Family always stays here when they ate in town. Love visiting them here. Big town feel, small(ish) country town feel

For the cost to stay here, I shouldnt have to use a trashy service elevator because 2 out of 3 elevators are broken. Hair from previous guests on glassware in the room. Previous visits have been good, but this one is disappointing.
Only thing I need to say is Rupp Arena. UK basketball is at this hotel!
Very nice, very clean. Location had some loud traffic at all hours of the night. But very close to great food spots and connection to the convention center was super convenient.
Facility was nice for a convention. Only complaint was it was very cold all weekend. Was told the heating was not working.
We ate dinner here before a basketball game. We were very impressed with the food and the service. We will definitely be eating here again instead of walking around looking for food!
Really nice very clean food a little pricey for the quality
The staff here is incredible so polite I enjoy it every year when we come here
If you are in one of the rooms overlooking the bar/ restaurant at least 5 floors. Be prepared to not get any sleep. Everything echoes from the ground floor you can hear loud drunks talking at all hours of the night. It might be better if you stay above the 5th floor. I will not stay in this hotel again.
Great central location and very accommodating front desk.
Attended a conference at the facility. Nothing extraordinary or negative to say.
Went for a conference and was there for normal minutes. Meal was nice, however, wait staff checked-out during an awards presentation.
Overworked wait staff on a slow Saturday night left us waiting for food and beverages much longer than necessary and a vapid hostess couldn't understand a simple television change request as if we had been speaking Swahili. Room was nice, hotel overall could use some updating. Big fan of Hyatt, but this hotel isn't its finest. Tried to charge us for parking when it was free. Quickly refunded, yet they were trying to sneak it past us to see if we'd notice.
Very nice hotel and watched wildcats play down at the bar and grill. CATS
Fabulous experience. Clean, modem, spacious rooms. Friendly employees, secure building. Awesome stay.
Nice rooms. Hotel staff was nice. Only downfall is the hotel bar closes at 11:00.
Below average experience, unfortunately! Dated decor which was peeling and worn in most areas. Pictures online clearly from 10 years ago! Bathroom comically small with mildewed shower. Off site parking across the street not appreciated In the pouring rain, but at least it was included in the booking price. No breakfast included but can be purchased for $10 per person (definitely would recommend going outside the hotel though). Extremely noisy! Up all night with police sirens and ambulances and the AC unit. Though we were on a higher floor, the street noise sounded like it was right in our room in addition to the noise between floors and rooms. (As soon as we saw the one set of ear plugs on the bedside table (though there were two of us), we knew it was going to be a sleepless night). Disappointing for the brand in which we generally have a good experience.
TDLR: spend your money elsewhere!
Bar charged me the wrong price but fixed it. They closed super early
The staff here is the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered across the country.
Was at the Hyatt bar before the red white and boom concert and it was great.
Very cool place. It is Rupp arena. It was clean and nice. Would recommend.
Attended a business meeting there. Everyone was really nice. The facilities were top-notch.
Nice hotel for the price but you do get charged for extras i.e wi fi bottled water that's in your room ...extra towels and linens
This was an amazing experience. The Hyatt Recency staff was extremely helpful. The conference rooms are high class and comfortable.
Delivered their mail. Everyone is super nice and the place looks great.
Great friendly staff, and great location downtown Lexington!
Smaller rooms than other Hyatts. Otherwise about what you would expect from a Hyatt. Parking is either pricey valet or self parking across the street, so not terribly convenient.
Hotel staff is friendly and the rooms were nice. Bar in the lobby was only OK. Staff was rude, but the food was great.
Rooms nice and clean. Staff helpful and accommodating
For the last two years I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency every other month. Each stay has been above average, but I recently had a very bad experience. Upon entry, I had a bad feeling as the landscaping that is normally well kept was overgrown with weeds. I was charged for the "bed and breakfast" although the restaurant is closed. My room's shower did not drain, the toilet was running constantly, and the toilet was also stained with urine. They didn't have an engineer onsite so I was forced to change rooms.
There are too many competitive options in downtown Lexington to risk experiencing this poor quality again.
