Amazing atmosphere, good people around, staff always help you , a place where you never get bored..

We have been to Egypt many times and this hotel is amongst the best, the service is great by all the restaurant staff nothing is too much trouble. The animation team are great, always try to get people involved. There are a number of activities from stretching in the mornings to aqua gym, Zumba and other activities - all the staff are happy and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. If I could fault anything there could be more variety with the food and it s quite difficult to book the a la cart restaurants..

Recently stayed here with myself husband and three children, we have really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back hopefully next year! The animation team were outstanding, constantly smiling and chatting to everyone. We mainly spoke with bubbles and samurai who were our favourite and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. No problem to small.
Best holiday and sad to be leaving. Look forward to seeing everyone next year!!

We had a very nice stay at the Saraya. The staff are incredibly friendly and always do their best to ensure that nothing is left to the guests.
At first we had a room right next to the entertainment area. Since we wanted a quiet holiday, we got a room in the quiet part of the hotel on request the next day. The room was also much more modern and nicer in terms of decor (the pictures show the second room).
There are 2 pools in the hotel complex. There is always something going on on the bigger one. There are sports and games on offer. With the other you have your peace of mind - no music and no animation. So there is something for every taste. There is a bar at both pools. One bar is larger and at lunchtime there is a good selection of salty and sweet dishes.
The food was varied and very tasty. You always found something for yourself.
You can eat once in an a la carte restaurant. We were at "The Grill". The restaurant comes highly recommended.

It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. With its own section and bar for the hotels of the JAZ Group.

Some parts of the complex are a bit old, but it is still clean and well-maintained.
We would definitely come back and recommend the Saraya to others. What convinced us most was the friendliness of the staff.

We arrived 2nd March and go back on the 30th March. Lovely room 9203 We are thoroughly enjoying the Saraya resort. All the staff are brilliant they can't do enough for you. Everyone is treated like royalty. Food is exceptional and if you have any other requests they will go out of there way to get it. All I can say is a big thank you to everyone.

Great place, very nice food & friendly staff. We enjoyed.

This place in gr8 in all aspects, starting from the very helpful reception team, quick check in, variuos pools (some are heated in winter), small aqua slides for kids to enjoy, the professional energetic animation team who exerts all efforts to make us busy all day and night engaging in various pool activities and special shows at night. Gr8 food full of delicious varieties, each day with a different theme, grills and yummy deserts. Special thanks to Chef Ahmed and Chef Emad. The houskeeping as well was spotless, rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished. The beach is a little bit away but it is a walkable distance. The great aqua (jaz water world, a fun world for adulds and children) is accessible for extra fees but you can include it with the room rates upon reservation, reached by an open bus provided by the hotel, 3 min away. Our experience was wonderful and definitely will come again with the rest of the family.

Spacious, clean family rooms. Room service is on the ball.
Pools clean. Pool service has decreased compared to 2 years ago. The four of us were a bit disappointed. However, the standard of hygiene has improved a little, especially in the toilets near the pool and in the restaurants. That was very gratifying.
The two main restaurants, El Nakhil and Sunflowers, were plentiful and well-balanced in terms of the food on offer.
In El Nakhil the service staff was absolutely bad. Although friendly, you waited half an hour for the drinks and they often didn't arrive as ordered. We were disappointed there.
In Sunflowers it was completely different. As soon as the glass was empty it was refilled. Top service. We will especially miss Samuel. He already knew what we wanted before we ordered it.
The lobby was also great. We have grown fond of camels here.
Unfortunately, the shows were too passive for our taste. You could hardly dance yourself. But that's a matter of taste.
It was about 900m to the beach. Not even a 10 minute walk. Absolutely fine.

Amazing stay at Saraya. The entertainment team are brilliant and the complex itself is lovely. The only issue we had was with the waiters who came across rude and tried to force us out the restaurant at 9 clock.

We here for a week with 2 families (totally 7 people), we liked and enjoyed everything, food was magnificent and animation the best ever, special thanks for Anastasia, Max, Emili, Jussuf, Julia and Poli, Romi.

