HYATT REGENCY NEW ORLEANS Review

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good location right next to the superdome. It has a weird way of accessing your room you have to get to the 3rd floor to take the elevators for the guest rooms. The bell hops were nice and the desk reception was helpful. The room was nice but I didn't like that I had to buy WiFi to watch HBO to go.

Chi, at the font desk really made my stay a blessing.

This place is worth every penny! Management is courteous and very helpful. Easy access to Uber pick ups and next door car parking for $25. No smoking for ANY room here! Key cards are high tech and fun to use too!

I attended for a professional conference and the hotel is extremely nice. The hotel is so big it can be confusing, and service was occasionally slow. Overall a good experience.

I booked 10 months in advance.... Arrived and was told that they over booked my room and offered my a different lesser style room... And then my coworker arrived the day after and got the king size bed room I had wanted. I thought booking early would mean something... Obviously not.
Then the conference was continually out of coffee in the morning... Bad planning. And the one coffee I got at 11 was horrible... Tasted like dirty water.
My room was also missing a shower curtain. They did resolve that quickly after calling about it.
The place is big and confusing to get around... They did have someone hired to help people navigate which is cool.
Overall, not impressed for the price I am paying. That's why I am giving the low score.

Very cumbersome to get to your room after check in. You need to get to the third floor to take the elevator to your room. The elevator has no buttons inside and is controlled from an external panel only. No display outside and you are not really sure which elevator you should take. Of course it gets better after a while of familiarisation but the hotel should definitely provide better guidance for new guests. In the room, there was no sofa for you to do reading. And when I asked for just one hour late checkout, the staff said it was fully booked but when I went online, rooms were aplenty. What a great liar! Overall this is definitely not a 5 star luxury service oriented hotel.

The way it's laid out is a little confusing, and I'm probably an idiot, but it took me a while to figure out the newfangled elevators. But the atrium is awesome, and the service is friendly and attentive and just great

They did a fantastic job renovating this legendary hotel! It took a few years to return after hurricane Katrina but it's back with lots of style! However they didn't bring back the Top Of The Dome Restaurant! It was New Orleans only REVOLVING Rooftop Restaurant What a shame!!!!

Fancy place. Good for conferences and meetings. Close to the Amtrak Station and Superdome.

Prompt and polite service. The bathtub drain in our room wasn't working properly, but it was fixed quickly.

The hotel is very nice. Well kept and clean. Room service is amazing. The staff are very helpful and we're nice. The location is alright. It is located in downtown Nola. For some one who isn't from here it can be intimidating to get to the hotel but once there you are good to go. The rooms are all very nice.

The hotel was easy to find. While it had its own parking garage, it does get full quite quickly. Fortunately there is ample parking nearby. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Navigating the hotel can be a challenge, but maps are provided throughout the building to make things easier.

Booked the hotel 3 months in advance, yet had to wait 4 hours to get into my room. The management has no organization skills.

Layout is so confusing. More signs are needed! Gym is almost inaccessible

The hotel itself is really swanky and the lounge is spectacular. The rooms are estandard Hyatt regency rooms but the bathrooms are annoyingly poorly designed. The door blocks half the shower entrance, the toilet cannot be used unless the door is closed, the shower curtain is always too short, and the metal section of the sync perfectly reflects the area between the top of the toilet and your sternum. Can't say the site of my fat rolls while sitting on the toilet was a welcome site.

The beds here are terrible. I have been moved and nothing changed. The staff has been acceptional, but not happy with the concrete like mattresses.

I attended a Zulu Krewe Ball. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. The food was excellent and the service was great.

It's a beautiful hotel with plenty of seating areas in public spaces. Even when slammed the staff were very polite and professional. Everything was immaculately clean. No complaints here.

Huge hotel, with amazing views from the upper floors. Due to the convention centre and the size of the place it shouldn t feel personal at all. But the amazing front desk staff is a true gem. They seriously go out of their way to make you feel at home, and they do succeed in that. Very good hotel with great location and great staff, on the pricey side.

Hotel location is very nice. Reservation staff is not friendly. Reservation thru hotel website will make you fool. Beware of the rate advertising and confirmation email you receive when you use the hotel website. As per the website advertisement per day per night shows $119 /room/night. But when we checked out they charged $197/- per room per night. Be careful while doing reservation thru hotel website.

Great hotel for a conference. Not the easiest to navigate, but staff were helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Would definitely stay again. Only problem encountered was the shower. They must have been having problems during our stay because the water never got above luke warm and the water pressure was very weak. Never improved during our stay but still very much enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel is great and excellent service. I forgot my razor and when I went to the front desk and ask for help the lady who was helping me not only provide me with 2 razors but she gave me a shaving cream as well. Even the cleaning people were very polite and friendly.

Bad customer service. Hyatt does not stand behind their guaranteess.

I love the upscale atmosphere at this Hyatt hotel and really enjoy drinking at the bar in the atrium.

Check-in was problematic and I needed an email to convince desk clerk of reservation made in August. Superior Suite had no refrigerator in the seating area and no body wash in the bathroom. Problems were addressed by Hyatt personnel.

The room was nice it was clean we had to queen size beds and the service from the bill hops to the desk clerks was amazing. The only deficit wasn't checking out there was only one bellhop 1 front desk clerk 1 salary driver to pick up cars. The escalators work out off and on throughout my stay and the elevators took forever to deliver passengers to and from their floor. They did allow us to use the freight elevator for the service elevators which was the bonus but during the Bayou Classic these problems that I list it should have been taken care of with additional staff. But the rooms were nice and the hotel beautiful.

I found the hotel to be spectacular. The staff could not have been Kinder more cooperative, very friendly and courteous. The room was impeccable, refurbished in very excellent taste. And I would recommend it to anybody coming to New Orleans.
