Good spot to hit before the UK game. Could use so...
Good spot to hit before the UK game. Could use some better beers on tap but overall pretty good place.

Very nice. I was only there for an emergency restroom stop, but the lobby and subsequent bathrooms were very clean and well stocked, and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful.
Stayed there after a Kentucky game one night and staff would not provide me with an extra key to my room even though I had already paid for the room. They said, "we already gave you a key," but I had lost mine earlier that night. Overall horrible service and extremely rude staff.
We are trying very hard to support restaurants, bartenders and hotels through this pandemic but unfortunately this stay was challenging. The young lady who checked us in was delightful, but we were in the 15 floor and hot water for showers was luke warm at best, the room temperature was frigid and despite our best efforts there was not a heat option. Those who frequent Hyatt s recognize lots of pillows but slim bedding options for warmth.
Its a nice hotel. Avoid when it cheerleader competitions
Not a bad place. Fond memories made and kept at this place.
Great hotel, friendly staff, a Maker's Mark themed bar downstairs and you're literally connected to Rupp Arena.
I loved staying at the Hyatt. I slept like a baby!
Received prompt and excellent service when requests were made. Enjoyed my stay and plan to return.
Our family had a wonderful family reunion here. The staff friendly & beds comfy. The food at Banquet was delicious.
Hospitable staff. Especially Peter, the manager. Pretty clean overall. Good location. Refrigerator in room, a definite plus. But like many hotels it needs some updating/renovating. Would definitely stay again though!
Was charged for parking upon arrival due to an event at Rupp. The staff didn't care. The shower pressure is also very weak.
Spacious, clean rooms that are well appointed, great desk staff, nice bar and grill.
In the heart of downtown, a short walk from the U of K.
Great night sleep! And very convenient for the Hotel to be connected to Rupp Arena...nice food and bar!
My review is based purely on the price I paid via Hotwire. If I paid Expedia price it would have been a standard result. We had a great deal and paid very little for a hotel in the best Lexington location possible. Great rooms and hotel for our price. Parking is free on the weekend. Great view of the old town from our room. Buffet is $15 on not included in our rate. Free good internet.
So Far the Hyatt hotels that i have been to have been very worth staying!!!
I recently attended the Hyatt for the AAPG annual meeting. The food was incredible and the sceneries stunning, though I wasn't lucky enough to stay at the hotel from what I saw the place is one of the nicest. 5 stats for the food and the overall attitude of the employees.
A wonderful and quiet hotel in the heart of Lexington. I beautifully decorated room, makes you feel relaxed.
Great place to work and it was nice seeing old faces went I went to my first game!
A beautiful hotel with lots of amenities! A great bar and love the location.
Nice clean hotel and good localtion. Note that you will hear street noise, sirens since it is downtown. They do provide ear plugs in to room.
Lovely rooms, good service. Highly recommended if you are in the area
Visited a friend who was staying there, everyone on staff was friendly and the building looked magnificent!
Nice staff. The rooms were clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool. At this time of the year, with the pandemic and all, Lexington is a boring city, but our stay at this hotel made the experience better. They don t do room service right now and the restaurant downstairs is closed due to Covid. But it s very central and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants.
Staff was very polite and helpful as soon as i walked in and it was very clean and nice inside aand bathrooms smelt wonderful!!!
Hotel is outdated and is definitely in need of a face lift as well as the Convention center that is now being redone next door. Give this place a couple more years and I'm sure it will be something more special however ever right now it has fell by the wayside and it shows that it hasn't stayed up to par with other hotels in the area. The upside to this hotel if any right now is that it is connected to Rupp Arena and is great if your in town for a basketball game , concert or another event. The Blue Fire bar and grill leaves alot to be desired and has always had a feeling wanting you more to the menu when there are so many good options downtown.
Beautiful hotel! Hard to find parking if you come and go throughout the day
I had lunch at the Bluefish Bar & Grill. It took a while to be noticed at the host station, but once we the manager saw us, we were seated promptly, ordered quickly, and recorded our beverages and meals as soon as they were ready. The food was tasty, the prices were fair, and the service was otherwise exemplary.
Connected to Rupp arena beautiful place on the inside very friendly helpful staff
Awesome beautiful.an update scale hotel with all the bells and wistles
While I have never stayed at the hotel, I did attend a social event in the Patterson Ballroom. It was very nice and had plenty of room compared to where we had had the event in years past. The staff was courteous, the tables looked nice, and everything went well. I would just caution trying to have an event there the same night something big is happening at Rupp arena, because parking will be an issue.
Was there for a convention. Professional staff, wonderful facility.
The best hotel in downtown Lexington. They do their best to keep it updated.
