Excellent stay. Warm and inviting staff. Room service was stellar. Free cookies!

The elevators are too slowly . There are four elevators in all but only two elevators operate. I have never seen such a slow elevators.

I was looking forward to stay in Doubletree by Hilton but it was such a disappointment.

I requested a rollaway bed when I was booking on hilton website. And I also made a call couple days before I checked in. So I don't need to sleep with my parents on the same bed. But they didn't prepare for it.

So I called to front desk and spoke to him I requested a rollaway bed and also confirmed by phone that th
ey have my request. There was no appology from him and said he will send someone to my room soon.

And this was not only thing they got me upset.

We also found out there were bunch toiletries missing in the washroom. All we have was a single body lotion for 3 adults.
So I had to call them again and asked for some toiletries.
I didn't hear any appologies from them again.

We waited for 15mins and no one showed up so I had to call them again how long I should wait for. She sounds very unpleasant that I called and told me to wait more.

Their electric kettle was very disgusting to use. (see the photo)

Last thing was housekeeper lady.
My dad went out to the bank in the mornining and one of housekeeper asked my dad what time we will be head out because she needs to clean our room. We already put a sign "Do not disturb" and it was 9:30am. I never need to tell hotel what time I will be heading out.
It was kinda ridiculous to get those question. When we came back to our room after tour, she didn't even organize cushions on the sofa. There were just stuff that we requested with tips and empty garbage bins.

Overall, I was not satisfied with this "unprepared" room with doubletree with hilton.
We stayed 1 king 2 room suite and this is completely NOT a service I expected.
This is "Hilton". Not like holidayin or other minor brand. How could "Hilton" do this?

This hotel needs a better communication with guest and improve "Final check" process before having guest in.

Not a fan. My pillows smelled like a 5 dollar hoocker. I asked for new pillows. Only recieved new pillow cases. The same issue remains.
The bar closes at 12:00?????? WTF?

Good hotel situated within a big shopping centre. Friendly staff, convenient location for exploring the city, and nice patio and outdoor bar are. Pool was nice but busy, steam room was nice.

Total fail on customer service. We arrived at 12:30 to check in and were told that the room was available. But they then said they would charge $50.
It is one of the reasons that people avoid US chains and use services like Air B and B. You feel nickel and dimed rather than being treated like a customer.

After a very long drive we arrived at the hotel, tired with cranky kids. The front desk was busy and we waited approximately 30-40 mins. Frustrated and thoroughly annoyed we expressed our frustration to Yuri who promptly tool care of us and our needs. This changed our outlook on the hotel and made us very happy. Rooms were clean and beds very comfy. Will be returning for our next stay here in the future. Excellent location for tourists!

Convenient location, connected to complex desjardine. Overall hotel cleanliness is great, nice staffs.

Hotel very well placed in the city center on the complex Desjardins. The rooms are clean, large and well appointed. Ideal during the various festivals of the summer in Montreal.

While the facilities are nice, the service was not. I waited for housekeeping for an hour and was late for a Skype appointment because of it. I asked 2 hours in advance and they confirmed the time. Even after speaking to the housekeeping manager, the staff didn t show up for another 20 minutes.

Also, the WiFi was so bad that I could barely keep my phone connection going for more than 5 minutes. Will probably not stay here again.

Great staff, good location. Curently there is construction being done at the lobby. Make sure you get cookies.

Great hotel in downtown Montreal, walking distance too all tourists attractions in the core. Locals were friendly and accommodating of English only tourists. A bit confusing getting around the elevators and the mall below but we figured it out by the end of our first day. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

I have been 2 times once when it was a Hyatt and since it is a Hilton the quality is improved good value

Just got here, first person I met at reception was condescending and not friendly. The second person was super nice. The room is nice.

Best downtown location, nice bar/restaurant, good executive lounge.

Great location. No hot tub unfortunately. Good prices on food. Heat needs to be turned on in parking to lobby elevator. Also ask for them to turn the heat up in your room before you get there.

Fantastic staff, clean room, and wonderful service overall. I love thst I can walk to the train station for local travel.

Probably one of the best hotels we ve been to. Extremely clean, beautiful and modern looking with the nicest staff! Not only do they provide spectacular service but they are able to accommodate to all of our needs. From room changes, holding onto our luggage and even providing freshly baked cookies upon arrival! Me and my wife want to personally thank Victoria for all of her hard work as well as her team at Doubletree for their amazing service! Definitely coming back next time we visit Montreal!

In the center. Very nice rooms. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I found hair in the bed.

Nice room and great location. The desk in the room though was a little narrow to comfortably work on.

0/5 stars. The guy at the reception counter was super rude to me on Saturday night. A plastic wall panel was seperating the two of us and I had forgotten to put on my mask at first and he treated me as if I was a criminal. Its too bad. The ambiance in this place has changed. They have bordered up access to the bar and restaurant and public restrooms. I hope they will open those up by the time JFL is supposed to be held there, originally rescheduled for September. Beware though, in the meantime and from what I experienced the other night, they will treat you as if you have Covid and/or are roaming around the place intentionnally trying to spread it. Highly not recommended. The guy behind the reception desk on Saturday night shift could have had have more etiquette, empathy and public sensitivity towards me. If you do not appear to be 100% terrified of Covid, he will make you feel accountable for this and seemingly for this entire pandemic situation. Really disrespectful. Very rude customer service.

