Versatile place. Kids like it.
A small downside: the upper restaurant closed down. I liked it very much. Good pizzas, salad bar and ok prices. May I come back ..

A very nice spa with hydromassage, slide and outdoor pool (although the group exercise surprised and disturbed), the room (through the corridors to all rooms in the room) is ok and the restaurant-buffet was good, albeit with a little redundant potato & fat - weighted. Otherwise, the city feels dead - Google only knows some tower attraction ...

The hotel features a spa and nothing to complain about because due to grade 4. The activities were admittedly truncated to the date, which is why the hotel seemed deserted. We would have opted for a little more busy time of your arrival if we would have known this.

The spa department is quite primitive and is really aimed at small children and other water enthusiasts and there is nothing right there in other spas. On the other hand I have heard that there's just water aerobics else considered, at least not as often as before. The place is deserted. I myself wouldn't go again.

Listen to the place. Something for everybody. But women's dances have to be returned to the program sometimes also on the weekend.

Room cramped, messy in the buffet and some cold. There is no wheelchair access to the spa area, so you missed it. Developed in outdoor areas. Customer service is the only plus.

We used only the services of the Spa.
The spa is very suitable for a family with children. Water just right from the warm outdoor pool. A nice addition to family saunas, although swimming in a swimsuit is warned about chlorine elsewhere.
Pools suitable and on Sundays calm not too crowded. The children also liked the best water slides that have been tried. slide down to the pool so swimming skills are needed or floats.

Water element for kids nice. The pretty little 9-year-old got bored in 2 hours.

Spa clean, small. The hotel room would definitely need a renovation. However, the room is spacious. Pictures of the room.

Things would have been really varied, time but not enough. The food was good and the lakeside view was beautiful. The hotel room we had at the Terme building, the room was basic, but a bit old-fashioned. The walls were pretty thin, we heard from the neighboring room through the wall of the speech, but let's not out there enough time in the hotel room to spend a lot of time.
Sometimes we go to Ikaal again for a vacation. We really enjoyed the child very well. Spa pools for children will have a big plus.

In brief.

The hotel needs quick renovation. In the lobby of the detached house, home is already smelling. However, the room is quite clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. Big plus for the employee who had breakfast before it officially opened.

Experience on the positive side, though the place is somewhat stagnant. The price includes a spa that has been similar for as long as I remember. However, the cold pool was gone. Likewise, the Titi-Teddy Bear theme, which has not been replaced. Plussa is a water pumping adventure that the sparringman was holding. Wednesday seemed to be a dance day, and at least in the evening there was a good dip with live music. We got there for dinner with no entrance fee. The food was tasty. The restaurant resembled a little 70's from its farm and table layout (no draws, tables in a square pattern)

Breakfast good, and a new story for rent electric scooters. The nearby beach with its activities was popular with the youth. But it was also popular with geese.

Beach good. It was one night. The basic chain of hustle brought to the hotel. The lake is massive and next time I get some boat.

Side building "spa hotel" old-fashioned and ugly. No room service. Not candies on the pillow. No television greeting. In the room dust. Room old fashioned. No bathrobes. Very long and rambling trip to the main building, bad signs. Ok spa, restaurant ok. I don't visit this time, and if I visit, the room should be on the "maining" side ... Maybe it's more modern and better equipped.

At the counter, when you order a drink, the staff is there and can be seen by the customers, but they don't bother to serve immediately

Very comfortable and cozy spa hotel. I recommend myself especially to young people with small children, the spa is the right size and the waters are warm. For younger bathers, a nice private corner with even warmer water, comfortable toys and shallow water, where you dare to let the baby go. As a parent it was nice to sit in warm water and watch the games. Our group includes 6 months, 2, 3 and 5 year olds, and everyone found the right way to go. The hotel was very cozy, with a great variety of restaurants and shops available. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plus a good hair dryer and a good makeup mirror. YyAll kinds of play and action modes, as well as a small bowling alley. All in all, a very good place.

Good-sized room for families with children, nice things to do and good food and good children's menu. The Ti-Ti teddy house is wonderful.

like in the morning 3h when I was at night. you should have some promotional price for the room
also for the next day of work (if space is available) for a further period of 3-4 h if you want to go to the spa and enjoy a moment in the nice room.10 / hour felt like salt. Hot water in place. Nice staff. Sometimes during the ski week DJ. Nice atmosphere. I recommend for families with children! For young children, two pools. Two whirlpool baths. For adults and older children, there is a large pool with a shallow water slide. Women and men shower rooms just renovated.

Really bad hotel. The room card broken and when I walked, I noticed that the sofa room was made of forklift trucks. Bad rooms and anyway a terrible place.

Staff friendly. Facilities good, lots of hobby opportunities.

Nice relaxing hotel with a pool/spa. Really nice outdoor section which is also open at winter time. Gives a small Icelandic feeling. The staff is really really nice and there is a nice lake outside with a beach which is super nice at summer times..

Nice place but closed at the turn of the year, sadly ...

A pleasant place to be. Good breakfast. Good beds. A great view of the lake, at least in our guest rooms Maininki-building. We were there with the grandchildren, who liked spa very much. The surroundings are beautiful and Ikaalisten Vanhakauppala is worth a visit.

Pizza was disappointing. Water could be warmer in the spa. On the stairwell side of the spa hotel, the lounge is part of the rooms. The sheets were camouflage rattling and tickling. The spa floor is shockingly slippery. Children liked the playground indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was ok.

Very bad experience of the place. For months, I had asked the room to raise the bed, for example, and even closer to the arrival it was not when I came and did not fix it until the next day. The rooms are as hot as you did, and you didn't get any relief after a little rain. I wouldn't come here with my family !!!

