Great location in downtown Greenville. many good restaurants and shops are walkable. When you are walking down Main St make sure you look for the bronze mice that are hidden. Google mice on main for hints.

Many options to choose from downtown Greenville, but in hindsight so glad we booked with Hyatt. Options to choose from include Aloft, Hampton Inn and others--all similar price and amenities, but the Hyatt adds that extra touch. They just go a little above and beyond to make the experience special and personal. With so many to choose from, would highly recommend Hyatt.

Our experience at this hotel was beyond disappointing. As a parent, I only get rare opportunities to have a night away from my child. This was one of those nights and was absolutely ruined by this hotel. We arrived at check-in at 3pm and had to wait over 3 hours for our room. We were constantly told it would only be 45 min or 1 hour, therefore, we waited. We should ve been told it would be hours so that we could leave and go have some fun. Once we got into our room, the issues continued. We had a sink that was stopped up and took forever to drain, a toilet that had the exact same issues, and limited warm water for showers. The hotel comped our night stay, however, it meant nothing to me after the trip was already ruined. If you are a parent and its your one opportunity to have some fun without your kids- you may want to consider staying somewhere else just to be safe and not ruin your day too.

The hotel is located downtown. It is walking distance from many restaurants and shops. If you want to be downtown, then the location is perfect. The rooms are large, very clean, and modern. The lobby is inviting with lots of seating areas and a bar. The hotel has a Starbucks and restaurant as well. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.

The hotel is lovely and well-appointed and well-kept, but our room (354) is inward facing, looking directly into the large atrium at the center of the hotel. This means the natural daylight is rather filtered, and a bit disorienting. Additionally, from the bed, I can see people queuing up for the elevator on multiple floors, and I am quite certain they can see me in the room as well. I could close the heavy curtain, which would then make the room quite dark. I will say that the lighting fixtures in the room are very modern and lovely, but it's odd to have this inward facing room. I do appreciate the refrigerator in the room, which is a very nice touch.

NIce rooms, in a great spot (downtiwn Greenville). However, recently had a bad service interaction with their front staff (staff was chatting with each other while ignoring my resist for service). Posted the instance on YouTube and their Facebook page.

Had someone listed on the reservation check in for me but didn't couldn't charge my card even though it was on the reservation. Seemed more difficult than it needed to be. Room was okay with it not having a mini fridge.

We recently had the opportunity to meet here at the Hyatt Regency Greenville with our church. We'd previously met at this hotel a few years ago as well. It hasn't changed much in that time, and really, that's a good thing. I do understand from others that stayed there that the rooms have been recently renovated. Unfortunately, we didn't stay on site due to the large size of our family and the available room types at the hotel. Accordingly, we don't know much about the guest rooms. However, the meeting rooms that we used were nice and spacious, and pleasantly decorated. We also had several meals provided for our group, and they were flavorful. The lobby area provides a spacious atmosphere, and includes a restaurant (on the second floor), as well as a Starbucks and a bar area. Parking is simple, as the hotel is adjacent to a public parking garage, and while we did park there, we found it was easier to park at the hotel using the valet. It was a reasonable cost ($10, though it goes up for overnight and daily), and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is rather convenient to the downtown area, and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. This was great for the meeting. However, in general, we prefer hotels away from the city center, when staying as overnight guests. It tends to be quieter that way. If, however, downtown is your thing, this hotel is perfectly placed. All in all, we enjoyed the experience, and I can certainly see doing it again in the future.

The room is very spacious and clean. They really pay attention to customer service including responding to posts on social media. My only suggestion is that they add a couple of outlets to the room.

EVS needs a big adjustment! The lobby is absolutely filthy, not an understatement. Such a shame. Bar staff was, as always, less than friendly and shorted my drink. Par here. Trees this year are fewer... Miss the days of a full lobby of beautiful trees. The trees this year are beautiful. The school trees were the best this year! Awesome job kiddos!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! Rachel was so helpful from pre check-in to checkout. I was in town celebrating my bachelorette trip and she put us in a room on the top floor with a gorgeous atrium view. I spilled water on my bed and needed new sheets, they were delivered and put on my bed within 20 minutes. Margaret was so nice and we really enjoyed talking with her! I normally dread having to deal with hospitality staff because they normally aren t nice, but everyone we encountered here went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful! I will absolutely be back and I will recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Greenville!

