Walked in to register for an event and nobody said anything.
Attended a wedding at the Hyatt. The staff was very nice and took care of all the guest at the wedding.
The rooms are in great condition and smell good. The view is nice from the rooms. Parking is nice but expensive.
Very lovely place. My family as eaten there for years! The wait staff is always excellent!
Parking isn't fun (it's a hike) but this hotel is otherwise excellent. Would most definitely stay here again!
No better place in Wichita to hold a sales conference for 500+ people. Great rooms and amenities. Very good food.
Loacation was perfect. Great view of the river and many fun places in walking distance. Bus driver was incredibly friendly and helpful in learning about the city.
It was a little hard to navigate exits for pedestrian tours.
It's easy to feel jaded about customer service when you receive what passes for customer service these days, but the staff at the Hyatt Regency Wichita really work at it and their effort is noticed.
A wonderful place to stay, I was there on business.
Very nice hotel. Comfy beds, good food, and a Starbucks express in the lobby! Great customer service! Would highly recommend!
I visited the Hyatt for a private event. I was in the conference room mostly, but the staff was awesome and friendly.
Attended a business conference at the Hyatt. Didn't park on the parking garage as it wasn't free and there wasn't enough parking in the lot across the street (there was another conference going on at the same time). Lastly, no vneding machines near the conference room, only a small cafe with charged $3 for a bottled soda. Didn't stay at the hotel, would cannot speak to the quality of the rooms.
We attended a casino night event with Meritrust Credit Union. The event was catered and everything was amazing. A great evening.
Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms. They also have plenty of options for hosting events.
This hotel was a great venue for the Opera gala. The staff was very professional and courteous. The sound system was very clear and the lighting was perfect.
Love staying here when I am in Wichita. Very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms, great location and very good food at the restaurant.
Great facilities and friendly staff! Attended a catered meal where they went out of their way delight my 2 young kids. What could have been a screaming meal instead was a fun time my young kids really enjoyed.
I attended this place playing Pokemon go. The hell hops are super friendly and the front lobby and outer area is super clean.
Many clients friends and family have stayed at the hyatt for some time now. Always top notch service and friendly faces. Highly recommended!
Attentive service, eclectic food and drinks. Love the layout and view of the river.
Room was comfortable and clean. The desk was a little awkward to work on though.
Unfortunately not a good stay at all as we were given a room that did not have hot water readily available. I was not made aware of this issue upon check in. The first 2 phone calls to the front desk I was told engineering was fixing it. Then the 3rd phone call I was told that because of the low occupancy, the hot water was not flowing to my room so I had to call the front desk every time I needed them to run the hot water. I was never given the option to switch rooms and was never proactively offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. At check out I discussed the issue with a supervisor and was offered a WOH point credit to my membership, which I did receive 5k points (equal to a one stay at that property). Being a loyal globalist member, I've never been more disappointed in Hyatt than I was for that stay and I felt the situation was handled very poorly.
We love how quiet the room was. We had a great view of the city we could enjoy from our bed and dispute the large window view we were able to pull the curtains and sleep in total darkness during mid day. My only complaints are minor. My outlet on my bedside table was not working and I would have liked to have a second door hanging room service preorder for our second breakfast in bed. There was also no information in the room about the pool and hot tubs and we had to call the desk to find out where it even was located.
Deceiving Habana nigth, turn out to be a band playng marron 5 like music, the band director was very rude when i ask if they will play any variaty or request, second year peolple walk out disapointed.
Loved it great room service great ice cream and fun pool
Won't be staying here again, ever. Sorry we didn't book the Hotel at Old Town and opted to save a few bucks for a tiny hotel room and run by a bunch of rude kids.
The air conditioning wasn t cooling the banquet room very well. The administrative staff was nice and responded to complaints. The wait staff were not helpful or polite. They delivered half the meals to our table and the other half waited a long time even after asking several wait staff that walked by. The food was pretty bad. This was a pretty bad representation of Wichita to a group from across the state.
This hotel has so much potential, with a beautiful location on the Arkansas river and great views from the rooms. The fitness center is really nice, but the pool was crowded and needed maintenance. The food at the restaurant was overpriced. We only ordered veggies and dip and it took forever to be served to our table. Drinks were good but high priced. The room needed a lot of maintenance as the carpet was threadbare and there was mildew in the shower. It was pretty clean though and we had nice toiletries, pillows, and towels. All of the staff from housekeeping, to the front desk, to the bar, to the coffee shop were friendly and helpful. They could invest a little into the rooms and I would give this 5 stars.
