Hyatt Regency Lexington Reviews

This location is great because not only is it downtown and within walking distance from many restaurants and entertainment venues, it's attached to Rupp Arena. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The amenities are great, including ear plugs, single serve Starbucks coffee and tea in each room, and many toiletries that aren't normally available. This is definitely a hotel I will use again when in Lexington.

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the lunch buffet at the Blue Fire Bar and Grill was amazing

Very nice urban Lexington hotel. Overlooking Park area, central to all downtime amenities, and several great restaurants. Hotel up to Hyatt standards, but not exceptional.

There is alot of construction however around the hotel but had no issues with regards to that or traffic. Parking attendants to park your car very friendly $20 for parking your car by them, free parking across the street.
Would go back and stay again.

Clean. Good gym. Place to walk to to eat. Pool. Tons of office space.

Extremely dissapointed. Always stay at Hyatt's as service is excellent and beds are comfortable. Traveling for business and not being able to receive a clear room makes your stay unpleasant. My room was dirty (chip crimps on the floor, toilet paper next to the duvet on my bed, sauce jar in the floor, bathroom unclean, dust everywhere). Arriving at 730 pm on a weekday, was told no one was available to clean my room at that time.

Coffee filter was never changed during my stay, I had to dispose of everyday. Food I ordered in the room was never taken away, I had to call so they remove it. I ordered potato chips and were not edible as they look they've been cooked in very old oil.

3 nights in, everyday same experience. Such a shame when Hyatt is always my first option.

My room overlooked Rupp Arena. The free cookies were very good too. Room was clean and really nice

Great location, all else as expected for a Hyatt property. Location is perfect for dining out, and milling around downtown and the university area.

I didn't stay at the Hyatt. I was there for the comic con in Lexington. I never made it past the lobby. The hotel was attached to the conversation center.

Worked here for months, I would have to say I d rather go to Louisville branch buuuuut HYATT was quite a wonderful experience, especially working the omelet station! Great place to stay!

Very comfy beds. Breakfast was really good. Staff is very friendly. Plenty to do close by.

They help make the Lexington Toy and comic con going experience amazing.

In short, room was clean and nice. Staff was pleasant. Bed was a bit "sinky" for lack of another word. The kicker for myself was the lack of continental breakfast and the ridiculous $4 price on a bottle of water in the room. At that point i looked at the menu for breakfast and realized I'd have to take out a small loan to justify anything past coffee (almost $8 for a small 4cup brew). For a slightly higher dollar hotel, I don't expect a free breakfast, but i don't want to feel like you're going to charge me for using the soap either.

Our service was great! The staff was always attentive! The bar was nice, but kind of slow later in the evening. And its within walking distance to everything!

This was so disappointing for a Hyatt and my arrival at the Hyatt in Louisville just confirmed my expectations were not too high! Everything in my room just looked run down and old. The shower curtain was all wrinkled and missing the metal pieces in half the curtain hanging loops. Some of the curtain hangers were broken or missing. Weird black moldy spots in the shower and it didn t drain AT ALL. Just disgusting when sharing a room with other people. The carpets were dirty and the white sheets had marks on them. The pillows were uncomfortable. It just felt dingy in there. So glad we only had to stay two nights!! Wish we would ve booked elsewhere. The bar downstairs was nice though.

Room was nice and clean. Gym is better than most hotels. Do not bother with the "blue flame restaurant". breakfast was basically the same buffet for a week.
When we arrived it was later evening for convince we went to bar and found they had a very limited menu. I my food order was wrong on the first attempt. I was given vegetarian pulled pork (how is that even a thing?) When I questioned the lack of meat I was told that it was supposed to be like that.
It was only after continuing to question it that the staff decided to replace. The replacement was also not as advertised and was lacking the coleslaw it was supposed to have. My inquiry was ignored by the bar staff. Not wanting to waste anymore time in this joke. I just finished my dinner.
The prices are also insane. A Bourbon barrel ale for $12 are you kidding me?
2 sandwiches 3 beers and a Bourbon drink on special for $90 ha!
I could have went someplace good for that!

Long story short. Don't bother eating here. I won't if I ever return.

Kind staff, clean environment, extremely convenient location connected to the arena and food court/shopping area. Triangle park just outside the door and the best of downtown steps away!

Just went with my girlfriend to some gathering for her old work. But it was awesome.

