Food was good and drinks were mixed rights.
This hotel chain is not like your average chain. They go out of there way to make your stay fantastic.
Really nice hotel in a quiet area of Hells Kitchen overlooking the Hudson river. It's about a 15 - 20 minute walk to Times Square.
There is a trendy bar with balcony looking out to the City Skyline and the river called Press.
The rooms are modern and spacious, we had 2 sinks inside the room itself with a bath in the room also. As well as a seperate shower room and toilet.
Not the best service from the people at the front desk
My husband and I were in this hotel over the weekend. We chose this hotel because of the raving reviews on the rooftop bar. Upon arrival the front desk welcomed us and asked us if we had ever stayed with them before. They gave us a room on the 14th floor. The room was ready and very clean. The view from our room was beautiful.
The downside........... While checking in we were told by the front desk that the roof top was closed that night (Saturday night) for a private party and would not open to the public until midnight. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Again this is the main reason we booked this hotel. After getting dinner we were told the party had been extended and now the rooftop would not open to the public until possibly between one and 2 AM. Again VERY DISAPPOINTING! That night about 10 PM the music began playing. It was so loud the room felt like it was shaking. You could hear the crowd of people talking over the music and it continued until after 2 AM.
In the morning while checking out we commented to the front desk about how loud the party and the music was and how disappointed we were that we could not access the roof top and/or sleep due to how loud it was. The lady at the front desk was quite rude to us and said I find it very unlikely that you would hear the music. You were on the 14th floor in the rooftop is on the 16th floor. I was not pleased with her comment to us. She was not in our room from 10 PM until after 2 AM and has no idea how loud it really was.
We don t get many nights away. I wish I had a better experience at this hotel!!
Great view, people, drinks and the rest is quickly forgettable
Great stay, brilliant hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Highly recommend this hotel! I am holding a wedding ceremony here, and the modern room style and the view are so great! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Manager Andreas gave us a lot of help during our ceremony, and provided us a great deal! Love the view here!
Staff is as lovely as the decor. Expensive drinks but you ARE paying for that spectacular view.
Nice hotel, bar is over priced, but to be expected.
Beautiful hotel, great service, rooftop bar with priority entrance to guests
Went to the roof top bar. Great views of the city! Expense drinks