Great location. 2 minute walk to St. Catherine's and less than a minutes to Place Des Arts. Clean and modern. $12 overnight parking.

One of my favorite places to have a drink is the Six Lounge at the DoubleTree by Hilton great service and a great selection of drinks you never know who you might meet at the bar there.

This hotel was everything I could have wished from a 1-night stop on business in Montreal. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent spa facility, great room service, spacious, clean and quiet room. Full marks.

Cozy, elegant and the attention of its spectacular staff

Great location, room is clean, modern style decor, just didn't care for the barn style bathroom door, not very private if you are sharing the room.

Crosseur esti he said that my credit card did not work but he stole the 3 codes behind pi la he changed me $ 250 for a room that I never used..crosseur esti he went up to refund 7.08 $ what is the problem

Nice hotel and nice rooms! Everything was very clean and well maintained. A nice big indoor pool that I did not have a chance to try but I plan to go back.

Ideal for participating in a convention or simply for a weekend in the heart of Montreal's entertainment district.

Excellent service, clean, pretty and with a lot of charm and elegance.

Self-parking has no in&out privileges. This isn t indicated at check-in and comes as an unpleasant surprise after. Computer system was down at our arrival and they could not check my Hilton gold status.

Really Good place for shopping and staying in a hotel

Upon arriving at the reception desk, Yuri was very welcoming and even allowed me to change my reservation to a king bedroom. His professionalism and thoughtful use of words was very much appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful and situated next to a mall which is a plus.

This hotel is close to everything - we stayed here for my bachelorette and it was awesome! The rooms were clean and modern. Most importantly, all staff members were friendly. I really enjoyed the stays at this double tree. The welcome cookies were soooooo good as well (warm and tasty).

This is a great hotel, the inside looks great and the rooms services are excellent. If you are around, without question, you should stay in this hotel. Definitely recommended this place

We love this Hilton to do several in the year. I like the restaurant the look I personal and the location of the complex Desjardins. But I have a big flat, the toilet door is not at all soundproof like a standard door so when your husband goes to the bathroom you have to mount the sound of the TV high to hear his noises. And the sheets wash her with you tide or too much bleach because I have to sleep dressing :( the sheets scratch me too much.As many people some detergent that is written on it '' can irritate the skin '' really shame my skin. Do not know what other hotels are doing but I think it would be good to change, other than that I recommend this hotel.

The server very friendly, nice music and not too loud, but I thought it would be very cold in the restaurant section.

Awesome atmosphere. Servers were attentive polite and knowledgeable about choices. Ribs were delicious!

If there was an option for zero stars I would. I do not recommend this hotel at all. This was my first time my family and I were staying in a Hilton hotel and out of all hotels I have been to this is far by the worse. Multiple things went wrong when my family and I stayed for 4 days at this hotel.
1. When we were checking out we were charged with three car fees when using valet parking and an extra $100 fee for something we are not sure of and it took us a total of 45 minutes to figure things out and a call from our own home to receive all our money back.
2. When we were leaving we had a bell boy come up to us to bring all our luggage downstairs and he was very kind asking if we forgot our passport then knowing we lived outside of this country. After we drove home which was an 8 hour car ride and after arriving home we realized that the bell boy stole ONLY THE bag full of $200 worth of medicine that we bought in Canada for our grandfather. We knew it was him because he was the only person who touched our luggage when leaving and before we left the hotel room we checked if we forgot anything and we didn t. Then we called for the manager, explained our situation, and had to wait and after a long time was sent to customer service and after someone picked up they immediately said we were breaking up and hung up the phone and never called back.
3. We used valet parking and realized that our car was scratched on the sides and had to fix it ourselves with our own money.
Their hotel system is a complete mess and all they do is rip you off and steal your stuff. I will never come back to this hotel again nor suggest this hotel to anyone.

The bar and the pool are very pleasant, the employees are welcoming and offer a remarkable service! A great experience worthy of the chain!

Nice hotel well located in the center of Montreal. 5/10 minutes from almost everything. Shopping gallery in the basement (which closes early) with a food court and access to the metro. Super helpful staff and friendly. Room large enough and well arranged.

The only issue was the construction site accross the street. They start at 7:00 am with the loud equipment

Food menu prices are very reasonable. Not overpriced like many other hotels.

Really nice pool setup that you can use even during COVID times. Lifeguard is present as well. There also a pool deck to sunbathe or just relax in.

And don t forget to grab the warm complimentary cookie given at the front desk!

Exceptional service and VERY clean. This is my first time in Montreal and I've completely fallen in love with the people and their beautiful city. The people are so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend a visit here!