Excellent hotel. In terms of infrastructure and service, it's 5 stars. The animation team and the evening activities are excellent. The buffet is very good.
I gave it 4 stars because of the slow internet and due the lack of fresh juices in the buffet.

Has since 2009 traveled every year to saraya with the family, to recover from everyday stress! The staff are super nice and great variety of food in the restaurants! The surroundings are nice and the service excellent! A small walk down to the beach which is a long sandy beach with access to drinks and even food! Can really recommend this place as there are lots of fun things to do with your family!

JAZ MAKADI SARAYA is a very nice hotel area, the pool is great, the food tastes delicious and the entertainment is the best. I feel very well here and would like to come back anytime! :)

A hotel that definitely deserves its stars.
Every wish is fulfilled here. It is extremely clean and the curse of the Pharaoh, as many call him, does not come to this hotel. Cleanliness and purity are always given here.

I would definitely go back to this hotel next time.

Have had a wonderful two week stay in Jaz Makadi Saraya. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day with a surprise animal made out of towels on the bed every day! All the staff were so friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely and plenty to choose from, even for our fussy kids! Always had a sunbed around the pool and the beach was a stone throw away. The shuttle bus to the watermark was superb and the kids loved the water park- plenty to do. The animation team are something else! They are all so hard working and so so friendly! Always keen to get everyone involved and so much activities for the kids and the adults!! Bubbles and Yussef are our favourites! Such funny guys and always so happy and nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommend this hotel for the animation. team! We will definitely be back!

Disapointed i would not say this is a 4.5 star. Not much option on food, alot of germans in fact im glad i went with my sister and her partner aswell as no one spoke english. Resort was ok. Room cleaner was nice tried to speak to us about football and made amazing animals on the bed with towels.

Weather was nice and resort pretty clean though and children friendly i think, animation team seem nice, maybe time of year but not much entertainment and sometimes and struggled with language. Yesterday i went to get some pizza from the pool snack bar and they had a big pot of flour on the side which there was about 5 birds eating and bathing themselves in, i informed the cook and he said ok thanks and then wrapped it in cling film and went to put back out. Well me being me i said to them they have to throw it away all these people here eating, you cant give them pizza from that. I informed the tui guide on site but whether they threw it away or not im not sure.
It was my 30th birthday while here and one of the reception staff came over to me and my party at the pool and asked how our holiday was going i said it was ok but mentioned that the variety of food wasnt very good he gave me and my party a free a la carte meal at the grill which was lovely but he asked to use my phone to show me the menu which he didnt show me. He then walked away and i looked at my phone i had recieved an email saying i had given the resort a 5* which he done ( not me ) he also took 2 others from my party and done the same so this is my review. I am still here currently and not very happy today. It was overcast all day and at aprox 4.30pm we got in the pool and was asked extremely rudely to get out of the pool at 5.30pm even though we were having fun, we got out and they were asking us to hurry up so they can put away the sun loungers which i will point out there was still quite a few people still sitting on their loungers but no not us we got hurried off of ours.
As i entered this review while still there the office manager asked to see me and we had a chat about my concerns in which he apologised and offered us all in the party a gift. He seemed genuine and nice.
I would not say this is a 4.5* hotel i think more of a 3* and thats being nice.

Currently staying at Jaz Makadi Saraya hotel. We are having a wonderful time! Staff are so friendly and can t do enough for you. Facilities are fab and the whole place is spotless with beautiful gardens. The beach is a pleasant short walk away - again spotlessly clean and great facilities. We have really enjoyed snorkelling. Our 3 children (aged 5-13) have plenty to do and we are spoilt for food choices! We would love to come back again

If you want to go for a winter sun holiday and stay at a luxurious hotel, with sandy beaches, great service and food, then consider this place.
The suites were top drawer (amazing bath tubs), food delicious and the guest services outstanding. Arguably one of the finest hotels we have stayed at. Decent hotel tour rep too.
Its a shame Hurghada's tourist trade has taken a hit as more people should visit this hotel.
Snorkelling and diving from the beach was great.
I would recommend that the TV's in the room get upgraded, as they were not of the standard of an Oberoi

Very very beatiful Animation Team an excellent Hotel

Really good service, happy staff and functional whole hotel for a family holiday. Pasta on request, as well as lunch and dinner was good, fresh snackit at the pool bar. The queue is not full week anywhere else than munakasasemalla breakfast and a coffee machine.

