The hotel was in the late stages of the transformation from Hyatt to Hilton. Good location, walking distance to the revolutionary sites. Smooth and friendly checkinn, helpfull congierge, spacious room with excellent beds. We got a very good deal on priceline (40 % of the advertised price). One disadvantage: the very noisy highway running on the landside of the hotel. And one more; exorbitant pricing for parking. For the rest highly recommended.

Quite, nice location, room service is very good.. The reception stays on top of everything.. Bar is nice and it has live music.. The only thing is that it says that it has Starbucks, in fact it is just brewed coffee in a container, self service.. I thought it was Starbucks with barista..

The hotel is right on the water and has excellent and fantastic views of the bridge ,river, and city. It is also along the beautiful River Walk. Staffs of the hotel are friendly and pleasant. Executive Lounge provides good food and slacks, open 24 hours. Besides the fantastic views, the guest rooms are so basic, simple and plain, and totally incomparable and incompatible to other Hilton hotels. They are more like Hampton inn or even lower standard. That is the reason I minus one star on the rating.

We were there for the fireworks on the 4th. We had a great view of many fireworks north of the Ben Franklin Bridge. Being a holiday, the place was full and very busy. The staff was generally helpful, but seemed to be lacking in info about the events. For example, we were told we'd have a great view of the fireworks at Penn's Landing from our room. I'm not sure if they moved the launch site due to the weather, but the only rooms that would have seen them were on the hotel's east side. Getting from the garage to the lobby is a bit of a hike - especially if you're disabled. It's a long walk and 2 elevator rides to the lobby, then one more to the room. I recommend valet parking if you have mobility issues. Parking is expensive ($32 self, around $45 valet), but you're also at the water very near downtown, so it'sto be expected. Hilton Diamond and Gold get access to the executive lounge (different from normal Honors policy), which is on the first floor next to the front desk. The location was very different from most properties (i.e. on the executive floor). We weren't told about the hours for snacks, so I had no idea when they're were available. Soft drinks and coffee were readily available. Gold and Diamond breakfast is also served here. Breakfast spread was relatively small but nice and good quality. There were 3 hot items (eggs, potatoes, sausage) and the rest was continental. We had two issues work our stay. The biggest issue was the room's cleanliness. Our bathroom was not cleaned very well. The floor hadn't been swept, there was hair in the tub and sink from the last guests, and it took 2 calls, a front desk visit, and nearly 2 hours to get resolved. Other needs (extra pillows and blankets) were addressed quickly. Noisy guests were the other issue. Being next to the elevator, some people were really loud - especially after coming back up from the fireworks. It's not fun listening to what seems to be a big party in the elevators after 11pm. At least it dissipated in about 10 minutes. The hotel's main advantage is the location. Right on the water and walking distance to several main attractions. As a Hilton Diamond, I've stayed at a lot of properties. This certainly isn't the nicest Hilton I've stayed at, but not the worst either. I would likely stay at another property, unless I needed to be right in that area or others weren't available.

Customer service here is amazing - from the valet, check in, and bellhops. We got a lovely view and the bed was comfy. Its proximity to major roads made going other places in the city a snap. Definitely would come again.

Stay there for a business meeting, they're great for travelers, the right on the water too and very close want to the Liberty Bell and the building where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Just be sure you don't wander off too far the beaten path as it can go from touristy to not so nice real quick

Nice clean rooms. Had a very spacious executive suite on the 21st floor. Food is reasonably priced for room service. Central location of Penn's Landing has easy access to all of old city and is a short Uber away from anything else of interest. In the summer check out the harbor park and in the winter there's ice skating close by. Also worth a walk to Cherry and Race Street Piers.

Excellent stay, fast and friendly service. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with a great view of Penn's Landing. The tv was a little small, but then again I wasn't traveling to Philadelphia to watch TV. They had the entire hotel decorated for Christmas and it was very tasteful and provided some much needed holiday cheer. Overall, a great stay and I would return happily!

Room service food was left out from breakfast until almost 2AM! The staff were horrible including someone that rode the elevator who was annoyed I spoke to him. He appeared to have vomit all over his work shirt and was tapping his foot impatiently.

This Hilton is new, so it's in great condition. It's located in historic old city and there is plenty to do in that neighborhood. It's about a 10 minute cab ride from center city so if you trip is expected to be mostly there then there may be better options.

