The only reason why I'm taking away one star is I put the sign on my door asking for my room to be cleaned and this was a system they have established but they didn't clean it or give me new towels which was really annoying

Had an incident with Housekeeping. Spoke to several managers and nothing seemed to have been done - felt as though they did not believe me.
I was there for a conference and there was minimal options for breakfast and lunch. The food that was there was cold or dried out, not to appealing.
For a si called 'luxury hotel' I am not completely impressed.

Hyatt was not our choice. Our flight on UA from O'Hare was canceled at 10 p.m., and they gave us room vouchers for Hyatt Regency. We were very pleasantly surprised. It is beautiful inside. Simply gorgeous. Very comfortable. Unfortunately we left too early to use the breakfast buffet vouchers.
Front desk clerks were super friendly and professional. Every interaction was pleasant.

An a 1960s concrete construction that has been thoroughly updated. The center rooms do get a bit of noise due to the open concept. However, the quiet rooms are in the turrets. The beds are all very new and very nicely supportive. Electrical and usb sockets are all throughout the room and on both sides of the bed (so nice).

The elevators are glass and are surprisingly quick. I am so used to the slow ones else where. Breakfast is $18 buffett but it is the nice kind with made to order omelets and other tasty and healthy fresh treats.

The conference facilities are nice made even more so by the staff that trys hard to ensure you stay clean but not interrupted.

All in all, it is a wonderful place to get stuck with a delay. The airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes 24 hours a day.

Everyone is extremely welcoming and the food is amazing. I went to a professional event and was amazed by how efficiently they cleaned up and set up between events. It is walking distance from the convention center, fashion outlets, some restuu and a couple of breweries.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, great meeting and conference facilities. However as is usual in these types of conference hotels, everything is ridiculously overpriced. Considering that's expected, beautiful place.

Friendly and helpful staff! The hotel is beautiful and kept very clean. The rooms aren't over-the-top special, but very comfy bed and duvet and cleanliness go a long way with me.

There's a shuttle to O'Hare every 15 minutes, so it's really easy getting to/from the airport. Also the blue line is just a short walk away, and that takes you into the heart of Chicago. Though, be warned, it may take up to an hour to get there on the subway.

We enjoyed our stay here and would do it again for a quick weekend trip! If you're wanting to explore Chicago and don't want to hire a taxi every day, I'd stay closer to what you're wanting to see.

The hotel itself is ok. What really was a disappointment was the staff. It appeared that anything you ask of them was an inconvenience. The 3 at the front that I dealt with on May 2nd seemed very pompous. Maybe I didn t look fancy enough for them as I was getting off a long flight that was severely delayed, but this is not how you treat anyone.

Great hotel but worst service. Staff will take request but will not respond at all. Phones does not work. Hidden Charges. overall not a good experience with the staff and customer service but hotel is good and in a nice location pretty close to the Airport. Worth a try but don't expect much.

I never had anything to complain about this hotel in the last few years until a few days ago when the hotel s overnight engineer purposely turned off the electricity in my room around 6:30 in the morning. There was no electricity to start with when I got to my room after 4 AM. I had to go back and forth the front desk (four floors down) just to get them to fix the problem. After having worked a red eye flight, this isn t the kind of treatment you d want to get to especially if you only have a few hours to sleep before heading back to work. I ve never felt more inconvenienced to a point harassed because of the hotel engineer s behavior.

I was at this venue for a conference. The facility was great and the restaurant was well equipped to handle hundreds of us with a great buffet. The staff was most attentive. We would absolutely stay here if the occasion called for it.

Parking, parking, parking. I looked everywhere trying to find info on the covered parking option. I saw one thing that just mentioned "covered parking" and that was it. I love my car and am very particular about where I leave it. An outside lot that leaves it in the elements for me is not cool. We did the park, sleep, fly from here and it was great. 6 level covered garage with plenty of parking. Finding a spot wasn't an issue. The rooms were fine, bar was fine, location close to O'hare was great, shuttle service was super-quick and I really don't have any negatives to post about this hotel. Next time I do a park, sleep, fly it will be here again due to the covered parking. I hope this helps someone else that may be in the same position as I am when it comes to their vehicle.

The deco is comfortable and inviting. The staff are pleasant and keep the areas well stocked with guest perks. There is a lot of seating in the lobby area.
There are also power outlets easily accessible for those who might need to plug in an electronic device. I found this extremely helpful.
