HYATT REGENCY NEW ORLEANS Review

Very beautiful hotel. Great location. Walking distance to Bourbon street. Rooms were very nice and the service was great.

Too big of an operation and they can t keep up. Bathtub clogged. Service at Vitascope Hall restaurant terrible. They push you around from desk to desk when you call. Nothing really conveniently around.

Laid out like a casino, expect the most modern comfort can buy and you cant beat the location if your attending any event at the super dome or convention center, a stones throw away from the French quarter, museums...etc

Just attended the LACUE conference here this week. I was very impressed. Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff!

Elegant lobby and clean concise decor. Soft earth tones. Rooms comfortable, heated pool and plenty deck space. Staff very friendly. Convenient to public transportation.

The premier level was amazing with a great view of the superdome!

Every time we're in NOLA we stay at the Recency. It's clean, moderately priced and has some of the friendliest people in the city working there.

A bit weird trip to access to your room from the front desk. Breakfast was fantastic.

Beautiful Hotel very spacious. Rooms are more than roomy. Only complaints is the front desk, smoking area, food pick up and exit are all the same place like however many floors door plus 2 escalators and a walk lol.

My stay was excellent. Room was great. Restaurants had great service and food.

Terrible stay and service. No heat for a large portion of my stay, staff didn t seem to care, and I was misbilled and overcharged upon check out.

Really elegant, comfortable, and clean hotel with friendly staff. It was extremely convenient getting around since there's streetcar stops within walking distance. I would recommend getting a daily jazzy pass so you can come and go as you please during the day. Great views of the city as well.

I stayed at the Hyatt House, but the regency has a couple nice restaurants. We had drinks in the bar on the second floor, and it was a nice place to relax and close out the night.

Good rooms good selection good service can't beat that!!!

Well the fact this the city welcomes the party atmosphere is a plus, you can walk around drinking from cup right by cop on a horse. Just don't spank the horse, what else, oh yes the the Hyatt is nice.

Location is great, near the superdome. Rooms are on the smaller side. Great Internet. The regency club is great.

I loved everything about the hotel. Whatever we needed, guest services was more than happy to accomodate us. We stayed here for a Saints football game and it was perfectly in the middle of all the excitement. It was pretty awesome. The breakfast buffet was super convenient, as we could get ready, eat, and then start our day right after. (Make sure to get the breakfast included with your stay as paying for it daily would get pretty expensive). We ate there every morning and was served by Alex (from Montenegro) He was hilarious and gave great service. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit New Orleans, as we are from Los Angeles. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Pleasant staff and clean environment. Be aware if you're looking for your room to be cleaned, it will happen after 5pm. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and was ready to please!!

Very nice hotel, nice conference area. Close proximity to the action, but I would prefer to be closer to the casino.

The rooms had an awful stench. The air conditioning didn't cool during the day. The refrigerator didn't work. We were charged for overnight valet parking although we were told it was included with the room package. By far the worst 4 hotel stay we have ever experienced.

I have eaten at 8Block Kitchen for breakfast too many times to count but I made the mistake of picking this hotel for a celebration weekend. I was put in contact with Mary who lists her title as concierge. I wanted a welcome amenity set up in the room (flowers, dessert, maybe a balloon or two) she literally directed me across the street to Rouses and said they d be able to help me. But that if I had any other questions I could contact her again. Tried to explain I d pay for the welcome amenity set up for arrival and she never replied. So odd and I picked another hotel.

Excellent omlet station in one of the restaurants! Our room was fine.

I Ordered a King bed with a view... but got the a queen bed in a room the size of a broom closet..

More of a convention hotel than anything else, the hotel was quite uneven during a recent stay shortly before New Years. Despite being very crowded, the main restaurant was closed. The secondary restaurant had very slow service; so slow my party of 7 walked out after waiting ten minutes for our dirty table to be cleaned. Twice the concierge was asked to help with reservations and each time it never got done. The hotel had rented rooms to families who had child and teen football players in town for a tournament. They ran wild in the hotel and the staff ignored them, making the experience even worse. Also, housekeeping showed up to clean our room one day at 6pm. Overall, a huge disappointment and we will not choose to stay there again.

Convenient location. Within minutes' walk to business district essentials and about 10-15 to French Quarter

Husband and I and some friends went to Vitascope for dinner and drinks before a concert at the Superdome. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience - even though it was crowded, the hostesses at the restaurant were super courteous and professional, as was bartender across from the restaurant while we waited, and our waiter at the restaurant. The food was fabulous. We'll definitely be back to this beautiful venue!

A beautiful venue , perfect walk from where we were staying. The spiral staircase was a quite beautiful. The architecture inside is more impressive than the rooms, but since we were staying for an event we we were very impreessed. The elevators are a little confusing and not self explanatory. I understand the desire to reduce the need for buttons but it is still really difficult initially to navigate around the hotel.

I stop at the Hyatt Regency daily for my morning coffee at Starbucks or for the lunch buffet at 8 Block. I always receive great customer service from the staff at both locations as well as the hotel staff I see on premesis.

Right next to Super Dome! I t can't get any better!

Check in was great. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. The room at first glance were clean. But on further review the top of headboards were dusty. Picture frames were also dusty. Counter top in bathroom was not clean.

One of the BEST hotels I have had tje pleasure of lodging in! Beautiful property in downtown NOLA. The most attentive staff I have ever experienced. I'm a world traveler and experienced many hotels. I'll definitely come back to stay here again.

An excellent venue for the conference I attended. There were several excellent dining choices within the hotel and the decor throughout was excellent. The location was easy to access and within walking distance of the French Quarter and a vast array of food options

Clean and comfy! Evacuated here to avoid a hurricane. Very accommodating.

Interesting hotel. Decent amenities and great location. Don't order their sushi. And their towels feel kind of like denim. Other than that everything is clean and modern.

I went to mecha con, it was so awesome, I was mind blown and so awestruck.

Borgne is a great restaurant inside the Hyatt for pre saints game drinks/food

I attended a New Year's Eve party at the hotel. It was a good venue for the event. Hotel staff were courteous and efficient.

The front desk service was nice and the hotel looked very well maintained until I walked into the room. I've stayed with Hyatt before on multiple occasions and I always enjoyed it. When I first walked into the room, the trims were all chipping in paint, the curtains had something that looked like blood dripping and the furnitures we're badly damaged. Maintenance was not accounted for in this room.

I had breakfast there, and it was very nice! A lot of options, the space is big and clean, and the staff is very friendly.

I have loved the room I am in since I arrived. The ride up the elevators is impressive, and the room sare set up well so that all my needs are taken care of. Also, as a Passport Gold member, I have access to a complimentary continental breakfast every morning, which is prefect for my needs. I'm becoming more and more impressed with Hyatt everytime I stay at one of their hotels.

I am here for a conference and have yet to experience a lot of the associated services, but things seem to be running smoothly so far.

Beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are three great restaurants inside the hotel with many in the surrounding area. I went here for a business conference and was pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful staff and a clean location. The layout is no doubt intended to break up foot traffic congestion but that makes it tough to navigate as a first- (and probably only-)timer

Too big and inpersonal for my liking and a bit to far from anything.
However the room was fantastic and the breakfast amazing.

Great employees. Beautiful venue. Will stay here again.
