Everything about the hotel was great however i booked a single bed for two adults and was given two full size beds. I attempted to talk to someone at the front desk and they said that they were booked for the night and they couldn't help me even though i booked weeks in advance. I then proceeded to call the 800 number and was told that there were multiple rooms available. When i told the representative on the phone my situation and asked if she could help me she told me that "there was a system error and everything was booked" and there was nothing else she could do. This was not how i wanted to spend the first night of my honeymoon. I would be totally understanding if there was an issue and the employees apologized, or offered us some sort of complimentary service or discount towards a future stay. However we hardly received an appology and it seemed as though they were covering their tracks with the excuse of the hotel being booked. I'm very disappointed and will not stay here again due to the customer disservice.
Beautiful and spacious rooms. Quickly accommodated me as flight got cancelled.
Terrific rooms and room service. Kind and helpful employee. Only thing I did not love was the prices for food which was high.
Service is amazing, they are quick to respond to requests and complaints. Everything is clean and provided for
Attended an event. Hotel was nice, staff friendly. Overall good experience.
Across the street from the convention but nothing interesting around unless you have a vehicle.
Everything was perfect. The hotel and room were in fantastic shape. I would definitely stay again.
This hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. Parking is expensive. I didn't care for the walk ways to the rooms. Just seemed like someone could go over the edge and fall if they were not paying attention. Entrances were blocked off during my stay. The TVs in the room are huge. Rooms were clean.
Great place with clean room
Excellent staff service
Flight cancelled 10 PM got voucher for Hyatt. Seamless process. Great nights sleep. All is good.
Was just in overnight from O'Hare for a cancelled flight. Really nice hotel. Beds are comfy and room has a really nice large tv
Great place to stay! My only complaint is every time I'm there, they don't have all the elevators in the center working and it takes forever to get one that's working.
A good hotel. Clean quiet with an excellent staff. Transportation from the airport is very reliable. The only negative is that the gym is quite small and often crowded.
I got a free stay. It was okay but far from a luxury hotel. The food was not impressive, but the breakfast was nice.
The rooms were very clean and had a warm feel to them. Facilities are exceptional, and the building as a whole is very pretty to look at.
Nice place. Had my friend's wedding at that hotel. Considering it for my wedding
Super friendly bar staff, and delicious food at a reasonable price
It is a nice place for an event. My only complaint was that the rooms werent clearly marked. But I think that is on the show runners and not the venue. A nice place and would go there again for sure.
Huge and beautiful convention center/ hotel. Bring good walking shoes to get around!
Friendly staff. Quiet, clean rooms. The place is huge with plenty of areas to sit and read including one area with a domed skylight. The lower level has as a coffee shop with a large selection of snacks, from salads to junk food and drinks and is open from 6am to midnight.
A well equipped gym, executive wing, business center and airline crew lounge is included.
Highly recommended. Great amenities, good choice of food and frequent connection to the airport.
Hotel staff was very kind, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the people at the front desk didn't seem to know what they were talking about. We had booked an executive double in the Regency Club (includes free breakfast, appatizers and access to an exclusive lounge in the lobby plus some other stuff) and when our cards didn't open the door to the regency club we went to the front desk to correct the problem. The desk clerk tried to tell us that we didn't have access to the lounge and that access to the regency club was only available if you booked an executive single room. She then told us that if we could show proof that we had booked the regency club she would correct the problem and proceeded to ignore us while we dug through our phones looking for emails and confirmation numbers. Luckily for us a manager walked by and overheard the problem and told his employee that her information was wrong and that we did in fact book a regency club double and then he corrected the problem. So that was an unnecessary and stressful problem on there part. The only other problem we had was that the food was very expensive and it wasn't up to par with the prices we paid for it. The Regency club breakfast was a big let down and I've seen better complimentary breakfast at value inn's. Other than that though, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice! With a more experienced staff, and better food quality this hotel would score a 5 star in my book any day.
I was there for an event. Food was great, staff extremely pleasant. Rooms well aired. Strongly recommend for events
Awesome just weird security rules that makes you keep walking around the building to get to back in.
