Otherwise OK. But restaurant food under reviews. If the pizza pays n14e you would think you would get more than just the ready-made frozen ham. Or even service no breakfast on offer 07 ahead. Everything was good and we were at 0655 . But ... When they didn't get hot in the morning, even if they cooked them in the microwave for the evening. And when the staff asked where the breakfast was going, its answer was only from where before? No need to go to that place anymore.

Includes a mini-holiday at the spa and overnight stay at Ikaalia. The room was clean and large. The loft and glazed balcony were a nice addition. The dinner of the spa once again was great and the breakfast was also rich and varied. thank you

Quiet nice place.
Clean rooms at the main hotel (Maininki). The spa side is great for both adults and children. There is an outdoor pool, children's pool, slide, whirlpools, saunas, etc. everything you need from a spa.

Beautiful location and cozy spa! You should get a refurbishment in the rooms and when the entertainment side is so little for a week! Otherwise good big restaurant and dance floor! Breakfast table versatile!

Rooms and spa really dirty. The steam room was cool. The bridge in the pool compartment is dangerously slippery. Disappointed was our family.

I have visited the roads almost the entire treatment period of its existence, dozens of times, and been satisfied, sometimes even very satisfied. The staff is professional and friendly with a few exceptions. Now, however, the only one left with good taste was the staff. Our room was clean, almost, but badly worn and stuck in the 80s years of splendor. Balcony very untidy. By the spa all the ok until the shower n at 16 I came very, very disoriented to the floor of the shower compartment and several inactive showers. To the point, no one in the room had a steam bath. The same thing was repeated in the morning, the floor was still dirty even though I was in the first place, the showers worked whatever and the morning sauna, the most important morning, completely cold. We tried all of them and every sauna except the steam room cold. When it came to finding out, it turned out that they were too late to warm up. The next morning the situation is a little better but not okay. It is quite clear that, apart from a hardware failure, the service that is announced to start by hitting a clock is then fully operational. The place for breakfast and food is nicely changed to its own corner, but I'm afraid that at peak times there are room problems, especially when there is no place to put the tray on and when there is not enough room for exercise. Then, the opening of the spa and the start of the breakfast are badly contradictory. Yes, the Finn is already in a heated sauna and swimming before breakfast and not vice versa. The room did not fully match the information provided:

The chat said the room had two separate sofa beds, but there was one whose bed mechanism betrayed together. Furniture box risa.
The cleaner came in despite a "don't bother" patch put on the door when the child (2 years old) was asleep. Cleaning done "with the left hand".

Spa women's washroom: same rubbish (lots) throughout the three days.

-Pretty good spa department, large main pool where you can even swim.
-Decent water slide and two hot tubs.
-Guided free water gymnastics available
-Cozy environment outside the spa.

Cons:
-Family room really small, children's beds made of shabby armchairs
-Customer service friendliness and activity vary
-The bowling alley rode badly and was not sorry or offered a discount.
- Strange smell in the men's sauna
-Lunch buffet at the service station level

Somehow not just naze this place. High prices on every destination

Affordable price. Slightly limited selection of custom pools, one slide, two small hot tubs. Plus the communal saunas, the steam room and the regular as well as outdoor pool. With kids, it's nice to be able to go to the sauna together for a swim.

A nice place at least with the eyes of a family with children.

Scandic Ikaalinen Spa is quiet and comfortable at the hotel. There are not many guests in the fall, so you can relax in the restaurant and spa. Our apartment room in the Terme building was cozy and clean, no complaints. The view from the window was lovely, directly on the lake. All the buildings were seen to be already old and in need of a bit of facade renovation, but this in no way hindered the visit.

The spa is smaller, but there are enough pools for adults as well. I would have longed for a shared sauna for men and women, because at the moment there is only a steam sauna in common.



Overall a very good hotel, exceeded expectations and excellent value for money. The staff is also friendly.