Lots of space pool area with sun beds, a heated pool was a pleasing 5-year-old. Even empty in cafes, so it was nice to calm.

Animation team familiar and relaxed.

Room slightly worn but functional, we got a room exchanged, when the first one was facing the main road and noisy. Good air conditioning, friendly cleaners.

Very nice hotel and friendly, really fast service. Clean pool area and restaurants. Room was a little dated but worked fine, friendly cleaners. Animation team was warm and welcoming.

So after thinking about it for a long time, I decided on 3 stars and not four. The hotel is big and nice from the location. But I hate getting up at seven on vacation to put my towel on the loungers by the pool. If you don't do it, you won't get two couches standing side by side after breakfast at 10:00. Because all the loungers are covered with towels. I didn't do it for the first three days, it said on the sign !! Reserving loungers is prohibited. Nobody sticks to it. To be woken up by the lawnmower at 7:30 a.m. isn't nice either. Our two balconies faced the street and the restaurant. To the hotel's own beach, which was fantastic, you had to walk a good 10 minutes (at 45 degrees). But the snorkeling made up for it. On the second day you worked with a trend grinder from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Yes, ok if you work in the hotel but extremely annoying on vacation.
Food was good to very good.
Drinks were satisfactory. Cola and Sprite in the glass had a salty aftertaste.
What made the vacation 3 stars. It was the mega annoying dealers in the hotel area who spoke to you five times a day. In the afternoon, in the afternoon, in the evening ALWAYS! No doesn't mean no. That was so annoying in the entire hotel complex. You felt uncomfortable and bothered. Every damn vacation day.

The hotel is very well located. We were very pleasantly surprised by the service.
The only thing that should be worked on is housekeeping.
The rooms were not always perfectly clean. But could also be due to the staff.
The food is manageable.
All in all, I can recommend the hotel.!

Were here this fall. Everything is great here. The people are just perfect, the food is great and the beach is legendary and the water tastes really good and all in all, it is really good here

Outstanding hotel, our fifth times here and we still coming again next year. The rooms are perfect and clean. The service is so nice and the sun is making our vacation perfect. The beach is another place of heaven. We recommend it so much

Everything ok, especially the staff - without exception. Unfortunately expensive and bad internet. Permanently register again and jerky. TV too bad. Only Arte partly French partly German. ZDF sometimes often no. Many Russian and Arabic channels, but hotel guests mostly German.

Jaz Makadi Saraya is such a great hotel. Our highlight there was the Olympic Day. It was a great feeling that our hotel wins almost everywhere. I want to thank everyone (Amr, Sabry, Taher, Ramy, Julia and Moustafa). We will definitely come back next year.

Fantastic holiday couldn't be happier. All the staff are very helpful, rarely having to even go to the bar for a drink k as after a day or 2 they would know what you like and will simply fetch you another drink when they see an empty glass. The animation team were very good aswell, we personally are not much of an activity couple but they were always very up beat and always entertaining everybody around the pool through the day. Overall it's the easiest 5 stars I've ever given and can't wait to come back. Thankyou

Hotel facilities and everything about the place is fab. Amr,panda,moustafa and the rest of the animation are complete legends. Giggsy is the best barman in Egypt. Will definitely return again

Super recommendable are only thursday here but in the time everything is really great service staff super friendly food also great everything clean so far every effort is made to make you feel comfortable here and we have more days ahead of us and look forward to it

This hotel is brilliant me and my family have had a great week, the room the food and the amazing staff have made it better than we thought and ready to book again for next year.

A very good hotel, with a nice facility and a nice beach. The entertainment is great and you have a great variety of activities, as well as various shows in the evening. The animation team is very nice and the staff always polite. Everyone always strives for the well-being of the guests. The food is delicious and the selection was great. It was a very nice time and we like to come back.

Beach: entering the sea is moderately smooth, relaxing with children

2 and 5 years old, great for children, adults are also comfortable, don t have to go too far to swim. Nearby is a beautiful coral reef, where there are a lot of different fish (you saw moray eels, octopus and dozens of different types of fish, probably even more than when you went on a submarine trip) there is a mortgage rental for masks with snorkels and fins.

