The hotel is very nice. The restaurants seem overly expensive, but that is the only downside to this place.
The location is a great area, the room was beautiful and accommodating, and the service was phenomenal.
Nice rooms, event catering food could use some improvement
Always A great experience. First class accommodations and staff.
Room was nice. Employees were great. Resturant buffets were okay. I stayed here for a four day conference. Very disappointed there were NO vending machines. You couldn't buy a cold drink anywhere. The la carte buffets had warm drinks and small glasses with ice, the gift shop/small mart had drinks in cooler, but the coolers are small and front loaded. With so many guests, there was never a cold soda or water in the cooler. The resturants had drinks on ice, but no cold drink you can buy and carry with you to seminars. There are no small resturants nearby either, such as subway, ect... to buy a drink. Also, room had no refrigerator. So if you wanted water/soda throughout the day, you had to buy warm one at the store for @$4 each. Since we were there from 10 am till midnight in one session or another all day, I spent a good $20 at the shop alone just buying bottles of water. I should have packed a bottle and refilled it at the water coolers that were few, inside the session rooms. Next time, I will pack a cooler and bring my own drinks.
Just arrived here from the Yukon. Never seen so many business suits in my life. Amazingly large and full ranging facilities. Like a city of a hotel.
Love the hotel service! I stayed in the executive suite as part of volunteer staff and we were left alone per our request. I was happy to see staff getting in the spirit of the convention while cleaning.
A nice hotel but a bit old in comparison of newer hotels with updated rooms. Excellent service, convenient parking (not free), and a nice breakfast and lunch buffet. The rooms can be pricey, so try to make reservations early. Location is near airport and in the heart of Rosemont, which is close too many attractions.
Good rooms in the corners. Great service. Just the water tap in the shower is misfit. So many Great mixing taps around and they found this awful one;(
Top of the line best hotels but also top of the line $$$$
Lloks deceive.. Amazing lobby....the rest of it is meh. Room service food was poor....room had basic necessities but had no bottled water. Red bar was fair. Sat in lobby and observed the bell service old boys. I was not impressed by their attitude or composure under basic daily pressure.
There was an anime con at the time so it was really crowded. They also lacked laundry which was annoying
I attended a convention at the Hyatt and it was a great venue. Very spacious and modern. Highly recommended!
Nice place
Food and parking expensive.additions. Recommend if you bring own car to travel for food. Hotel buffet is decent..but not 21$ decent for the convenience.
Great staff, nice clean rooms, huge! Every evening/night it smelled as if an oil diffuser was being pumped throughout the hotel, was nice to awaken to a lovely light lavender scent.
BONUS: food from the Perks shop downstairs is fantastic! Highly recommend their sustainable salmon wrap with an order of french fries & a side of honey mustard. I crave it all the time, wish I was back there to have it again!
Overall very pleased with my stay here. Would definitely stay again.
Everything was wonderful at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare!!!
Beautiful Hotel, Attended a winter gala sponsored by my work. Staff was very professional, attended to all our needs. Convenient location near expressway & airport. Buffet style dinner was excellent w/good variety. Did not stay overnight, but will definitely find time for a future stay. Great time in a great environment!!
Yearly a convention that I like to attend is centered at this hotel. The service staff have always been exceptional and extremely patient even as convention attendance has sky rocketed year after year. The rooms have been consistently clean and the space very welcoming even of the more eccentric personalities. If you are going to be needing alcohol or tobacco, I strongly recommend buying it long before you arrive; both are prohibitively expensive and a fair commute to acquire otherwise.
One of the best hotels that I've ever been in. The lobby is really amazing architecture wise, and I can just sit around and look at it. All the rooms can overlook the lobby, which is a nice view. The staff is really chill and it's a great event space in general.
The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly. I like the fact that the room is angled so that the light from the hallway doesn't shine on the bed. One entire wall was windows, which would have been better with a nice view. My only complaint would be that the place does not have a pool.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel! My room is super luxurious and incredibly comfortable. Staff is super helpful and friendly! The hotel is immaculately clean. The Red Bar and it's staff are fabulous! I would definitely stay here again.
It is a great hotel. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean
Decent service. I was here for Anime Midwest. The only problem was that there wasnt much parking.
Horrible experience! our flight was delayed and we checked in at 3 am, the staff was very rude! The room was not cleaned the first day. First and last time going to this hotel!
I was here for a convention and was quite pleased with the number of spaces and level of efficiency the staff, and the hotel layout were in keeping people moving in common areas, and locations being well insulated from one another. I've been to other conventions where these factors were a problem, but this hotel management it well.
Instated at the Hyatt Regency O'Hate for the Pampered Chef National Conference. Our room was wonderful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and service was very professional.
Nice hotel clean and neat. It takes a hour to get to Chicago by public trasportation but it is easy and right by the hotel. There is also a mall right down the street. The store is priced 4th I high so bring your own snacks.
Comfortable beds but can be noisy due to planes from airport. Conveniently located across from convention center center.
My complaint is that this is a Pepsi place and a Diet Coke would have been great. Also the lobby and meeting room areas are great, but the rest of the hotel needs updating. Super large TVs aren't as great as a fully updated hotel.
The hotel was great! The rooms were comfortable, clean, up to date and quiet , the breakfast buffet was outstanding! Ask for Jose he made us feel right at home after a delayed flight ..... Thanks Jose !