Great hotel, great service, and interesting lobby/interior design.
Nice hotel but no gluten options on the menu was extremely dissapointing being so close to a major city
Room was quiet and clean. Only down side was there was no remote for the TV and housekeeping didn't replace the shampoo and conditioner.
Receptionist seemed to busy to care for parking validation properly and I was overcharged.
The hotel did an excellent job with accommodations, meeting rooms, and food. Restaurant options within the hotel itself are limited.
Online check in and check out was very convenient. Wish we had cheaper parking because we were guests at a wedding as well as overnight
Visited for a convention. Suffers hotel water like pretty much everywhere else (you know, that kind where the water seems to make everything stick to you funny and messes with your soap), but the rooms were clean, had a great TV, and decently comfortable beds. Slept fairly well even though there was lots of noise from the convention at all hours.
Large and plush with friendly staff and excellent shuttle services.
It was perfect and the staff was nice and took great care of us.
The parking is very expensive, but overall not a bad place.
Gorgeous exhibition halls. The rooms were much bigger than expected, and navigating the rooms was a visual test
Beautiful, clean and easy to navigate through. Super friendly staff. Food and drink selection is very good as well.
Front desk service can be slow, people are nice and a great location close to ORD, Rosemont, and the blue line
It's a nice hotel, cozy, and great service. A bit far from the city though
I am a world of Hyatt member and I have stayed at several Hyatts and this one is the worst. Receptionist was very rude, smells terrible. I can't wait to get out of here.
Very centrally located airport hotel. Quiet and nice professional service! Also room service! Breakfast buffet excellent! Restaurants & shopping in the house and nearby. Small but clean rooms & bath! Shuttle service to the airport!
Beautiful hotel and very accomodating, but most of the elevators were down all weekend.
People should know that there are several Hyatt properties with shuttles that go to O'Hare airport and neither the drivers nor the hotel phone operators make clear which shuttle goes to which hotel.
It's a big hotel but they don't have a pool! I saw a picture in a hallway that they did once have a pool but who knows what happened to it. I think this hotel is made for conferences and events not so much as a family vacation type.
I have attended a number of events at this hotel, and their results are consistently underwhelming. On a checklist they would do fine. The rooms are clean, the food good, etc. However there is a general feeling of indifference. Staff never stretch to get that fifth star. No one is rude, but no one is helpful. If you book a suite to wine and dine potential clients you can bet that the cops will show up sooner than later, without ever getting a call from the front desk first. It's very much a "don't show up before four, sit down, shut up, get out by ten" kind of place.
Awesome place to stay BUT parking is 69$$ if you park your car at the hotel.
Really cool atrium space. Nice room with comfortable bed and furniture. A little noisy from planes depending on where your room is.
Clean. Comfortable. Parking is expensive, about $30 a night.
I enjoyed the services and the statues of the Hyatt. The architecture is very interesting, but the food costs a lot. The rooms are cleaned frequently and everything seems safe.
Nice hotel. But most of the bars and restaurants are closed.
The front lobby smells like the carpet needs to be steamed it smelled funny, but everything else was down as rooms go. The breakfast needs improvement soggy hash browns and runny eggs were not the best super dry toast.
Close to the airport, the FedEx located in the hotel charges an extra handling fee. Food is OK for the price
Nice big comfy king bed and decent food options for an unexpected layover courtesy of United Airlines.
Really solid experience, great room, comfortable bed.
Hotel and staff are nice. $30 charge for parking was not in the description when I booked the hotel. I thought it was excessive for 1 night of parking.
For 321 dollars for the night, it's a rip-off. I'd say it's worth maybe 150 max, if.
Huge hotel, parking has to be paid for, but all in all a good value
Hotel staff was absolutely outstanding, very helpful, friendly. But hotel appearance is really starting to show its age.
Huge place if you're interested in wasting some time and exploring a giant building. Stuck there overnight for a flight. Could have been worse. Lots of airplane noise in the rooms.
I stay here for a convention every year. Lovely hotel, easily the best I've stayed in, could be better if they had bidgets installed.
An excellent place for unconventional conventionists!
