Hyatt Regency Lexington Review

Excellent location! Lots of amenities around the area! Great Hotel!

The walls were paper thin, we got back to the rom around midnight and could hear our neighbors partying until 3am.

Very clean and professional with plenty of staff on hand for anything you need.

Only 1 elevator worked, most of the shops were closed due to remolding.

I'm a vendor at the Home & Garden show this weekend. I don't know who the nice gentleman was manning front desk this morning but he was SO immensely helpful to me this morning as I was trying to get into the show!! Thank you!!!

Very nice just needs to be cleaned a little bit better.

Beautiful. Was only there briefly visiting but was impressed all the same.

Great beds but poor bathroom. There were fluctuations in the pressure and temperature of the shower. The hot water never got very hot, and the fixture was installed upside down. The towels were also old and tattered.

Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Broken vending machine and ice machine on our floor. Light in my bathroom also took 2-3 flips to turn on

I had a very positive experience staying at this nice, clean hotel during my three day interview time for a job at UK. Great hotel!

So far. So good. It's really early in our stay, but these peeps take care of you pretty well. To be continued....Hey look. This place is connected to all the major places in downtown Lexington. Yeah, the Marriott does too, but the Hyatt is directly connected with Rupp Arena. If you are into the Cats and in 2022 when the Lexington Center is completed, this is where you will want to stay. Even if you don't care about the Cats, the location of this place will be within walking distance of many great places to eat and shop. Look. If you're at the Boys State Tournament or if the Cats game there, this place is the ticket. The Marriott or others don't have the advantages The Hyatt does.

Nice Hotel but I wouldn't stay in the summer. The air conditioning is horrible. I was switch to 3 different rooms in the 2 weeks I stayed there. I was only able to get my temp down to 71 after 4 hrs running.

Great looking hotel. Staff have been polite and helpful, haven't taken much advantage of the pool or gym so can't speak for those but they do exist. Conference and meeting rooms available.

Pretty nice hotel, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff also seems friendly and helpful which is always a good bonus.

I'd give it more stars, but when I came to check in the front door had several patrons from the hotel bar outside smoking so we had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke just to get in through the main entrance.

Ppl are very nice customers very rude when you have to fix something in room but service is excellent.

This was the second concecutive year that I had Thanksgiving dinner here. You should have reservations ahead of time for this. The upscale buffet style dinner is very good, provides a great variety, and the service is even better. I will almost certainly make it three years in a row next year.

Nice hotel, good location especially to convention center. Rooms are renovated and quiet.

Stayed for a kentucky football game. They have a bus that leaves for the field right out front for 1$.suoer convenient. The rooms were clean and the amenities were abundant. The rooms view was excellent, as I suggest you request a view of the square. We had no problems with valet, early check in, or house keeping. Woke up late for breakfast but it sounded delicious. Would stay again, maybe not during a country music festival.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Rooms are very nice and wi fi is easy to connect to.

My stay here has been amazing! The staff is super helpful and friendly, the location is perfect for experiencing downtown Lexington. The rooms are modern with the best showers ever. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to Lexington!

Room was nice, yet small and without a fridge or anything

Staff are nice, I was only delivering food to a security guard around 1am.

The hotel is nice. But windows don't seem to block the noise of the square it overlooks.

I really wanted to love this Hyatt. The employees go above and beyond but sadly they can't fix everything. Very loud with sirens and cars racing. Zero sleep.

Very clean and new. The breakfast had a place where you could cook your own eggs. Nice front desk help. We had a group of 26 and everyone was happy with their rooms. They were ready and waiting on us when we arrived.

Hyatt Regency was very pleasant. The staff was more than helpful in accomadating us during our stay. I loved it and would gladly stay again for future events.

The only problem I had was the price for alcoholic drinks but at the same time it's a very nice hotel attached to a stadium that hosts one of the best basketball teams in the country so I see why they still get a lot of business. I would only go on rare occasions because my friend is a bartender and I don't like basketball.

Nice hotel but needs a couple upgrades. i.e. shower heads and nicer staff.

Kind of a cool place. Right next to the university and all of the amenities of downtown. It's attached to the basketball arena for KU also.

I was in town for a friend's wedding recently and was fortunate enough to pick a room from this beautiful hotel. My room was comfortable and had an excellent view of the city. I always enjoy my visits to Lexington and this made it all the better. Room Service was top notch. I'd definitely recommend a room here if you're coming to town.

Great location connected to Rupp Arena. We were in town for a concert and bring directly connected to the venue was awesome.

Great location downtown right by Rupp Arena and the staff were great and very helpful.