The suite that we stayed in was a little dated. The food at the Rope and Anchor in the lobby was good and worth the price. The location was great with views of the river and the bridge available from some rooms. The historic ships are only a 5 minute walk away.

I recently stayed at the Hilton for the first time. Overall the staff was very nice, the room clean and the atmosphere nice. The room had a nice tv and and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great as well including the omlette station. Although the breakfast was included, we got a bill for it and had to talk to the waiter to explain it again instead of being charged 50 dollars for it. Once we talk to him again he was able to resolve it.

Lovely hotel with pretty details and fantastic service. Nice WARM pool with a smooth tile floor. We do have the same painting side by side in our room which is a bit strange and can smell pot in the hallway. Other that that great hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, right next to Spruce St Harbor Park, easy access to Old City and South Street. The rooms were nice, and you can't beat the view! We looked out over the river and South Philly.

Please do not stay here. The rooms are adequate, but despite signage in the Lobby and elevators stating otherwise, none of the restaurants are open, even for carry out. After two days of no maid service I was informed that you had to request service one day in advance, despite signage in the room stating otherwise. Fair hotel, VERY poor service.

Fantastic views of the harbor. Lovely rooms. Nice restaurant/bar, very easy access from upstate NY thru Philly and to hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially Jon who both met our car and, several days later saw us off, the check-in person who suggested a better room than we had selected, and a very friendly and attentive maid. Super experience all around.

We had a nice stay here while visiting for a special event. We had a nice view from a room of the Delaware River. Other than that the room was pretty basic nothing too exciting about it nothing too special but it was clean and functional

My companion and I came here for dinner and a few drinks on Saturday night. We sat out on the patio, which gave us a great view of the water. The food, drinks, and service were all good. I would come back again.

Watched the security staff verbally abuse a disabled woman on Friday. The disabled woman was being verbally abused by her Uber driver and the security staff threw her off the property so they could keep driveway traffic moving. So I guess Hilton hotels supports bullying or they dislike making special accommodations for disabled people. Either way I won't be staying here anymore.

My overnight stay at this Hilton was amazimg! I was very content with the service I received, and the employees were very nice. The rooms were also relatively clean, with the exception of a faulty toilet; however, this was not a huge deal. The hotel was also very close to everything: stores, restaurants, museums, etc. The fact that the Hilton was directly on Penn's Landing was extremely practical for us. Thus, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Beautiful room. Excellent location downtown. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Too bad they're a stinky business right? There are business practices i find to be dishonest, such as surprise increased fees that increased my expected stay $$by 30%. I could've picked an executive suite at another hotel for the cost of their parking! Also when I asked about the complimentary breakfast they verified my room didn't qualify.

So... surprise fees and surprise loss of service.

If you wanna be smart enjoy Philadelphia without getting ripped off. (Maybe the surprise feeling of getting robbed of your breakfast and your wallet is part of the downtown culture?) Hmmm... maybe I should thank Hilton for the true experience!!

I appreciate the kind response from the owner. I'd ask if there's a way to better advertise the lack of breakfast and the surprise parking costs during the scheduling process before the decision to purchase a room is made. That would be appropriate. Or perhaps increase your prices to cover the cost of parking. Working towards a solution is the best way to show you care. My experience is over, but I leave bread crumb reviews for the future hundreds of people to have all the information before they book.

The rooms need to be update on the bathroom part. I love the location, and the view. My kids spend a good amount of time appreciating the view and talking about the ships on the river and the runners.

Hotel was nice and having the pool area open is really nice. the biggest downfall to this is parking and getting to your room. you have to take 3 separate elevators from the parking garage to get to your room once you check in. You could tell some of the rooms were aged a little bit. the room we were in had 2 doors to the bathroom and they were hard to close, so we had to push really hard every time. They did have free coffee in the morning, however, had to ask someone where it was at as it was hidden in a different room from the lobby area. It is about a 10-15 min walk if you are planning on going to the liberty bell or anyplace around there, so just be prepared. The front desk team was really helpful as we had asked who delivered pizza in the area and they were able to give us some menus and recommendations on where to go. In addition, when we were in the pool area they were out of towels, and when we called to get some more, they had someone bring some within 15 mins. which was great.

Just stayed for one night but enjoyed it! Big king room with a city view. Walking distance to Independence Hall and related attractions. My conference was in the hotel and all the staff members were amazing, food was yum (that gluten free chocolate cake!).