In the midst of a pandemic you'd think they would clean their rooms thoroughly but that's not at all the case.
There was trash all over the floor and stains on the sheets. Totally unacceptable and the next time I'm in Lexington I'll be avoiding this place. Could've got a cleaner room at a Red Roof Inn
Shuttle driver from the airport was prompt and very courteous
Great place, friendly people. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
We ate there for lunch after an event. Staff was nice and professional.
Very helpful staff although my shower was clogged when I got in and it appears there was something left/stuck to my mirror.
Good, clean room. Not a problem but noticed there was no lock on the bathroom door in the room. Lobby was very nice but closed fairly early
Room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly during checkin. Shuttle driver was nice as well. It was my first visit
16th floor was the best floor with the nest showers. Even numbered rooms have a good view of thw downtown square.
I was attending a business meeting. The meeting room was set up nicely. The audio visual worked great. The breakfast and lunch were very tasty. The staff were professional, helpful, and very friendly.
Easy check in, friendly staff. Everything was great. Will reserve again!
I love staying at this hotel. The customer service is the best. The rooms are clean, location is perfect, and I m always greeted with a smile and welcome. Highly recommend the breakfast - great options.
Came for a co defence at the Hyatt. The room is nice and service has been very quick and friendly. Location is great for downtown.
This is the 2nd time at a Hyatt there was blood on the sheet.
Attended the bull riding event on March 2nd. The show/competition was very good. I was there with my wife and son. We all had a great time! Rupp Arena was clean and for the most part very orderly. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The emoyees were helpful when asked questions and made our visit a very delightful.
Was only in the lounge prior to a concert, but staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.
We got a great deal on priceline for a "bed and breakfast" deal. We were pleased with the room, although the bathroom was a little small. I posted a YouTube video room tour recently if you want to see it. The breakfast was good and the waitress friendly. I like that they will bring you items you forgot like a hairbrush and nail polish remover. Would stay here again if the price was right.
Convenient location, nice and cleanly rooms, pleasant and timely service.
Great service, and very friendly staff, and i would recommend for people to stay there.
Very accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms and good food.
Loved this hotel and staff! My only complaint, the restaurant closed early for weekend, late arriving guests.
Stopped into the bar before the James Taylor concert. It was a bit crowded, but seats became available at the bar. Service was pretty quick, and, while the bartender was busy, they checked back in pretty frequently.
They served dirty tea water, but everything else was lovely!
The hubby and I stayed at the Hyatt for a business conference, the room was great! Clean and we'll kept, linens and towels as well. The hotel is connected to the conference/civic center which was super convenient.
Walked through on my way to the UK blue/white game.
Attended a session at the Alltech One17 Conference. Great speakers, great food, and a good experience. Only critique is the ballroom needed better air flow for the number of people.
Great customer service, clean comfortable rooms, beautiful indoor pool and awesome fitness center!
Their pillows were so comfy I was debating stealing one and taking it home to use in my room. Would defiantly stay here again
The Hyatts staff was very professional and courteous. Location is superb and the valet parking was fantastic!
I was only there for an event but the main lobby area and staff was extreamily clean, nice, and friendly.
Warned of a $250 smoking fee but our entire hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, luckily we brought our air purifier and it quickly became a nonissue.
The location of the hotel is amazing, the rooms are clean, and the staff was very helpful.
*Be prepared to be looked down upon by the fancy guests.
Nice hotel

Great location very neat and clean. My only complaint Is that the showers don't get hot enough.
Okay property if not for the price. There were no suites available so we went with the standard king room. The room itself puts my in the mind of a Microtel or something of the sort.. small, unaccommodating, and learning toward dated. We arrived early enough to go out but not knowing the area well we opted to try to restaurant in house. My wife had the burger and fries.. the fries were okay but the burger was as dry as cardboard. I had the chili and convinced the cook to make a grilled cheese, chili I m almost certain came from a can but the grilled cheese was pretty good.
All in, I definitely couldn t recommend this property for the price v/s value. There is a Hilton across the street that is far better IMO.
