IHG Carlton Cannes Review

Very beautiful facade, luxurious.
I did not have the outfit to get in ...

The Perfect place to stay for Cannes Film Festival!!! The rooms, service, and security superb!

Ate at the beach side restraint. Had a basket of vegetables with e dressings for starter which was much better than it sound. The stake tartare for mains was well balanced and generous. Nutella crepe for desert was nothing special. Knocking a star off for poor selection of beers.

I find it shameful to pay this price for a rustic room, with a tiny TV not even having HDMI and a quarter of chopped watermelon costing 25
The 4.6 stars are due to the place of canes do not be fooled
The hotel does not deserve 5 stars and does not meet the necessary services
(no pool or spa and under construction since 2018 according to some reviews)

You can not buy a class. So if you are talking about the price / performance ratio floor, the hotel did not understand and should go to the Hilton.

La Croisette in the evening ... Quiet and pleasant.

This place has a nice vibe. The back side is horrible though as there is constant construction going on.

Impeccable service. Quality in the plate with beautiful flavors. Petit + pr the pastry chef with beautiful desserts. We regretted not to have been there more often because if we compare the tickets of some restaurants on the edge of the croisette even see the suquet prices are around.

Superb building with a great history. The staff was very professional and helpful. It's best building on the strip and you will be charged accordingly. But an extra 1 to use the coffee maker in the room, really? And your going to chain the iron to the ironing board like this is some kind of motor lodge? Seems like mismanagement or maybe greed has caused a loss of focus here which would explain why precious lobby space has been rented out to boutiques and the bar plastered with ads.

The service is first class and it is very impressive. However, the rooms are in need of renovation (TV from the 90s, air conditioning can not be adjusted, etc.) Nevertheless, a great experience

The hotel is very well located with the beach right in front. But the rooms are very very old and outdated, paint is off on walls and construction work is constantly happening. Wouldn't stay again here probably until rooms are renovated and construction behind is complete. Only advantage is the location, but would suggest to look elsewhere given the exhorbant prices of this hotel. Although I am spire elite with IHG, I am sad to write this review. Check-in agent was good, but time it took to enter the hotel entrance to drive way was too long. Took more than 15minutes to clear 3 cars Infront of us.

Already tested during a lunch at the very beginning of 2008, I am still as enthusiastic about the refinement and the quality of the cuisine, the finesse of the presentation and the service, both subtle and warm.
Working in the luxury hotel industry, I can only praise the unwavering quality at the Carlton and recommend the restaurant, but also the bar (special mention to the cinnamon hot chocolate)

This is one of the coolest hotels on Cannes Beach. The building is large and grand and offers good service.
The jazz team playing in the restaurant on the first floor is really great.

A word of advice, never to be disappointing. Considering the price these abuse you deserve a 3.5 star.

nice place to enjoy the sunset. also a 'court' to play for kids. staff looked a bit demotivated when we sat down half an hour before closing time ;) prices are standard for this area

Not at all satisfied. I booked 5 nights at this hotel this past September and was thoroughly disappointed. The first room I was given faced the back of the hotel, which is just an ugly parking lot that looks like an industrial loading zone, and a large spiral metal staircase that obstructed nearly the entire window. After complaining of the view of the parking lot and further obstruction by the staircase, I was moved to a room on a lower level with only one window which also faced the parking lot and a sidewall of the hotel. In addition, both rooms felt very old and in major need of updating. The walls were dirty and tons of paint chipped away from the room door and the doors on the closets. I expected more for my money and from a brand like the Waldorf Astoria. I would have expected more from a Best Western! For the money I spent on my room here I could have had a sea facing room at another hotel in cannes with a slightly lower rating, but what's the point of a 5 star hotel when your room is not even at a 3 star level! Horrible experience. My advice, stay away!

Magnificent!!! There are no words for how lovely this hotel is. It is nestled in the Mediterranean and has every luxury one could ask for. One of my favorite hotels!! This place has to be experienced. There is no other place in Cannes that I wish to stay after being spoiled. The staff is accommodating and personable!! Please have a room available for my next vacation in Cannes!!

First experience at the Beach Club, the large bar being closed during this period of Corona madness. The service is equal to itself, one of the best in the world if not THE best for me, who has been traveling every week for 30 years. Quite chic and very pleasant place. The best Aperol Spritz I have ever tasted. During the Cannes Film Festival you can meet stars there.

One of the most authentic hotels in Cannes.
Service worthy of a palace.
We are waiting for the extension with the swimming pool and the roof top which has some nice surprises in store.

The beach and its restaurant are always a safe bet.
