We found the tour very interesting & informative. The owner & staff are friendly. We enjoy the ciders & are anxiously awaiting the release of their flavored vodkas. The gift shop has unique items from local artisans & the organic apples are delicious.

A must see in Tuolumne County! Located within a peaceful valley surrounded by orchards and mature oak trees, Indigeny offers a beautiful setting to enjoy freshly made organic hard ciders and unique brandy. Friendly staff, with a passion for nature, provide tours and tastings of a truly amazing cider. We will definitely return to Indigeny Reserve!

This use to be my favorite place to go to but I will no longer be coming here. I came in to get my 1/2 gallon refilled and the girl working at the counter refused to refill it she told me she couldn't refill my bottle because it was not clean and it is HER policy that she can not do that I ftold her that it was and even the customer next to me had to jump in and tell her if she can maybe just switch me out for another bottle or something and she said no and told me to smell it almost as if she was trying to embarrass me in front of the other customers. I didn't smell anything but she made me feel awful and then told me that if I want I can buy another bottle which made me assume that she was just trying to get me to buy another bottle I refused and walked out. I left feeling ashamed as if I had done something wrong. I live in the area and have family from other cities that I take there all the time, I will no longer be bringing in new business nor will I be coming back. I have refilled my bottle here a few times already and the customer service has been horrible but I didn't say anything before because I didn't think it was a big deal but most people in the area will tell you that if you are not there to do tasting they will not treat you as nicely. It is very unfortunate because I really like there drinks but I just can't handle this treatment from their staff anymore.

Down a long windy one lane drive. Very beautiful site. The tasting is amazing. The cute little gift shop is cool. The grounds are very park like. If you're in the area stop by. If you're not in the area go buy their cider (it's the best) and you'll want to go visit.

Well worth the short drive from central Sonora (about 15 minutes).

The ciders are outstanding, as is the apple brandy. (I didn't try the vodka.) The "regular" cider is juicy and a little sweet. The cider with blackberry is excellent and very well balanced. The organic dry cider is remarkably good, with complex aromas and flavors from all 52 estate grown apples.

The lovely tasting room is similar to a wine tasting set-up and is free. Pours are available for purchase. For an extra dollar you receive a pint glass with a logo to take home.

Every time I have been to Indigeny, I appreciate the grounds and all that has been done, especially during Covid, to make it comfortable and welcoming to their guests. That was until our visit over the weekend. The grounds and the cider are still great, but the service at the bar for growlers and pints was rough. There were three servers, two who were kind, and quick to help. The third was rude, short and condescending. She spoke to everyone in front of us, then to us as well, as though we were there to argue. Weird experience for a place so well enjoyed.

A nice place to go. They sell apple beer and apple Brandy. They have a little gift shop. They have an outside picnic area with bean bag toss, basketball, hula hoops, Jenko, and a walking trail that goes to an old mine site and to Phoenix Lake. If you would like to taste the apple beer that they make there is a bar that has sampling. Staff is very friendly.

We took friends out to show them what the place is like and to try the Smokin hot meats & treats. Food was delicious and the organic hard apple cider so crisp tasting. May have to go out again very soon.

You will never find a better, higher quality hard cider or brandy. Their products are absolutely top notch, and are available in multiple sizes including 2 liter mini kegs and Growlers. They have seasonal blends, like the pumpkin spice hard apple cider currently being produced, which is absolutely amazing. The grounds are picturesque, and perfect for events like weddings.

The property is gorgeous and we had a blast visiting with our family. The owners enthusiasm in his tour is also evident in the cider which was outstanding. Thank you for the opportunity to visit your property.

Don t bother attending their holiday event. It was very sad!
Pictures with Santa were outrageously horrible. Paid $5 for a picture with the photographers finger in it. Camera was too far back. Got a pic of the surrounding decorations more than of the subjects. Santa not friendly, no smile, no interaction with the children.
Very very sad!!
I have been told the people at Indigeny don t care about bad reviews - shame on you!
Never attending again!!!

Fantastic tastings of their hard ciders, brandy, and vodkas. I am young looking and usually do not get good service at tastings even though I always buy bottles, but this reserve blew my expectations out of the water! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tasty drink and a nice place to sit and relax.

We were turned to this hidden gem by a coworker. They offer different tastings , even with COVID restrictions. However I was told that they offered brandy tasting as well, But we only got to taste the cider which was delicious. They were also super helpful and nice. They offer picnic tables, and have a grassy area to relax with some hard cider. My husband and I played a game of Viticulture, drank some cider, and just relaxed. Also, they DO NOT have public restrooms available but they do have 2 porta potties.

