I expressed my convenience to the front desk and they changed the room for me. Good customer service.
I expressed my convenience to the front desk and they changed the room for me. Good customer service.
We've always been happy with the Hyatt regency O'Hare. It's our go to when we need a park, sleep, fly hotel. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The location is great, it only takes about 15 minutes to get to your terminal. Love it.
Breakfast costs extra. Parking costs extra. They might send housekeeping up if you specially request it...they might not. They don't even have complimentary coffee in the lobby...they have a Starbucks that doesn't maintain it's inventory.

Great day for a Spn con
Mid afternoon hours there's limited dining availability.
The weather was bad and many flights were cancelled. They had to switch my room asap because the toilet didn't work. Finally got another room at 11pm and it was not clean. There were men's socks near the desk and the patio door was open. The staff was pleasant though it was very busy.
Decent room, comfortable. No issues. Excellent staff
Wonderful venue for a convention and extremely accommodating!
It was a stay that was second to none! The service was excellent and it invoked a sense of homliness that you will simply not find at other hotels.
Clean and convenient for Ohare travelers. Friendly staff that is very helpful. Try the park and fly package.
Typical airport hotel, nothing within walking distance. Facility is older
Very clean rooms and friendly staff all over. The toilets are a bit small though.
Nothing special. Hotel is dated. The rooms are small and have a semi-dated feel to them although at some point they seem to have been updated. The restaurant in the main lobby leaves a lot to be desired. Granted my visit there was late in the evening, the service was unimpressive and the food mediocre.
Super service, excellent appointments and some very great restaurants and bars. Pricey food and snacks
It's a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a great restaurant.
Good service and rooms are nice, and the close proximity to O'Hare is a plus. Only downside is that the design is a bit dated, giving it a very 80s feel.
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare for the New Years event. My husband and I got a hotel room and all. When we first got there check in was quick and easy. Once we found our way to the room we wanted to open a bottle of wine, but found ourselves with out a wine key. Guest services were very quick to bring us one, and where extremely helpful. The new years party itself was a blast with great music, party favors, and a great selection at the open bar. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something fun and exciting to do for new years.
Rooms are spacious and well setup for conference presentations. Catering leaves a bit to be desired.
Excellent high end hotel. Looks the part staff act accordingly. Accommodations are that of a high end hotel. Great food and drink available in the bar. TV's in the rooms appear to be greater than 60" and are fantastic. The 4 glass elevators in the center of the hotel (large atrium) are impeccably clean as is the rest of the hotel.
Beautiful hotel! They were very accommodating for travelers with no luggage.Clean and nicely decorated rooms with huge TVs!
Fantastic service, spacious rooms, and very nice restrooms. My only complaint is that the red bar is overpriced for mediocre food.
Only positives about this hotel. It has been there for a long time but is very well maintained. Very good location with just a few minutes to O'Hare. Shuttle is convenient and frequent. Ate at the bar restaurant and good was excellent.
I attended a monthly planning meeting on the international level of the hotel. As always, the staff was professional & courteous.
Very fancy, but misplaced expenditures. Instead of glitzy decor, maybe free coffee or breakfast. Or a reasonable sized bathroom. Things guests actually care about
I've been at the Hyatt twice for the Launch showcase I was in. The first time was a great experience, but my family and I were disappointed by the lack of free wifi and lack of pool. The second time, mostly everything was perfect. They finally had free wifi, the service was fantastic, and our room was wonderful, but unfortunately still no pool.
The only thing that I can truly complain about, though, is that this year when I went to my showcase the Hyatt allowed the "Exxxotica Expo" (AKA a porn star convention) to book the same weekend as the showcase which had MANY children attending. I just don't think that was appropriate AT ALL, and I simply cannot believe the Hyatt allowed this to happen. I saw and heard things I never, ever wanted to see or hear, and I'm 18! I can imagine that the parents of the children must be horrified. Shame on Hyatt Regency O'Hare for booking them the same weekend!
Other than that, I had a wonderful time both times I was there and I hope to stay there again someday.
Beautiful hotel! The staff are friendly and helpful. It's located right next to O'Hare (as the name would imply) and has an airline desk right in the lobby.
Great hotel, comfy and was reasonably priced. The "L" is nearby which made it super convenient.
Excellent helpful staff and well coordinated desk service. Elevators were easy to spot. Escalators were always in service. My family loved the early breakfast. Plus room service was very helpful by getting me extra towels and a steamer. In addition the hotel itself was beautiful to stay in and gave us a good time for our first time in Chicago.