The hotel room was located in Ikaal. The child stayed in a loft in the room, an exciting experience for him. The room was basic, maybe the materials would need updating. Breakfast was pretty chaotic. Of course we came in the last hour when the plates and cutlery were out. However, breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast. Not surprisingly, but nothing was missing. Everywhere in the worst holiday season we have a good experience and we will come again.

Spacious restaurant downstairs. The spa is by no means special except the outdoor pool in Plussa.

The spa lacks the so-called. Ordinary swimming pool, where you can swim and arrange for example water pumping. It is, of course, a big investment, but still .. The pool shouldn't be big (cf. Aulanko).

Otherwise good but kids water toys from year to year broken, so those pumped to get water sprayed. This is frustrating.

A little queuing at check-in and check-out, sweat dripping. The room seemed to be much more expensive than it was at last. However, the room was good enough and the cleaning was playing. The view from the balcony was a magnificent lake view. The spa was surprisingly small, but it was enough. Breakfast buffet, other facilities and services were good. So it didn't make a joke, but good Nelonen clicked.

The hotel room is not exactly 5 star, at least not in Ikaal, but it's not so staying there ... The swimming pool is really good with its water jets and the slide is worth a visit! The gym is great and the spa facilities are very good. Food is tasty and everything can be found at every departure, including vegetarian and other special diets. The environment offers great nature with good outdoor activities.

A wonderful place by the lake. Plenty of room to rent. You can take treatments and jogging.

Millions are not enough to improve the place. Not classy, smelling, unclean, modest. Staff rude and helpless. Annoying that Scandic is logging its name and that I wasted my Scandic point here!

All basic services are available but one can see that the place is struggling. Even though we visited during the high season (for 1 week in July) the outside bar/coffee terrace was closed, low in staff, half of the restaurant services were closed. If my kid was out in the playground (which is really nice) I had no possibility to enjoy coffee etc. without leaving the playground and walking all around the facility (the doors facing the playground were locked). Vegetarian food was often horrible our lacking. When asking for some, I was offered chicken soup. Lol. No healthy foods offered at the poolbar, just fried frozens.

Yes the level has dropped in everything .. Sad! For example, in the children's pool the water is cold, and Titina no longer shows the program in the sauna. Food is no longer high quality (prices yes). Before we visited a lot, no longer interested in coming ....

A nice place to visit the spa. The whole family enjoyed it. The shower and pool sections work. Suitable for children of different ages. A small disadvantage from a minimal steam room that can accommodate less than ten people. In addition, there was a guided water pump for self-running. Quite a hollow bump that ran up to the sauna.

All services in the main house, so better book from there. The children enjoyed themselves well. Good restaurants.

We usually visit the roads every summer. The renovation of Violetta Restaurant has not been successful. Now everything is rushing through the doors and passing in a cramped space in both directions. Food often run out as well. Likewise e.g. Trays, cutlery. Upstairs is way too expensive. Prices a little lower.
We have also wondered why there is no trade in the area at all?

The spa has gone the worse way. The temperature in the children's paddling pool was lowered and the steam bath became cold. We stayed in Ikaalia. The accommodation was so substandard that I thought we should have paid to stay there. The biggest drawback was the dirtiness. We used Restaurant Violetta for an evening buffet. Both the fact that breakfast was also marked by inferior service. The food was really spooky, both the evening buffet and breakfast. Really big funding. Evening buffet almost 16 and hungry we left. We didn t even find a seat for everyone at breakfast, but part of our family ate from their standing at the table. The bacon as well as the eggs were inedible. The juice is quite scary. The children found almost nothing to eat, as did the evening buffet. Reviews I'm sorry, but accommodation and dining experience were terrible, unfortunately.
The spa was ok if it could only fit. Was it completely overflowing, was it no longer within safety limits?

It would have been nice to follow the spa's opportunities for it.
I would suggest a more comfortable stay in the pool department with furniture. We enjoyed sleeping, bathing, staying with a book or grid. The chairs are pretty uncomfortable to sit on.
But all right, we're going to be a repeat.