Of course the best from Hyatt. I travel alot and Hyatt's are always clean and accommodating. Shout to the bar staff on the night of 11/27/2017. Came in late near closing of the kitchen and they could not have been kinder exceptional customer service.
Had a good time, but drinks were horribly over priced!
I had reserved a room at the hotel well in advance of my trip. 2 days before I was supposed to check in I received an email thanking me for notifying the hotel about my change in plans and confirming that my reservation was cancelled. I hadn't changed my plans or requested a cancellation. I called to ask what was going on and was told there was a fire at the hotel and it would be closed for the time I was supposed to be staying there. I don't know why they didn't just say that in the email, but ok, accidents happen. The way they handled the accident was terrible, though.
They tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor by issuing a full refund for the reservation they cancelled. Gee, thanks Hyatt. They didn't make any effort to help me find another room on such short notice, and obviously I had to pay through the nose when I did find another room. I asked Hyatt to reimburse me for the difference in cost, since the other hotel had rates almost identical to Hyatt's at the time I booked with Hyatt, but increased substantially in the intervening time. This is what an airline does when they have to cancel a flight because the airline recognizes that a person's travel plans extend beyond just the flight being purchased. Apparently the people at Hyatt don't grasp this concept, because they rejected my request. I had been a member of Hyatt's rewards program prior to this incident, but I'll never book with them again.
Found a good rate here using the the Hyatt app. Very friendly service. Great view of the Park and a spectacular view of an overnight thunderstorm from our 16th floor room. Walking distance to The Village Idiot, a great local spot with creative dishes and a hella bourbon selection. But...the bathroom smelled faintly of an ashtray, bathtub was stained, and water pressure/volume was low and erratic. HVAC registers were caked with dust. This place has been updated but needs more attention to detail. Given the rate, I would consider staying elsewhere before returning.
Great hotel - located in the heart of downtown, connected to Rupp Arena and the Lexington Center complex, and recently renovated too. The rooms were spacious and very nice, the location makes getting to a Cats game a breeze, and the everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no better choice for UK fans!
Very nice friendly manager in restaurant make you feel welcome and warm deshaw Henderson make me want to come back again
When I arrived at the hotel, I had to get out of the car with my phone and look at the hotel physically and compare it to the pictures online which did not match at all. Older photos for sure. For what they are charging for the room, I was very disappointed. I expected better amenities, nicer rooms and better food. This location is in need of a renovation or they need to lower their prices tremendously. At one time the hotel might have been nicer but time has not been kind to this hotel. For a place so close to Rupp Arena, you would think they would invest more into the company. They also need to remove the photos online that are clearly out of date. The online photos are false advertising in my opinion. I definitely want to go back in time and break my fingers so I would have never made this reservation. I am trying to stay away from the hotel as much as possible and only sleep there. It's a nice hotel when my eyes are closed. I've stayed at hotels that are cheaper and nicer. I should have went with my gut and canceled my reservation when I pulled up.
Was here for a conference, was clean, staff were pleasant, has an onsite restaurant that was decent for a hotel restaurant
For the money,,, The rooms are small, dated and dusty! The restaurant was nice but I expected better. My food was not good nor did it all come out, I had to ask for part of it and when it came it wasn't right. The people there were nice. Won't be staying again!
Great gym and indoor pool, rooms are fine not the best definitely not the worst
Great hotel! Perfect location with easy access to the many restaurants and bars in downtown Lexington. Room on the 15th floor had an amazing view of downtown.
Nice hotel.
Getting kinda old but they've updated their rooms.
Attached to Rupp Arena, but not for long.
Looking forward to the new renovations to the Lexington Center!
Upon arriving we were greeted by Peter at the front desk. He was very kind and courteous. And helped us right away. After arriving to our room (which was very pleasant and clean) we went to the restaurant. Where we were greeted by the hostess/bartender (Brandy) . Who seated and served us promptly. Our food was brought out and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection by (Morgan) top notch chef she came out and we were greeted by her . What a wonderful experience. 5 Star s all the way.
As an Executive chef I could not have been more pleased!
Great place in lexington to stay! Enjoyed the hotel only complaint was they started cleaning our room before we checked out while we were eating breakfast because our bags were already in the car and they ended up throwing away some of our documents and we had to go through the trash to get them back. Overall good experience though
Great rooms, easy parking and good room service. I'd stay here again.
Dirty rooms (cigarette butts on the floor) lack of security and clueless staff
Excellent accommodation. Everything at your fingertips. Easy in easy out.
During the Lexington comic con. Was in the ballroom for a private acoustic concert from james marsters
The rooms were very nice, and the service was swell, but the air conditioning always felt cold. Yes, we had blankets, but some nights it felt like not even that was enough.