Great hotel & staff. Nice roomy and comfortable accommodations.
Very nice. Lobby very cool. The room was a bit small and you could tell was old, but remodeled. We went out to the bars and the room worked out perfectly for us for that matter.
Great staff, great food and wonderful accommodations. Within walking difference of so much.
Great hotel super staff so friendly would stay again
God doesn't offer any solace to filthy memers or other invertebrates.
Not bad, but room service threw a glass in my balcony
Great airport hotel! There was a convention while I was there and I didn t hear a thing in my room. The staff is so hopeful and I ve never had a more attentive front desk.
Short ride to the airport and shuttle provided by hotel!
Amazing place overall. Food was a bit pricey, but that is expected of in-house services. Not recommended for those with an extreme fear of heights.
It was clean, well kept, and I enjoyed the customer service.
Clean, attentive staff, good service at Red Bar. Easy access to the airport and the shuttle driver Ray was very courteous and helpful.
A nice comfy room. A big azz t.v., but no HBO or Turner Classic Movies channel??!
Perfect for our needs. We needed a place to sleep the night before our flight and able to park our car there until we returned. Close to the airport and the shuttle was prompt. Definitely will stay here again.
A great and spacious hotel. My favorite O'Hare area lodging. If you are going to an event at the convention center this is by far the best place to stay. You don't even need to go outside as the building is connected.
The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and the hotel was within walking distance to a CTA station. The hotel was located in a very quite area. Overall a great experience.
Rooms were a little outdated (executive wing ) but other than that great location, shuttle to airport and many resturnats in the hotel to go to
Always great customer service and clean. It's our go to con hotel.
Such a visually nice property but like they say, you can out lipstick on pig but it's still a pig. Stay in a lot of hotels and if you are rated 4 stars you should live up to it. Everything was great until I started to take a shower and found the glob of hair on me after I opened the drain. Then took notice of the extremely worn furniture and the painted over mold spot on the bottom of the bathroom door. Then noticing the Bobby pin and various debris and even a penny on the floor suggested it had not been cleaned very well. Aside from that I got an apology upon check out and the assurance they would alert housekeeping for future reference....ooooh thanks nice view though
Very nice and clean hotel, enormous inside, nice rooms. Breakfast not included, $17 breakfast buffet
Everything at The Hyatt O'Hare is better stay was great .
This is a great venue for events-ballrooms are large and hotel is well run. Restaurants have excellent fare, but main restaurant is not always available for dinner. Reds Bar and Grill has excellent pub food. The only drawback is uncontrollable: constant airplane noise! Bring earplugs if you need a quiet night s sleep on their cushy comfy beds.
Attended a conference there. Setup was easy, food was good, and seminars/workshops went without a hitch.
Good location close to ORD and the metro. Rooms are showing some signs of its age particularly the bathrooms but room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. There was some hallway noise especially with doors slamming but the white noise machine in the room helped me fall and stay asleep.
I enjoyed my stay here to the fullest. The rooms are large and verry confortable.
Lovely spot for conventions. Clean, nice accommodations but no pool. A bit far from the city for sightseeing.
Awesome. Close to airport, quick shuttle. Friendly customer service and shuttle personnel. Great parking, in ramp or outside. Highly recommend
Just spent 1 night for a business trip, but overall a very positive experience. Clean and modern rooms.
This hotel was comfortable, clean and has a restaurant and bar for evening enjoyment. There's restaurants near by and an outlet mall a few blocks away. We would definitely come again when were back to visit Chicago.
I attended a business event there, staff was friendly and professional.
Luxury hotel a short distance from the airport served with free shuttle.
Everything you need at a very competitive price (remember that this is a Hyatt).
Many rooms also have an accessible terrace.
Excellent cleaning, competent staff
Been here for many anime conventions and enjoy breakfast area in the am~
Use the Hyatt for parking when we fly out of OHare Airport. It's the easiest way to go! Shuttle staff and frint desj staff are so friendly and I feel safe leaving my car there. And it's super reasonable!
Missed a connection, needed a bed. Arrived late & left early, bed was very comfortable. Ginormous TV for the ballgame.
Good and solid four star hotel. Close to the airport, but some distance from the City centre. Cabs are slow and expensive.
A great hotel. Really good beds, really great staff and very serivce minded. Had a great week in Chicago staying here and closeby to the station to take a train into the city.
They attended to all needs. The staff has been great.
Great place to stay went to a conference. Must admit that when I took some interior photos in the restaurant for Google maps the manager hassled me. Very aggressive lady.