Very disappointed about my experience here. To start the room I was given the AC was broke and after a visit from the maintenance man to my room twice, I packed up all my stuff and sat in the lobby until they found me another room. When the maintenance guy was in the room I watched him pull the filter, it was black and full. He left it in the unit. Probably thinking I didn't see it.
Breakfast was horrible. Expensive for the quality of food served. Waffle House serves better food. The hostest that sat us was nice but must of been new. Seemed like everyone was rushing around and short staffed. Lastly be prepared to be nicked and dimed for everything. $20 a night for Valet, $4 a bottle for Aquafina water in the rooms. (Aquafina Lol)
My recommendation is not to stay here. I will not be. I have several other trips planned back to Lexington. I will stay somewhere else.

Attending conference in Lexington, and using spaces around the Hyatt. The city architecture is gorgeous and the facilities are kept well and are in good shape.

Liked the ambiance. The bar/resteruant area is too open. Will be back.

Not sure what happened but not as great as last time I stayed

The entire location is very nice looking. Clean, and well maintained. Easily able to accommodate the 400 people attending our conference. Not sure if it was an off day but the meal we had at the location was not good. The potatoes were undercooked and the chicken was dry. The servers also didnt seem like they wanted to be there. I would say that is the only bad experience I had my whole time there.

Everything was pretty good. Nothing unexpected and nothing missing.

We decided to splurge a little and book a room for my nieces wedding that was held somewhere else. When we checked in we were told breakfast was at 630. So after paying 220 for valet and room we had to pay 35 for breakfast! Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. We'll try the Hilton across the road the next time we splurge on a room .

We had our vehicle parked in the hotel parking lot for one night. The passenger window was smashed and we had some belongings stolen out of our vehicle. When asked to see the surveillance video to help authorities we were told the cameras were "recently turned away from the parking lot." No reimbursement or offer to help take care of any of the cost. We thought staying in a "higher end" hotel was the smart choice. Not the case!

The hotel is amazing. However the pool leaves a lot to be desired considering there is no sauna or hot tub.

Very modern hotel, with large, clean room, and a great bar/dining area with plenty of televisions to catch a game! Very friendly staff and an available, express room service after midnight. Would recommend.

Front desk doesn't answer the phone. Wifi extremely slow. No microwaves. Outdated musty rooms.

Wonderful in every way! Best customer service in every department. Great rooms, great food, problem solver extraordinaires! Lol Treat everyone like royalty, and so giving and sweet. Everyone was always smiling sincerely. Even the Operator was smiling, you could hear it! Wonderful! Worth every penny! And so clean! Even the managers chipped in. It was the best hotel experience we have EVER had! Mike, Lydia, Jessica you were super amazing. The guys at desk last night were so sweet and tolerant of my constant confusion. I love you all!

This was our first trip to Lexington and I booked our stay at the Hyatt mainly because it had several good reviews. Our room was located on the 6th floor and the street noise was unbearable. Housekeeping left earplugs, which made it obvious the hotel was aware of how problematic the noise was. Also, the room was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom had toenail clippings laying in the floor and were not removed after a note was left for housekeeping. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

Very nice atmosphere and it connects to the convention center

Nice place and good people. But, when it is not highly occupied it took over five minutes for the hot water to reach the ninth floor. Plus there is nobody at valet parking after 11:00 pm so we had to park it ourselves. Room service breakfast was fast and good. Would have been five starts except for the water and parking.

Great location and professional service as together to make for a fine hotel experience.

We've stayed at this hotel three years in a row for a comic book convention. This past stay was great as usual. The check in process was easy - they even offered up a pre-chrck in prior to my arrival. We arrived early (8 AM) and to out surprise, our room was already ready.

The location is perfect. Close to many restaurants and the con itself (it's connected to Rupp Arena). I've never eaten at the hotel because of the price but the restaurant is always full. There is a pool but I've never had time to swim in it.

The staff members are always very friendly and helpful.

They do have a security feature on the elevator where you have to use your key card to go above the lobby level. This seems to confuse everyone, even though this is clearly explained at check in. So if you're going to stay here, remember this.

I also wanes to shout out the guys in valet. They're seriously amazing!! They go out of their way to help and take great care of the cars. I can't wait for our next stay here!!

We stay here every year. ABSOLUTELY kind and friendly staff. ..my daughter complained of a stomach ache upon check in...they brought us juice to our room. We needed milk for our infant...room service delivered. they did not charge us a dime. they went out of their way and above and beyond to make us comfortable. we asked for a crib for baby. they came with the crib and baby shampoo and baby lotion.. everything is name brand and not something cheap. The beds are phenomenal. The down comforters are so worth it. The view out the window..The fountains etc. love this place. super clean and near lots of cool stuff!

Rooms were very comfortable and the a/c worked great and the internet was your standard not great hotel internet