The Hyatt was very clean and tidy. The staff were prompt with any help and the reservation was for a single king size bed. This request was met and there was positive communication regarding check in and room readiness via email.

Very nice hotel and staff. Great access to downtown and only a short drive to local fun spots.

It was a wonderful place. The people were mostly friendly. We were therr for my granddaughters graduation.

Very nice hotel in beautiful downtown Lexington. Stays busy during the year as it is connected to Rupp Arena. However, the hotel staff is great, the facilities are excellent, and there are great restaurants within walking distance.

Great place, really nice rooms, great location. Staff is excellent...friendly and professional. No matter what time of year, there's always lots of activities going on in and around the hotel. Nice bar/restaurant in the lobby, and many places within walking distance.

Good location. Friendly staff. Rooms are a decent size and clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a large variety. Free parking nearby or you can valet. There are shops onsight but unfortunately many are closed and empty. The hotel is connected to Rupp Arena and near Triangle Park and The Square.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Lexington on foot, and the price was reasonable. The room was comfortable and nice, and parking and wifi were free.

Pretty good stay so far , close to a lot of restaurants and downtown so it's a good place to stay , room is good no complaints

My family has had a great stay here before while visiting me, so I already liked Hyatt for overnight stays. Today we held an alumni event here and I have to commend the excellent staff. Almost everything was perfect (great food, nice meeting rooms), but the moment anything went even a little wrong everyone was right there ready to fix it. Staff introduced themselves to me and gave me easy contact numbers so we could reach them during the day. They made it feel so easy and personable. 100% likely to recommend (and hopefully use again!)

Good hotel, parking lot across the street which was a bit of a problem on a rainy day.

This is the perfect location if your are attending any Rupp Arena Event. Check in was a breeze you can park your own car for free or choose the valet service for additional fee. The room was really clean and neatly laid out. The view from my room on the 7th floor was nice. It has shopping and dining. Check out was a breeze and the housekeeper on my way out even told me to have a great day. A+ staff!

Great location and very nice rooms. It's connected to the Rupp center for easy access to events too. The bar is in a solarium/atrium with a very nice selection of whisky.

I attended the Hyatt for a conference, hardly interacted with the hotel itself

Recently staying with this Hyatt location I was not impressed at all. After booking a few weeks in advance paying a premium price, near $400 for 1 nights stay, I was expecting something different. The assigned room was not anything requested. The toilet ran all night, absolutely not a great comfortable bed, the reason for choosing this location was being close to a college sporting event we had attended. I would think once you basically raped me on the 1 nights stay, I would be able to get a 2 mile ride one way from your shuttle, but no!! I would think after being raped I would be able to get a simple continental breakfast for free, but no!!! Just so your aware Hyatt, your much less expensive competition offers at the very least a continental breakfast to they're guest. I'm positive you could care less now that you've got my money!! I travel quite a bit, but GUARANTEE I WON'T BE BACK!!! THANKS, keep up your great polices!!

We only stayed one night but it was enough to make me want to go back again. Rooms were very clean, building was very modern with lots of natural light. We had some drinks at the bar that were very good. And it was right in downtown Lexington, within walking distance of numerous historical sites like the Hunt-Morgan house and the Lexington cemetery. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

Booked a standard room with double beds for a night after a UK game at Rupp. The front desk found a king on an upper floor for us at no additional charge so worked out great. You're basically paying for the convenience of staying by Rupp and downtown, because the hotel itself isn't really anything special. Rooms pretty standard, clean and nicely appointed. A carafe of coffee, bowl of ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie sent up via room service will run you $24. The only gripe I had was the shower was luke warm at best around 9:30 in the morning and water pressure was pretty weak. For $300 a night, I figured I could have the shower as hot as I could stand it.

I went to the UK KU college basketball game. Getting in and out was pretty easy.

Excellent option of lodging, with space of events and close to Rupp Arena. There's a nice bar at the reception.

I stayed in a standard 2 bed room. Bathrooms were great, sleek clean bathrooms.

I usually stay at the Griffin Gate (Marriott) for horse shows. They were full, so I came to this hotel. It was wonderful! Very clean and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I disliked was not having a window to open. but I suppose that is expected in a downtown hotel. Would recommend this place to anyone (unless you're claustrophobic)!

Nice typical Hyatt. Avoid interior atrium facing rooms, they're very noisy. Great beds and linens

I actually stayed at home2 by Hilton which was great. I only attended event at Hyatt regency. It seems to be a nice hotel. Food was good
