We attended a wedding. The setup for the wedding left too little space between chairs. The food was mediocre. Everything else was fine.
Great hotel and great staff that are super nice to the crowds that come in for cons.
I went for the anime convention and everyone was friendly the only problem was that some of our towels had holes in them so i told them about it but they gave us new towels and we never got charged or anything which is good we didn't damage their towels
Went for a wedding. The venue was so beautiful and spacious! The food was good too. There were multiple weddings goong on that day but since the hotel was so huge we didn't run into the other guests.
It's a Hyatt. Food was excellent service quite good location camp I beat if you need to have a meeting near o'hare their execution at every level was really good. Downside you hear the airplanes taking off and landing.
Great atmosphere for drinks, football. Food is less than mediocre
The Hyatt has been super welcoming to Midwest furfest. I love the location, very nice place to be visiting on vacation or business.
Love this hotel. Lots of amenities and wonderful staff. I've stayed many times and will stay many more. Very modern and clean.
11th floor, could see downtown chicago, beautiful lobby... on my way there again.
Close to the airport. Nice rooms. HUGE TV's in the room. The lobby is awesome!
A very good experience... The free shuttle from the airport was effortless. Check-in was also a breeze and the service was great. My provided room was large with everything I need to get comfortable and a had a nice view of the local area.
Huge building, and very well maintained rooms. However, if you want to eat there as well, it'll be bit out of reach for many.
Overall an excellent experience.
The entire staff was friendly and accomidating. They let us check in early since we were stranded at the airport - much appreciated
The Huatt Regency O'Hare is an excellent business hotel perfectly situated adjacent to the Rosemont Convention Center and a quick walk from nearby entertainment and dining options. The hotel rooms are modern and spacious. The meeting rooms and well appointed and the restaurant, bar and on site cafe/convenient store make this the ideal meeting place.
Lobby is nice but rooms are very tired and in urgent need of renovation. Staff are very helpful and efficient and food prices are surprisingly good value. Perks Cafe is a real gem. Great food and coffee.
Best stay and fly hotel i have ever stayed in...will do it again. VICTOR is the best shuttle driver.
It's excellent for Social gathering and the service is great.
Nice place.. a bit outdated and needs some nightlife.
Room was very spacious and the hotel was very clean with attentive house keeping staff.
Had a layover in Chicago and the Hyatt Recency was comfortable and super close to airport. Fantastic service.
Very over priced. Small rooms large cost. Limited eateries within walking distance makes expensive in hotel food options almost your only option.
A fantastically beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. The rooms are uniquely designed and comfortable with easily accessible charging ports. Plus the Internet wifi works fast and is free!
We had a great stay. The regular hotel rooms are nothing special but they are very clean.
Very nice room I had a great experience. Also used the shuttle from the airport both ways very good time did not have to wait at all.
Nice hotel for a conference. Comfortable rooms, good meeting areas, and attentive staff. Restaurants are a bit expensive for what's offered but good food and drink.
Just a little inside tip. A $59 - $69 bid on priceline usually books this hotel. Don't pay retail. It's a great place to stay for conventions.
Very nice hotel and restaurants. Proximity to the airport has its pros and cons.
Very good hotel with good rooms and excellent beds. Rich breakfast. Well located with train connection nearby. The staff is excellent.
Great venue for conventions. The atrium creates a nice centralized environment for socializing, easily accessible from most of the guest rooms.
The rooms themselves vary in size, with the executive wing (more distant) rooms being a bit larger. Some rooms are oddly shaped, because of the round towers on the corners of the building -- this makes for tiny bathrooms, but having a wedge-shaped room is kinda fun from an architectural standpoint.
The hotel itself is a little out of the way, but there's some great food venues within a 15 minute walk using the convention center's skybridge.
The hotel service is generally attentive and friendly -- just as you'd expect from any large hotel like Hyatt.
It's just a really nice place to stay, always friendly and accommodating
Lots of hairy people, food was great, awesome weekend overall
Nice and cozy place to eat breakfast and good service and sleep comfortable
Great hotel, comfortable beds, good choice of eateries...
Attended a convention here and found the facilities to be clean, beautiful and comfortable. They were very supportive to the convention and really added to our good time.
I liked the room and bar on the first level. The service at the bar was outstanding. The room was nice. The price...well...its pricy there...
This hotel has a nice feel to it. Very interesting construction. Have only been here during conventions so I'm unsure about how the hotel is when it's not packed with people. Room are clean if a but outdated. Hotel restaurants are expensive
The stay and park rate is the normal hotel rate, plus you get free parking for up to 2 weeks, plus a free shuttle back and forth to the airport terminals. The only drawback for me when I stayed there is the absolutely horrific afternoon rush hour traffic getting back to my car and then leaving the property itself. If I had just parked at the O Hare lot or the ore flight parking, I d have been home over and hour earlier.
there are a lot of hotels with better value in the area. the rooms are very small , bathrooms are so small only a person can fit there. also the parking is 25$ and internet you have to pay for it. i would never go here again
The service at the hotel is always top-notch the hotel staff do their best to accommodate your every need the only gripe I have about this hotel is that there is no pool.
