Very clean and modern hotel. Staff were friendly as well. The only problem I have with the place is you need a keycard for EVERYTHING and with it you can only go to your floor and the lobby in the elevators. We are a family of 4 and only More

Our stay was wonderful. Our rooms were well designed and well-kept. The staff were great and it was easy to navigate throughout the building. We were there for a corporate event and would certainly recommend their facilities.

Modern, clean, cool bedroom, great location! Right on top of the tunnels that help taking you to the city locations by foot, or subway, plus there is a cool mall packed with stores and restaurant

We had a Suite. Something was in the Master Bed that was incredibly itchy to both my wife and myself.

As we were only staying 1 night, we ended up sleeping with our clothes on with our socks tucked into our pants.

Also, the bathroom doors are sliding barn doors. You are not able to lock them and they slide open on their own. So you have virtually no privacy when using the bathroom.

My Teenage daughter thought she closed the door.. was on her phone on the toilet.. but the door slide open. She was totally unaware.

Very bad design.

I will NEVER stay there again!

Room and hotel were clean and recently renovated. Lobby was a bit difficult to get to and man who check us in was quite rude, also didn t give us (Diamond members) our breakfast tokens. Great location in the city. Would stay again despite rude service

The bedroom was nice and clean, the problem was in the bathroom. The door is a sliding type, like a wardrobe, but it didn't cover the entrance totally. There was a spacing of at least an inch from the wall, so if you walked in front of the bathroom, you could see and hear everything. And there was no fan in the bathroom (or it wasn't working).

We had a three day stay at the Hilton Doubletree and it was fantastic. We stayed on the executive floor and the breakfast and the evening buffet they set up could not have been any nicer. Our bed was so comfortable our room was wonderful and we were able to walk to most places of interest. Will definitely come back!

After 5 weeks and multiple E-mails and phone calls I'm still waiting for an incorrect parking fee to be removed from my hotel credit card charges.

The location is wonderful but all the remodeling construction, and lack of responsiveness by hotel management makes this a questionable choice.

We really enjoyed our visit at this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The executive lounge was a great add with a very nice happy hour.

The location is extremely convenient and walkable to Aires Libres - the port of Montreal, downtown, Mcgill and more.

I can't really review the stay because I ultimately canceled it. However, I pay a lot of attention to Google reviews for hotels and thought it would be helpful for other travelers to understand that reservation flexibility is not the same in this hotel as in other Hilton branded hotels. I canceled because the manager refused to assist me in dropping one night from my stay (well in advance) without dramatically increasing the rate for the other nights. Through her staff, she tried to tell me I was "getting a discount" based on the number of nights I booked and that would no longer apply when I dropped one of the nights; my confirmation clearly detailed the rate that I was paying for each night, so I can only assume she's had success haggling with other guests in this disgusting manner. Rather than paying over $100 more for the same nights I already had reserved, I decided to stay at the absolutely beautiful AC Hotel (by Marriott) across the street for well over $100 less. I stay in Hilton brand hotels quite often and frequently have to make changes to reservations due to changing business circumstances, which is why I never do a pre-paid/non-flexible booking, and I've never experienced a Hilton brand hotel to be so inflexible. I wish her luck in booking a DoubleTree room on a Thursday night for $330.

The stay was fine the room was clean and the house keeping gentleman was very nice. That being said there is a middle aged woman at the front desk who needs a real lesson in manners. If she feels you are boring her or talking to slow she will interrupt you and sigh constantly during the conversation. If this hotel wants to be considered more than a 2 bit hotel maybe they should make sure their staff knows how to talk to people.

Clean room, nice view of the city center. However the rooms side by side separated by a door is a "less" for me. And the reception leaves something to be desired. The man who greeted us was arrogant. $ 328 for a standard room and a warm welcome .. never again!

Top class hotel, set in a shopping center. Executive rooms similar to those of a 5-star hotel. Nice view from the rooms on the top floors. Very friendly and efficient staff. Super recommended.

Pros:

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at the DoubleTree. Everything was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The checkin and checkout were a breeze, and although I don't speak French too much, the staff were knowledgeable enough to speak English. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily and the help from the front desk was superb anytime we need anything. Patrick Arthur, helped us check in, he was very polite and very professional at his job.

Ruisan helped us check out and he as well was very polite and professional. (if I spelt your name wrong please let me know and I will edit it)

The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT. It's right on st. Catheraines st. where all the night life and shopping stores seemed to be. We parked at the hotel and we didn't use our car the whole trip.

Cons:

The only downfall this hotel seems to have is the bathroom doors. They are sliding doors that leave a 4 inch gap on each side where you can visibly see anyone using the toilet. Now, because I was with my girlfriend, this was not a problem at all because we are very comfortable with each other. However, if it was anyone else, say a family member or a friend? There would be absolutely no way in hell those doors would work for me. I'm not going to take off any stars for that because it didn't bother me, but people should know, there is little to no privacy while using toilets. I thought long and hard about why they would do this and the only reason I can see them doing this is because there isn't exhaust fans in the bathrooms. So they need to leave the door slightly open to let out steam from showering. That's the only explanation I can think of that would make them put in a door that had 4 inch gaps on each side.

All in all this hotel is amazing and I would stay here again 100%
Great staff, amazing atmosphere and superb location. 10/10

Clean. Luxurious feeling. Bed is very comfortable. Had a king size bed facing the city. Fell asleep well. I would go back and stay here.

They have warm fresh cookies greeting you at the front desk.

Right on Rue St. Catherines, lots of art installations and street is closed down for pedestrians and also close to Chinatown. Great proximity to fun! And also a great retreat to recharge.

The only reason why I gave it a 4 is that on the 2nd night we flipped the bed sheets and thought we saw blood at the end of the bed sheet where they folded it, inwards. It could have been something else; the red and I've mistaken, but then psychologically, I wasn't able to sleep as comfortably and it's hard for me to sleep at home nevermind away from home. So sleeping is a big deal.

Location not really "user friendly". The premises are clean however there seemed to be a lack of communications with the employees. I went for a conference and when I asked an employee of the hotel at the reception where the conference was she did not know where it was. She told me it was probably on a different level .. .. I often go to conferences in hotels and this was the first time I had been exploring this.

Went to this hotel for a conference. Great space with a lot of breakout rooms for smaller groups. The food we received for lunch was great all three days. Attached to a large shopping mall.
