Beautiful hotel on the Arkansas River. Great service, beautiful views of the city and river.

A huge 1980's Hyatt Regency however it's well maintained the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to assist.
Great downtown location within 20 minute walking distance of many restaurants and bars not to say its adjacent to the local convention center where many concerts and shows take place.
Although my room had a great view of the RIVER it had such low water level it looked like a latrine. No fault of the hotel just dont go in expecting beautiful flowing river because today it was anything but flowing or beautiful.

I have attended at least 8 large events at this facility and I have never experienced a failure. The WiFi has always been solid, the electricity, bathrooms and room options have always been good.

Great location, nice rooms, good views. Love the river jogging trails!!

All the staff was very polite and nice. The meals were delicious and very eloquent. A little pricy, but overall a great place.

Attended the NFA convention here, everything was great! In house catering for the event was excellent. If I can ever go back, I will!

The staff were prompt, respectful, and very skilled in handling people. Clean and on the river for some nice rooms with a view.

The location is nice -- downtown, within walking distance of concert events, neighborhood restaurants and cafes, etc. There is a parking garage. The rooms are very nice. The staff is excellent.

Husband and I stay here as a date when there is something going on at Intrust Bank Arena. We live in Wichita, but having a room for the night at a great concert event, is like being in another city.

Did not have a probably last time visiting what so ever. This time is a whole lot different. This place is seriously money hungry. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel. We made the reservation using our card weeks ago and last night during check in we thought we were using the same card. The front desk did not turn the card away or check to see if the names matched. We now have two separate charges onto our account for this hotel claiming we changed our card on file. If we did, we were unaware. The front desk did not notify us at the time of check in that we were doing so. We did not become aware of this situation until later the next day when we notice the second charge. So trying to save this vacation my husband and I decided that we should just cut our time short and check out early. We ended up talking to the manager. I asked to talk somewhere privately and he rudely said no that we could talk at the front desk. He told us checking out early that they'll just charge us all the nights we had reserved simply because it's passed check out time. This manager and his front desk employees were very rude and show no empathy or compassion. This will be our last time staying here. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Staff was helpful, rooms were spacious and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

Had a great time food was decently priced my plate was proportioned well and the rooms were very clean staff was great.

We enjoyed our room & the view. Only downside was the extremely-watered down drinks we got from the bar. Seriously, I've had stronger Kool-Aid. It could have had something to do with the fact that there were two, cute, giggling young ladies being served at the bar lol. We'll give the bar another try though, could have been an off night lol.

Great location on the river downtown, Chuck in the lobby, and Betty and Dylan in the restaurant were great! Nice room, overall excellent!

Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, however DON'T stay in a room next to the elevators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The walls here are thin enough to hear someone coughing in the next room.

Downtown wichita. Great service and hospitality and the rooms were very clean and organized.

Definitely a business hotel. Indoor pool and 2 indoor hot tubs. Right along the river that has a nice walking path. I'm pretty sure I had mild food poisoning from the nachos but I'll never know. The coffee shop has weird hours, but overall a decent hotel.

A clean, beautifully renovated chain hotel. Great rooms. What more could you want in a Hyatt?

Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Lots if amenities and located centrally of Wichita. Room service. Space for events. always something going on here. Get beautiful building. Rooms are clean smell nice and customer service is great. I will be staying here again. Thanks

Great rooms and amazing staff. Car wouldn't fit in the parking deck. 7ft max.

I worked there as a temporary dishwasher.
I enjoyed it the kitchen employees and employer were very pleasant to work with.

Also the soaps they have in the bathroom smell great and don t bother my skin at all. For someone with hyper allergies this is great! I highly recommend staying here! Especially if you want to be able to walk up the river to see the Keeper of The Plains (:

Room Service is easy and overall just a great place!

Stayed the night for my granddaughters birthday and room was nice, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and had a blast The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Would stay again for sure.

The Hyatt itself seems like a nice hotel. Anime Festival Wichita, the event I was here for, less nice. Compared to other anime conventions in the midwest, it's painfully small and inauthentic. My visit was only for the convention, so unfortunately I don't have much to say about the hotel itself!

The hotel is very nice, landscape is relaxing. Staff is friendly. We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary so we made last min reservations and requested a room over looking the river. For the price we paid, our expectations were kind of high. Even though the room was nice, the grounds were relaxing, our room was very dusty, bedding was dirty, we found condom wrappers and hair products left from someone else. We contacted front desk who was friendly but was told they had nothing else to offer is and they had no clean staff to cleanthe room. A member of management offered to clean our room so we took that as good enough. Upon returning to our room, we did have new bedding, however the dust was still everywhere and the hair products were not picked up. I would consider returning in hopes the next room is cleaner!

I am from the area but came to the hotel for dinner with some friends and their family from out of town. The food was pretty good. They had a bread that had what I believe to be rosemary in it. I also had some buffalo wings and some chicken and dumplings. The wings were what I expected they'd be; however the chicken and dumplings seemed more of a chicken noodle soup. It was more broth-like than traditional chicken and dumplings. Be aware of the 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. I left additional tip without knowing until after the check was picked up. The food was good enough to replace a home cooked meal, but it isn't my first choice to go out to eat.

Pleasant staff. Comfortable rooms. Easy access to restaurants via free trolley service. Nice walkway on the water.

Chicken was a little tough and dry and so was the pasta. The cheesecake was great!

Very nice venue for profession conferences. Easy parking and navigation.

Excellent Fitness Center,! The pool was busy so I skipped it, looked nice though! No "mandatory" masks, Friendly staff! I would like to add that there were several events going on utilizing the hotel... I counted at least 4 yet the hotel didn't feel crowded!

Attended for a work fubction for my wife's job. The atmosphere was good and good sound system. The only issue was the food. The steaks were all served med/rare and chicken was served with a Romenesco that did not mach the seasoning of the chicken.

Elevator in parking garage didn't work and I was not told how far away the parking garage was from the rooms. I booked for 3 nights and was told it included a free "to go" breakfast ( I remember because I asked what that was). When I ordered, I was told it was not included in the room charge.
I was very disappointed with the hotel.

Attended a seminar there and food was excellent as was the service. Very clean place and would visit it again.

I've attended work events here many times with no problems. Staff and food were great!

It's a really nice place to stay.. The bed is comfy and they give you 4 feather down pillows. This is so relaxing even though it's a business trip. I feel like I am on vacation ..you have to put a cc on file for incidentals just Don't drink the bottle water left in the room.. They will charge you for it $6

Disaster stay. Had to remake the Bed? Nothing worse than that in my opinion. Maskless people everywhere. Nice Covid Hotspot. Pretty view.

I attended a 3 day retreat at the Hyatt and was pretty happy overall with the experience. The sleeping room was clean and well-appointed and the Riverview conference room was very well-suited to our needs, although the temperature control left something to be desired. The catering staff took good care of us but the food was only a little better than OK. The food in the restaurant was also just good, not excellent, and typically overpriced for a hotel restaurant. The staff was courteous, though I think they could do a better job of letting people know how to use the key card for the elevator and parking garage.

Staff didn't talk much but there was lots of room and the rooms where clean (once they finally cleaned them) overall it was a fun experience with Kansas thespians (all 2200) of us staying there! Especially loved the fact that Starbucks is inside the hotel!
