Basic room. Was surprised you could only have 1 towel at the pool, first time ever. Breakfast has a nice variety. Staff friendly and helpful.

You can live, alcohol like in Egypt, food on the level

Great hotel. Specially for couples as kids are not allowed. Sometimes me and my beloved wife we need a break from even beautiful kids . Location is very good on the beach.

Well, it's better for Dutch people who are also welcome!

The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because we had a mild food poisoning in the hotel (nothing to be done, extreme heat + food left out in a buffet), and the personnel, mostly described by other guests as 'friendly', gave me (a young woman) vile looks and some even permitted themselves to make comments on my bikini etc. I even avoided ordering drinks at the pool bar because every time I felt their eyes on me and it was very, very disturbing. Not all personnel was like that, but quite some were (being 99% men). otherwise great value for the price, nice pool area, great connection to a private beach on the island, delicious food and drinks.

A real dream vacation - this hotel actually deserves five stars!
The food, and especially the service, was outstanding! An insider tip are the daily changing lunch salads, which, with luck, can even be prepared personally by the hotel manager!
Each of the hotel employees had a smile on their faces - requests were read from their eyes: the special omelette was already ready at breakfast and the drinks in the lounge came to their place as if by themselves - a dream!
Housekeeping has left the rooms clean and every now and then great towel figures.
The only point of criticism: the rooms are unfortunately a bit worn and out of date , the attached brackets and equipment wobble here and there, but everything is still clean - you can just tell the age of the furnishings. Reported defects were fixed on the same day (you could, however, ask the question whether something like this should be noticed by the guest or whether the hotel shouldn't have noticed ... things like: defective light bulbs, defective shower head, defective door hinges)
Since for me the room is mostly only used to sleep, this is a complaint on a high level - especially because the rest was 110% convincing! I will definitely come back!

Very good hotel with very friendly service in all areas. The fantastic location by the sea as well as the lagoon and the harbor is great (only (occasionally) the nightly disco noise from the open air disco at the harbor was disturbing to sleep).

There is a daily changing theme buffet, very good and very tasty. We would love to come back. And El Gouna is worth a trip anyway!

Just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks here and are already looking to book for next year.
This was our second visit to TCOV and once again all our expectations were met and exceeded.
The food is of excellent quality, diverse and always fresh. Hans Peter, the manager was always in attendance with a delicious salad when required. Lots of variety every day.
The hotel was always soptlessly clean and the staff are always so pleasant and helpful. The guys around the pool are always helpful and no trouble at all getting a bed. "Soft" Animation is on at the main pool and a big thank you to Hagi for the Boccia games.
Duport pool is good for lazing about away from the main pool. The food on offer here is of good quality but it is extra from the AI, which didn't bother us, however all drinks are included. 

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do nearby then this hotel & Abu TIg Marina are the place to base yourself.

We can't wait to return ... See you all again soon.

10 days in November 2019, all inclusive. Ideal accommodations for divers. The boat dock is right on the terrace. Price performance was to our trip o.k. Return seems safe !!

First the negative points: The bathroom in our room is very old, but not worse than in German 2 star hotels.
The positive points: location great, food fantastic, service excellent.
I have gluten intolerance and the guests were asked during the tour of the hotel whether there were any allergies. They really care and I get extra food for lunch and dinner.

The food is not the best ... but the rooms are fine ...and it's on the best location on el gonna looking right on the marina

I spent the worse vacation of my life because of this hotel. the man in the reception was not nice at all. the room service , and restaurant and people out of the doors are polite but the reception is horrible. each time I call them they don't answer to the Phone . the director of the hotel wasn't very nice. they replace the mirror of a piece of wood and the director say "it's the style of the hotel" (you can see the picture and judge by yourself). in spite of saying they are sorry because it's not a 4 stars level. the shower is very small all the water goes out. the king bed is very small.
they made noise because of reparation in the hotel in front of my room I couldn't sleep at all !!!! and I couldn't go to party they always wake me up more than four times with their noises without any respect. I didn't feel they treat women like men. the air air conditioning wasn't working it cuts alone after 30 minutes !! it's really a shame. they put out the light at night !! and when you enter in the reception at night you can't see anything!! I asked them to make the light on they said "no we are at night" !! basically EL GOUNA it's for party at night and vacation so how you close the light at night??? you don't feel safe when you enter at night. I was also very disappointed about the feedback of the director he asked : you don't see good things in the hotel ? in spite of making excuses about all the bad points how bad vacation we had.I went out to ask that they stop the sound of the drill after 2 hours of waiting and waking me up each time because of reparation.

Why do so many people go back holiday after holiday? It is the very best in so many ways -location, comfort, staff and food everything is excellent. The hotel and staff are just like old friends whether it is a first visit or a twenty first.

I did like staying here in 2016. It was in February so the hotel wasn't fully booked. Plus people from Poland were afraid to hit the road to this part of the world. But I have nothing to 'grumble and mumble' about - people were friendly, open minded, spoke English. What else to say?

Unfortunately, only the stupid Hotbird and not Astra satellite! Food could be better ....

Like every year a really good service and great food. The best thing is that you can not reserve beach chairs until a certain time. For those who like to go diving optimal location because a really good dive center directly at the hotel with the associated dock for the boat is.

A wonderful hotel with a five-star service, now I am in it, and I would advise anyone who wants to visit Hurghada to live in El Gouna and this particular hotel. The restaurant's buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner includes indescribable food from the variety of salads, appetizers and main dishes of various kinds, juices, soft drinks, desserts and hot drinks. The reception is wonderful, the staff are cheerful and respectful, their treatment is elegant, and the internal services are also elegant in the rooms, the restaurant and the swimming pool. The rooms are clean and a good size.
In general I recommend this hotel for its luxury.

Revelation! Food very good. Remember only about disinfection but bartenders hearing the Slavic language know how much to pour. Tips welcome :) Rooms clean. Location on the edge of the sea. Do not feel hot. The semi-free busik transports you to the slightly kite base away from the hotel: ReadSeaZone. There are no weak points, I recommend.

Horrible hotel. The reception are impolite and room service never answer to the phone. Air conditionner close alone . Mirror is broken. Noise in the hotel because they are reparing the hotel that has always problems