The pro
Spent the night on the 10th floor. Has a beautiful view looking at Chicago in the morning. The beds were comfy and I passed out right away.
The con
I don't think I got the parking for free even though we were told it was free. At 34 dollars, it adds up with two cars. Everything was closed and it was deserted. This could have been apro since none was loud
We were on the ninth (9th) floor of the main building, i.e., not the four cylindrical towers at each corner of the main rectangular building. All rooms in the main building have balcony and inwardly face an atrium. Rooms are very clean and that was a big plus with us. Overall, so far, one night left, it has been pleasant. One side of the hotel structure faces Oriole Park and the city's skyline.
This is a great hotel to stay at and I will be back soon as I return to Chicago
Very nice hotel. The club room was well stocked and the employees were personable.
Super friendly staff at the front desk (thanks, Will!) and super comfy beds. Dinner at RED bar was pricey but good, and not totally insane for Chicago area. Despite proximity to the airport, my sleep was not disturbed by airplane noise--surprisingly nice.
This was the recommended hotel of a conference that I attended. It's very nice. They have a great gym, great customer service, very convenient shuttle, and catwalk to the convention center. However, unfortunately, the building is too close to the the airport. I never got a good night's sleep the entire stay. It was miserable. Nodding off during lectures, etc. I spoke to the staff there, maybe it was just unique to my room? And they indicated that it gets better or worse when the adjacent air port mecca changes its master flight paths. Which they do every 5 years or so, but there's literally nothing they can do about it but offer me earplugs. I could tell it's a big problem for them and I feel badly, but sleeping is the major thing i need to do in hotels. Also, the rooms have very thin walls, I had noisy neighbors and it was fairly disturbing. Perhaps if this is going to happen they could offer some sort of continental breakfast. At least coffee ;)
Shuttle service to airport 24 hours. Walk to train, mall, con center, many restaurants, etc . Easy cab / Uber pickup also. Rooms clean and staff VERY helpful when approached, which is how it should be (I don't need hotel staff confronting me as I walk thru the lobby asking how I'm doing).
Rooms are nice. Staff is professional. Shuttle is frequent.
Other than a random blast of loud pop music over the speakers at a random time, the stay was quite nice. The rooms were elegant and had plenty of space for all members of my group.
It is an excellent very luxurious hotel.
It has a nightclub, restaurants.
Parking is paid at this place, it's the only thing I don't like.
It has a modern infrastructure. And the rooms have everything you need to rest in this place.
It has safes, executive fridge, chairs and desk and an excellent view.
Never disappointed with this hotel , clean specious suites in private tower and amazing customer service. Concierge stuff amazing .
Okay hotel. More for pilots and airport staff. It seems if they have a complaint their needs will come before yours
Great facility...we stayed in the panoramic suite and it was beautiful....plenty of room to spread out, as the suite has a upstairs bedroom for privacy while downstairs the fun can carry on. The staff was great and Sara at the desk was phenomenal!!! She made our stay one to remember. I wish I could give this hotel 6 stars but for now, they do get all 5 of these!!!!!
Beautiful hotel with very nice rooms. Staff was very helpful.
Shiesty place ! I stayed here for less than 24 hours and someone had charged over $60 of food on my card! I didn t even come out of my room until it was time to check out, so someone who works there had to have stole my information. And on top of that my bathroom smelled like urine and there was a tampon paper on the floor of the bathroom. For my first time coming to Chicago I will NEVER stay here again! I also left a message to speak with the manager and of course no reply after multiple calls.
Minus 1 star for everyone looking for a tip. 5 stars for everything else.
Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms and close to the airport.
Rooms are cozy and amazing and the decor is quite something - highly recommended!
Stayed here because of a canceled flight. Loved it here. Totally worth it.
It's a comfortable place but the rooms are a bit small, good decoration tho. I'd love to have microwave in the room, but it's ok for a few days.
We had a decent stay, the only downside was some loud neighbors and being on the top floor the airplane noise all night.
I didn't stay n the room but i would. The inside looks like a hotel in vegas. I went to a lecture and even the rooms there
Were nice. Helpful staff. Before i could ask my question they came and asked if they could help.
Parking is costly but if u get the parking ticket stamped it will be half off.
Nice place. Prompt and friendly. The hotel adjoins the Convention Center and is very convenient if you attend an event. Excellent local choice.