Reductions are so 5/5! There were many swimming pools as well as good ones

The room we were first given was one of the worst I have ever seen. It was old worn from the 80's. We couldn't be there. We had to switch to a real horell room.

A night was spent here with his wife, daughter and dog. The room got nicely straight out through the backyard and into really nice outdoor terrain. The spa is a bit poor by current standards but the water was wet, the sauna warm and everything worked.
The rooms are badly worn but if you are not looking for luxury then it is good to stay here.
The hotel needs an upgrade.

Because this is the same place when we were here at the hotel for 4 nights the next morning we went to breakfast to go to go to the spa the next day went to the lake

Dwindled buildings, activities are dripped down, the restaurant is top-notch and nothing to say. Massage is good and affordable.

One star too much but when zero could not be given. On New Year's Eve, full and top performer. The number of staff is totally under-sized and professionally non-existent. At the bar counter the intake of the beverage lasted three hours, at least two during the evening. Second time drinks; 2 cider and 1 beer even once. I was wondering how Scandic missed the deal without getting money ...

I was in rehabilitation. The accommodation was old, but it was pretty cool. Massages and eyebrow dyeing were done with real skill, not wasted money. Spa department ok, although the water was colder a few days. On the baby day, warm ... indoor air problems at least in some buildings, asthma worsened in a week. You can't touch an ordinary spa guest so much, it was mostly a problem with older gyms and so on. Breakfast good, otherwise food at most mediocre. Fish dishes were acknowledged with fishballs, not once with real fish.

A good destination especially for a family with children. There was a lot of things to do and activities were found out of the way. The well-equipped gym and pool department were in our mind. In addition, it was nice to notice that there were really family families here: the opening hours were good and sanitation was at least enough for us. In addition, the Titi Teddy House in the area was, at least for the tickets purchased from the hotel, reasonably priced, which is quite rare in this type of destination. The small kitchenette in the hotel room (in the Terme building) was also good. It was easy to make a snack or the like.
Development is mainly about eating things: the vegetarian food was poorly served, and the downstairs restaurant had both too few staff and a really poor supply, especially at the buffet table. The upstairs pizzeria restaurant could also have had a more varied food on offer. At breakfast, for example, eggs would have been fresh. The supply was otherwise quite abundant.
In addition, the hotel building (Terme) needs a little bit of upgrading: the sleeping-hall corridor carpet made us worse, but fortunately the room was a bit more up-to-date. However, air conditioning was missing at least in our room.
We will definitely visit here again!

As a couple, we stopped on a motorcycle trip for one night. Room in Ikaal okay, though expensive, because we were not going to use the spa. The food in the Respakros restaurant was lukewarm, the pizzas woke up again in the microcontroller and the cold did not need to be eaten astointi The air conditioning was apparently not working well, already from the morning 1st floor was very stale and edgy. Families with children will surely be the ideal place for their activities!

Service mediocre. Varying others joyful and nice others with little thirst and not so interested in their work. The food from the upstairs restaurant is just dog food and when it was announced the only response was to be it. He left a 22 dose without eating and was hungry for breakfast. Which again was 5/5

The homepages just fucked. There is nothing clear about opening hours, and page updates behind their lives. Just a jees pool department. Should you go to work yourself to update your home pages when you are so lazy that your customer experience is not interesting.

The pool section is nice, the service is good, but the room on the old side was obviously in the mold somewhat because the symptoms at least came to myself ... I heard from a few others that I had had symptoms. Otherwise, the place is quite nice.

The customer service was friendly and the breakfast was good and varied. The hotel room furnishings and some common facilities would need to be refurbished, but otherwise our holiday was successful all the way and the friendly customer service crowned everything, thanks to it.

We had visited Ikaalinen Spa 4-5 times before, so the trip to receive the New Year 2018 was there. We booked and paid in advance for the hotel room well in advance of the turn of the year. Since we have a dog, we booked a room this time from Ikaalia, where pets are welcome. When we arrived at around 2pm, the room was ready and we received a card key from reception. Our room was located on the 1st floor, Ground floor, 1 floor down from the main entrance.
A very bleak view faced the guest as he exited the elevator in the stairwells downstairs. The doors of the laundry handling and storage facilities hung open and garbage bags were hanging down the hall. The environment we arrived with the dog was not uplifting. While staying in the room, we noticed a shortage of hangers and my wife found a couple of cleaners for tobacco, asking them for more hangers for room 904. We then got them from the cleaner who brought them.
After this, during our entire 4 night stay, we did not see any cleaners, our room was not cleaned once. We did not receive new towels or similar supplies required at the spa from the cleaners. We took towels from the carts in the hallways ourselves.
When leaving, of course, we complained about it at the front desk, where we received a comment that with pets staying separately, cleaning times will be arranged separately so that the room can be entered safely. So when checking in, shouldn't the receptionist have already asked / agreed on this, once mentioning that we paid for the accommodation and the pet's stay in advance. So the pet in the room was no secret. Internal communication with cleaners should work in such a way that when the client stays, the cleaners will be informed about the rooms containing pets.
All in all, this stay at Ikaalinen Spa left a nasty taste this time and our future trip will not be there. The reception's comment that the cleaning is handled by SOL services does not release Ikaalinen Spa from liability. Service is something that can ruin even a good item and this is what happened now !!!!!

At the dawn of the restaurant too few staff and service very slow

The service at the restaurant was quite slow. Despite the table reservation, we queued for about 30 min. Either the staff was too little or the organization was poorly organized ... It felt like the outfit was a bit lost. The gigs for the spa holiday paid almost 30 and the gig was in a big hall where people were hanging out in the middle of the floor and the acoustics were bad. We missed the gig and retreated elsewhere. Positive was the large hotel room and many beds to choose from.