We stayed 1 night. We were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who assigned us our room. Once we got to the room however, we quickly discovered that it was recently used. There were old used towels left on the floor in the washroom, wrappers, an empty bottle of vodka in the entry way, and a semi-full can of beer next to the bed. This was interesting as they had very clearly taken the time to restock the mini bar, but obviously not had the time to clean the room. We let the front desk know about the issue and asked if they could have someone clean the room while we were out to dinner. They apologized for the mess, gave us a thirty dollar credit, and said someone would come and take care of it. They offered to switch rooms for us, but we decided against it after a long day. We then went to have a lovely dinner outside the hotel. When we came back, the room was untouched, with just some towels sitting in a bag outside the door. As it was past midnight, we went to bed as we had a flight to catch the next morning. At 5am we were awakened by the rooms alarm clock witch we did not set. I tried to turn it off how ever the buttons were stuck and we were unable to turn off the alarm. If we had to be up at 5am this would not be a big deal, however we still had another 3 hours we could have used for sleeping. The clock was secured to the wall and had a battery back up that we could not disable. We finally called the front desk and they sent someone up after about 10 minutes to try and turn it off. They got it fixed after another 10 minutes and we went back to sleep. When we woke up we packed up and headed out. The front desk did not even seem to really care about our troubles. Next time I am around or my company is staying in the Chicago area I will not even consider staying at the Hyatt Regency.
I have enjoyed rooms with a balcony, a room with an upstairs, the gym and on occasion the vip lounge. This place offers something for all experiences. The staff is very professional and everyone tries to be helpful. The room service is good also and the T.V.'s are large for sports events.
Will always enjoy cooking to Acen! The hotel staff is always accommodating and as quick as possible while accommodating the extremely high volume.
Just was charged for a room that was cancelled over a month ago.
Last year I was also double charged four weeks after my stay.
Their accounting department has their heads where they shouldn't be... beware.
Good place to have a conference. Neat comfortable room. Limited choice of food as there is only one restaurant a bar and a tuck shop.
Medioker hotel movie didnt work and cost 20$ was here for a commpatison
I dint win food was ok
The rooms are very nice and the staff is very friendly
Had a wonderful view of Chicago lit up at night. The room was excellent with a huge flat screen. $70 a night through price line
Great place to stay! Really nice people and they were so helpful.
Attended a 2 day conference. The conference rooms were nice and clean -- AV equipment worked great. Food was awesome. Friendly staff.
A great place to stay. Nice, clean and lavishing rooms.Great time in a great environment!!
Great location but very expensive for the basics 5USD for water! Holton offers it for free!!
Love the lobby and rooms, great service and awesome bars.
I come here for con+alt+delete and other anime conventions. Very nice rooms and very good management.
Good hotel if you need to stay next to the airport. Blue line is near
The ballrooms are in confusing areas but it's a really nice hotel and the people are great.
Hotel is decent. I got reservation from Priceline for $68 plus tax for one night stay. What I don t like is the parking. I checked in hotel around 11:30pm and check out following day around 6:10am. I got a whopping $32 parking fee. There s no visible sign posting parking rate nor mention about parking is not included in the hotel rate. What s worst is when leave the parking lot, the machine is not taking back the parking ticket. It made me feel hotel is not charging everyone. I am probably being single targeted because we reserved hotel from Priceline.
I had a king bed room in th north weat tower on the 10th floor. Good view, excellent room. The elevators were fast, even with the anime midwest convention going on there. Service quickly delt with long lines at check in and check out. Microwave was in the hall by ice machine far from the room and was so small it was basically useless, only thing qrong with the entire stay.
Expensive! Plus you have to pay s22 for parking!! You do get a great view of the car park though
Great hotel, but the planes flying overhead are pretty loud.
Staff was friendly. Rooms clean. Bathrooms clean. Thank you
This hotel looks great, the rooms are very nice, as is the food. Service can be a little slow at busy times, but that's to be expected.
Hotel seemed very busy but the room was nice and quiet. The Miller High Life outside our room door the next morning was a nice touch. (I think a fraternity was meeting at the time. Every room had one.)
Great Staff Members. Comfortable rooms. Excellent service at the Red Bar. Food was great too. Will stay here anytime
Nice hotel. They are hosting the annual National Miss Amazing pageant this weekend in Chicago.
Checked in last night. Staff was wonderful. This morning not so much. Went to the front desk to ask a question and there were two ladies there both of whom completely ignored my daughter and I. Did not acknowledge us at all. I mean no eye contact, no nothing. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before we just walked away. Very poor customer service!
Here for a conference and having a great stay! Facilities are clean and well stocked. Staff has been helpful but not intrusive. I would recommend for convenience access to the airport alone.
The rooms were nice but tiny. Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours. No breakfast included in stay...and breakfast is EXPENSIVE!!
Enjoyed the delicious Mustard Crusted Salmon in the Red Bar. The clean room and really large flat screen were nice, but apparently it's not very well insulated in between rooms. I could hear my neighbor having a phone conversation at a normal talking volume, which woke me up.
Its like something out of the movies here. Parking is pricey but a plus is there is a huge tv inside the room ( and i mean huge!!!)
Service was great, room was nice and accommodating. Walls were pretty good at noise reduction which was great due to the constant noise at the time. All around good hotel, would stay again.
Upscale, 1 train stop from the airport. Rooms are small, but nice. Interesting architecture inside.