The Hyatt Regency in Wichita is a beautiful hotel. I visited for a trade show and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was helpful and the place was clean and inviting.
Christmas visit, hotel was very festive and made us feel welcome
Awesome rooms, good food downstairs
Breakfast buffet when it is running is to die for.
2md floor conference room. Good staff, clean, well lit room.
Centrally located. Nice meeting rooms. Friendly staff
The rooms are super clean and the views of Wichita are stunning towards the top.
Nice Midwest conference location. Parking is strange, have to walk about half a mile with your luggage, and food is overpriced. Room tv is enormous! Not a big Wichita tourist.
Beautiful walk and very nice place to visit. Service dog friendly.
The meeting rooms were laid out well. The meals provided were okay, the Hilton provides a better lunch though.
We've chosen the Hyatt a couple of times because we know we'll get an adequate room and good service. It's nothing special, the rooms are very basic and a little cramped. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. There is a parking garage connected, so parking is easy (that's an extra $10 a night).
We haven't tried any of the food, it looks good, but like any room service, you pay extra for the convenience. Nice bar, stays busy but you rarely have to wait long.
It's not luxury, but I'd recommend it, and we'll likely use it again in the future.
Nice Hotel. Sits right on the Riverwalk in downtown. Like the bathroom mirror with the digital clock inside.
Beautiful hotel. I went here for a Physical Therapy conference where I spent most of my time in one of the ballrooms. It was well set up and they provided coffee, water and tea, as well as, a basic breakfast.
Hotel was really nice. But their website fails to advise that you must have at least $50.00 deposit on your credit card, plus cost of room. They will not accept cash deposit. You would think that they would advise you of this when reservation is made online.
Had a recent stay at the Wichita Hyatt. This morning, at approximately 2.20 am the Fire Alarm went off telling everyone to exit the hotel. Do not use the elevator. Use the stairs only. Many guests rushed to the stairs to get out. As many guests stood outside, many barely clothed, waited for some communication from the Hyatt staff. Over a hour passed and no one came. After seeing the fire trucks come and go my wife and I decided to walk to the lobby. The lobby was full of guests but no sign of anyone that worked for the Hyatt. Eventually we able to take the service elevator back to our room. Horrible emergency communication. They did offer us a free breakfast upon check out. We respectfully declined. Hope your stay is better than ours! #WEWONTBEBACK
Nice comfortable rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Very nice for the price.
Stopped and had a late lunch(ish) there. Service was spectacular and food was superb. Would do again for sure.
I had lunch at the heritage kitchen. It was good enough, but considerably more expensive than most restaurants for what you get.
For the price they charge you would think internet should be better and the rooms bigger. Guess not. Long walk from parking garage
I was only in the ballrooms and hallway by them. Very nice. Bathrooms serviced frequently. Important given how many girls were in attendance. Fresh water and glasses put out several times during workshop
Pool and hot tub well maintained. Room was clean. Staff friendly
It has walls and doors and air conditioning. Very habitable
Motel was nice, but everything was expensive. Staff was there but did not go out of way.
I was not thrilled on my stay. Ordered a corner king room with walk in shower and couch.(more spacious). Upon 20 minutes in my room determined the AC Aas not working. Afterward I was moved to another room that was just a standard room. No walk in shower and much less space. Still charged me the full price of the other more expensive room. Will not be staying here again. A as supposed to be a nice get away in town with my wife and I got shorted what I payed for.
Stayed here while in town seeing a show at the Century 2 Theater. Amazing to be so close to the theater, and a beautiful building. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Front desk attendants were friendly and prompt. Would definitely stay again.
The place charges for everything. I've stayed in motels that were nicer and had more free amenities. Nothing here is free and everything cost way more then it's worth. Dont get the pizza. The menu says $20 for a 2 topping pizza but after all the fees they add on it cost $38. Which if it had more then 4 mushrooms and about 2 ounces of sausages and didn't taste like cardboard I still wouldn't feed it to a hobo. Also this is very important. Do not giving them your email or phone number because you will forever get email and telemarketers calls for the rest of your life. Unsubscribe will not work asking to be taken off the callers list will not work. If my company didn't make us stay here for our annual retreat I would never stay here again. The saying you get what you pay for does not apply to this hotel. This is my 4th year here and it doesn't get better with time.
Staff and conference rooms were excellent. Clean and well kept.
Great hotel I attend a lot of events there and they do a good job of helping things run smoothly.
Attended a conference event. Parking was convenient. Room space and catering were adequate.
