The band Caught Red Handed was amazing. The staff at the event was very friendly and efficient. Accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Nice rooms, very clean and beds comfortable. Supper was meh.

the toilet was broken and took hours to fix. The pool was cold and my teens didn't enjoy it. They liked the fitness room. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.
Worst Hyatt experience in some time. Heat was not working in the room. After three visits by technician I was told he'd be back with parts but I have up after 11 pm. Paper thin walls even on the upgraded floors. Front desk people friendly but not helpful in my case.
Great location with easy access to restaurants and other events. Rooms were clean and the bed was more comfortable than expected. Good food at the restaurant, but the service wasn't the best. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was one of the best I have had.
Love staying at the Hyatt for Basketball.Do not like prices of popcorn at Rupp for high school tournaments. Not Hyatt problem.Just complaining somewhere.
Was going to stay for the Foo Fighters concert but after they cancelled abruptly, the manager was kind enough to cancel our reservation. Hard to beat Hyatt's service even with only middle tier status.
Our second stay here, and would come back. Lots of interesting things within walking distance, and conviently located to many other points of interest. The only thing, when there is an event at the Rupp Arena, traffic can be a bit tricky. Some rooms can me a little noisy. Neither of which is so problematic as to prevent our return.
Hyatt Regency Lexington would be a good spot for a wedding, especially because of its access to the convention center. Unfortunately, it was our 2nd choice.
Not a great place. Multi-million dollar hotel with ONLY one microwave located in there restaurant. Bottle water is $4.00 a pop!!! (Gotta find clever ways to pay for this monster-expensive hotel) They hang the towels in the shower (yuck). There is a mini fridge in the room but no freezer portion of the fridge. Fancy fancy, but lack some of the basic accommodations
This is a very nice hotel. Room very clean. Super convenient being right next to Rupp Arena where we were going to watch basketball game. The view from my room looked out over a outside ice skating rink that i thought was cute. I had dinner at a place in there that had a pool hall and the ribeye sandwich was great.
There is a great fitness center, and it is located downtown. The beds are comfortable, the curtains keep out the early morning light, and the hotel provides soft ear plugs.
Staff and lobby area is nice. Rooms are the weakest offering of any Hyatt brand I have visited. Restaurant and pool closed no fault of hotel. Requested 2 rooms with park view and got one room facing construction out the window on wrong side. Water damage in one room. There should have been a discount in points used as the offering is not to expected quality for a REGENCY brand.
Clean and bright. Week kept. However the lobby is right next to the bar restaurant. The odd food smell lingers... front desk staff was friendly and courteous but didn't address us until after we approached them
Just used conference rooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and good was decent for conference menu. Staff were a little short with everyone and some training in customer service could be useful. Overall little complaints.
Stayed here while attending the Lexington Comic convention. The location is very convenient, many nice restaurants within walking distance. The beds however, are very uncomfortable, didnt get a solid nights sleep all weekend. The showers would never really get hot, and the water pressure would just randomly drop. Next time i am going to try the Hilton.
Edit May 2016 Another great stay and looking forward to my next trip to downtown LEX...
Best location in downtown Lexington with many good restaurants and bars within walking distance.. Rupp Arena and the Convention Center are connected to the hotel and there is also a small two floor mall in the lowest levels. Great staff, nice rooms and perks for HGP members. The self parking is FREE and the parking lot is just across the street (very short walk) from the valet area on High Street and is shared with Rupp Arena/Convention Center.
The hotel was located next door to Rupp Arena. I was there for a few days for a 2 day work training. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. A wonderful stay.
The Hyatt is a amazing place!!!! The staff was great, rooms were spacious, and the food at the restaurant was great. Definitely will be coming back very soon.
Attended for a conference on August 8-12, 2018. Overall, I was happy with just about everything other than the continental breakfast (which seemed to be basically just a couple of fruit bowls and pastries when I went). The rooms were kept up well, the view was great, and the staff were really nice and receptive to our needs.
Attended a work Christmas party. There was an employee in the lobby waiting to help direct us to the proper room, which was nice! The food was served buffet style and was all delicious.
Rooms are very clean and staff is friendly and prompt. We had a draining issue with our sink and they had it fixed within an hour. Great choice if you want to stay in Lexington.
Was at a lunch with business colleagues in the lobby restraunt. My soup and salad both came out incorrectly. To be fair everyone elses meal was accurate. Food was tasty and we didn't have a wait to get in.