Worst experience at a hotel to date ! This was a planned getaway for our anniversary not only was our room not ready they had no idea how long it would be until it was ready . The lobby was full of people also waiting LOTS of people ! The guy next to me said he had left hours before & came back bc he never received the call his room was ready . We finally gave up bc our DINNER reservations were only a few minutes away . I understand there was a convention in town but our trip was booked in advance so no reason it should take hours to get our room ready . There were at least 20 people waiting around for their rooms also . Luckily my husband found another place with availability & our anniversary wasn t ruined . I have never left a bad review in my life but this was warranted. For such a high end hotel the customer service needs serious work .

We made reservations months in advance to ensure we could have two rooms beside one another. After one hour past check in time the rooms were located on separate floors! For the money I would expect the room to be ready on time. The accommodation were okay.

Great location. Some rooms have better views than others. Just need to ask for a room with a great view of the Greenville skyline. Room service is pretty good. My wife asked the front desk for a makeup kit and they delivered it to the wrong room. Had to call the front desk for them to bring us another and it came up very quickly. They also offer a small gym. It has a good selection of equipment to use.

I'm pretty disappointed. The lobby, restaurant, and entrance look great. Clean and friendly.
However, I'm so disappointed in my room. It obviously has not had a good cleaning in a while. Generally dusty, floors need to be cleaned, my remote in the sanitation sleeve was dirty (like food on the remote), there was a bandaid stuck to the wall of the shower, bathroom wall had dirty handprints, and the hallway to my room, along with the foyer from the elevators, was dirty with trash on the floor.

Rooms are OK nothing to write home about but if you can get a room for one of their discounted rates it's a great place

A very persistent individual tried taking me into a room last night. Clearly, I had said no a multitude of times, but to no avail. Imperceptive towards my displeasure, he had become boisterous and incessant. Weary and desperate for escape I had slipped off into the bathroom. My phone died and my friend had been separated from me. As I timidly emerged from the bathroom, I hobbled to the front desk to ask if I could use the phone. The night desk manager who's name escapes me was kind enough to let me try to get in contact with her and when that failed he called me a cab. While awaiting my vehicle he kept me out of view from the heathen and offered me a bottled water. Security service tried to escort him off the premises but, he was perseverant. Finally, my cab had arrived and I was lead out the back door to prevent crossing paths with the now probably very agitated individual. Safe in the cab, I had begun my voyage home. Hyatt's night staff went above and beyond in helping me avoid a potentially very bad situation so big thank you to the manager, security and the other guy. Y'all were great company to be around until my cab came, who was also great company. Had it not been for their kindness I might've had a more tragic story.

Its ok

Came to Hyatt for a conference. Disappointed that the stairs were for emergency exit only, I'm a little claustrophobic and elevators were crowded with conference attendees. Also had a reservation for 3 people sharing a hotel room (3 adults) and had to call front desk for extra towels (there were only 2 in the room), extra coffee cups, extra glasses... the room was clearly set for only 2 people, despite the reservation being made for 3 (and being charged extra for a 3rd person). I left a note for housekeeping to please leave at least 3 of each of these items; however, after coming back to room after lunch, noticed that only 2 of everything was left - so we had to bother the front desk again. Was also disappointed in the lack of breakfast included in room rate, as all previous conference hotels offered at least a continental breakfast. We also had an interior room, looking over the enclosed mezzanine area and our room was warm and humid despite the temperature being set at 66 degrees, the temperature never made it below 70. If the conference is held at this location in the future, I may find an alternative but walkable place to stay.

Update: finally received refund of a charge for a night I did not authorize. Hyatt staff was accommodating with service while I was there, but it took many, many hours in order to get the refund. The hotel staff and especially manager would not return calls and when finally reavhed the manager was condescending and snarky. I had to open a ticket with hyatt corporate service. What should have been a very simple mistake on the Greenville hyatt regency staff should have been easily corrected with minimal stress and time. BUT IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!! I am completely disappointed in the local manager Lindsay that would not call me back after numerous attempts. She ruined the hyatt experience for me. I'm so glad I made the decision to bypass her uncaring "too busy" attitude. I liked the physical hotel, but what could have been a simple mistake to fix should have been easily fixed in real time, not the painstaking ordeal that ruined the hyatt experience for me. Updated from 1star to 2star because I finally noticed a credit on my card, but they still didn't email or call as they promised.

Very pleased with the hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the staff have been incredibly helpful. The conference rooms seem a little dated and my room is a little in the small side; other than that it has been a fantastic stay.