The hotel has several swimming pools, 3 large adults, one of which is separated by a bridge (one of them is heated) and two children (one of the children is equipped with simple slides for 3 years old children, and this pool is also heated). In addition, when buying a ticket to a hotel, we sold an unlimited visit card to the water park (it was impossible to refuse) at the nearby water world hotel, there are free buses every 30 minutes, there are all-inclusive food courts in the water park (by the way, we liked makadi saraya food courts a lot more)
Makadi saraya cuisine is tasty and of high quality, there are food courts on the beach, (there is no limit on the number of servings to be taken at a time),

The food is high-quality (not in adults, not in children, there has never been a gastrointestinal upset), the food is tasty and varied, the staff is friendly and helpful, but nobody canceled the $ 1 rule, then the waiters start guessing thoughts and everything becomes even better. I was also very pleased that after the arrival time the morning) the tour operator postponed the departure at 21:00 pm, the hotel did not remove the bracelets and the food courts as restaurants remained fully available (although a substantial surcharge was required for the option to leave the room before departure, we refused this option) For departure, as for any tour trip, the hotel carefully prepared lunch boxes, and on a second visit, they prepared pleasant souvenirs and a number of bonuses from the hotel. The hotel has two restaurants, one of them always works, a food court and two bars near the pools, and one food court on the beach, you can also get drinks and beer (there is no full bar on the beach), the lobby bar is open around the clock, they will offer you coffee (grain freshly ground) cocktails made from local alcohol and pure alcohol according to the all inclusive system (I recommend local rum and beer), branded alcohol and cigarettes are paid on the price list of the menu.

All vacationers can choose one of 4 Alakart restaurants for free visits (but note that the menu items marked * will still be paid).
The hotel has both paid and free Wi-Fi, it is speedy and maybe there is a limit on traffic (not exactly).
What I want to emphasize separately is the absence of insects (in May for all the time there was not a single midge, in December there were very few flies on the beach by the sea) there are insect traps in the park and not far from restaurants (there are not enough insects) to poison midges too never seen. When we were on a tour of the country from other tourists, we heard that mosquitoes were invading their hotels, asked the guide why there was no mosquitoes and midges in our hotel, the guide explained that the hotel water the plants with clean water, while hotels where there are midges water the plants cleaned sewage water which attracts midges.
The rooms are a little tired (we lived in Makadi Suite), comfortable beds, a safe. I recommend that you check when checking in which restaurant is currently operating and up to which date, so that it doesn t turn out that your room will be shrouded in smells from the kitchen; you should choose a room not near the existing restaurant.
As a rule, rooms near the small pool are quieter, all sports and music competitions are held near the large pool, it is more noisy there.
There is a children's disco, a playground with animators. There is water aerobics, and sports activities.
The contingent of vacationers is mainly German tourists.
In May, the air temperature reached +36, water +27, in December the temperature was from +25 to +29 (water +26, light wind 6-7m / s from 1st to 5th then there was calm until the 13th.
The place is very sincere, calm, were twice, we will return again.

Hi I ve just recently Stayed at jaz makadi saraya for two weeks all inclusive and I ve got to say it was absolutely brilliant one of the best places I have been it was a Beautiful Hotel very very clean all the staff Are so helpful they can t do enough for u there is so much to do, with water park, golfing, quad biking. Snorkelling in the sea was amazing, the coral reef was right nice, the hotel food was ok they try to accommodate something for everyone. The animation team was out of this world, you can have so much fun with them, especially Youssef, bubbles was fantastic, also Anya, bea and snoopy! We would definitely go back here, we loved it.

Saraya and the reception were already very nice and attentive. Our room is great. Everything is clean and nicely and comfortably furnished. The pools were great too. Especially the choice between the Ruhrpool and the animation pool! :-) The food was varied and delicious. The entertainers were very nice, funny, attentive and we had a lot of fun with them. The service was great too.

Very cozy. Purely. The attendants are courteous and attentive. Non-received, and so everything is at a very high level. Of the rest most Europeans.