It is well worth the drive out to this beautiful place surrounded by apple trees along a creek. The cider they make has a really unique flavor that really spotlights the apple flavor. It is quite different (and I think better) from traditional ciders. I hope they start distributing to the Bay Area soon!

It was a wonderful experience. Kenny was great an telling us all about how different Indigeny is different from all other apple cider products. Loved the ground. May your business prosper and grow to the Palm Springs area.

We went here did you a sampling of wonderful hard apple ciders. They were delicious. We also sampled there Brandy and their vodkas. All of which were delicious. Some Ware sweet and others were tart. A different tastes for everybody. We went on a great tour to hear the history and the workings of this great establishment. I love the name and the meaning behind it. This is a great place to have a picnic. They have food trucks. Hiking trails. It is just a family fun place with incredibly good hard apple cider

The drive is pleasant to the facility. Tucked away in the hills just outside of Sonora. All the products they offer are flavorful and smooth, there really isn't a bad choice to be had.
Jay gave an excellent tour, he used words that the average person can understand to explain the process they use.
The pricing is about what you would expect from something that is a tourist attraction.
The environment is pleasant, and laid back, the closest thing I've had to a small town feeling since I moved to California.
They are dog friendly, I was able to bring my dog with me with no trouble.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience there and I would recommend giving it a visit.
It's a good way to spend an afternoon.

Victor, the owner, was friendly and took time to work out a deal that I couldn't resist for 2018 Tuono Factory. If you're in the market for "the god of thunder", Victor is the man that you need to call. Love the bike and customer service from Indigeny Reserve.

Awesome cider! Get a growler and go up on Wednesday to get it refilled for $12. Staff is friendly and their creations are always enjoyed at home. They love talking about their product and are always willing to share. Drive up there is beautiful and scenic.

When I had to choose one star it called that "Hated It" . This does not describe my feeling. I would have given no stars and not used the word hate if that were a choice in writing my review. I would have said I was extremely disappointed because I believed in my experience of visiting the grounds , buying organic apples directly , enjoying the tasting bar and reading as much online as I could find on the website. Had there been full disclosure and transparency on the website regarding the ingredients of the products made and sold by Indigeny , I would have absorbed all that I could. I hope that is available soon and I have requested that be done directly with one of the Watson family members. That would be full disclosure and transparency , which I consider very important in my life and look for that from the people in my life and products I buy.
My complaint is that when I went with faith and trust to buy my first 6 pack of "Indigeny Reserve " as a rare treat for myself in terms of drinking alcohol , I was 2/3 through the bottle when I looked at the ingredient list . I was shocked to find out that one 12 ounce bottle has 31 grams of sugar , that the product has Dexrtose, caramel color and preservatives in it . I could not sleep last night I was so hopped up on sugar. I am disappointed because I thought Indigeny was similar in the degree of integrity that the also local Diestal Farms has well established . What I think now is that the Indigeny Reserve product is cheaply made , a money maker but worst of all it is part of an industry that is contributing to the out of control use of sugar that is affecting the masses . Sure , it is fine for them to make and sell what they do , it's just that I understand now that though they have an organic hard apple cider product that they make and sell on the grounds , the product in the store is closer to a soda product and those distinctions are not made on the website, which I hope they will be soon . I believe now that they would never make the money they want / need to make by just producing an organic , no sugar added hard cider and an organic hard liquor. The money is in the mas produced for the masses who have yet to stop their own intake of cheap sugary drinks . That , besides the fact that I felt very bad after drinking part of a bottle of the 12 oz Indigeny reserve last night for the first time , is why I would give no stars with an Extremely Disappointed designation if I could have . Still it was important enough for me to register my complaint and therefore I chose the one start and the distasteful "Hated It" . Buyer beware, business come clean .

Beautiful property, exceptional tour, friendly employees and delicious cider! After enjoying my favorite cider for a few years, it was great to see where it's made. We love it even more now!

Our family has been coming up for several years in the Fall. The Harvest Festival was great this year. My grandchildren (5,3,2) had a blast riding in the hay wagon & having sack races. The cider is always good. The new Pumpkin Spice was very tasty but I came home with a Growler of Blackberry Cider. We'll be back next Fall for the Festival.

Hard cider that wants to taste like apples and not be a copy cat of beer - truly for the cider fans. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. We really enjoyed sampling their ciders (for free)- ended up buying a growler of their organic cider to take home which is only available on tap at the reserve. Delicious and smooth with a good balance of tart and sweet. professional and friendly staff and the tour with the owner was fantastic and informative. Make sure to ask about tasting their apple vodka and limoncellos in the back room.
Also space to have a picnic, shaded benches, and walking trails. Dog and kid friendly setting.
