Hyatt Regency Greenville Review

This place is beautiful! There is so much here to attract and please the eye! If you're having a convention or business meeting you can't beat the banquet facilities here at the Hyatt Regency! Food for the Main Kitchen is felt as well as from the roost restaurant is excellent barring none! The service staff in my opinion is the best in Greenville and can compete anywhere in the region! And this place is very involved in community activities is supporting the growth of the downtown region

Gorgeous facility in the heart of downtown Greenville.

I only ate at The Roost for a school event, but the service and atmosphere were very nice for such a function. It was refined and felt upscale, without being "stuffy." The food was delicious and the service was quite friendly. The service did take a while, but for a larger party (15), that's to be expected. The food was worth the wait, though! The menu presented a nice variety, for both richer tastes and not. I would definitely keep this space in mind for other events.

Bad service......we had to wait 2 hours and the room was not ready !!! I Will be here by 2 weeks i hope my think can change .

I attended a photo shoot in the lobby and surrounding areas, the staff was accommodating and were a pleasure to be around. I would recommend this hotel.

Incredibly friendly staff compliment a conveniently located hotel. The only real quibble is that the rooms were somewhat dated by today's standards lacking things like a safe and refrigerator.

It was just the 2nd day out of our 5 nights stay.with this hotel. But the experience was not so good. While we checked in, we were told our reservation for 2 double bed room was sold out (excuse me, we booked 2 and half month ago), only one king bed room was available. They only could do was to put a roller bed beside the king size bed. The front desk did not care at all for our booking for 2-double bed. Just take it or not.

I did not know it became so packed after the roller bed was moved in. The worst was the bathroom. There has no counter top to put your accessories, but only one small piece glass shelf. So me and my kid put some on the "tiny cutie" glass shelf, and some on the top of the toilet.

Even worse, was there was no any space or hanger to put the hair dryer, so we left the hair dryer on the floor. Can you believe? It is the bathroom of so-called 4-star hotel.

We paid higher price to get 2-double bed than one king-bed room, then was told "sold-out" and it was not guaranteed. It was 8:00 pm evening. So would you take it or not?......

We still have 3 more nights to go till my kid finish the USA National Karate tournament. Hoping he would have good sleeping.

If I would post the pictures of the room and the bathroom, you would find how it looks like.

It is nice to see that one of Greenville's first "fancy" hotels is still a lovely place. This is such a beautiful hotel! When you check in the employees are friendly and welcoming. The room is spotless. It is remodeled and very modern. It is roomy, comfortable, and clean. It has the largest tv I have ever seen in a hotel room. The location is convenient to anything in the downtown area. Even the West End and the Liberty bridge are only a short hike. It is great for business or for the weekend!

Outside was very clean and neat. Looked absolutely stunning and was in a fantastic spot right next to DT greenville. Fridays are very fun out there with all kinds of food, drinks and festivities

It was a decent place for an overnight stay. It's location within Greenville is a positive.

Great apppitizer, nice space to have a drink do some work and pass the time.

Hotel was nice beautifully decorated and the location was great lots of nice shops in walking distance

Great location. Nice staff. Cool Lobby. However both times we checked out there's something on our bill that wasn't ours and we have to call to get it taken off.

They have really clean Coors draft beer lines in their bar.

If you hadn't been to the Hyatt since its renovation in the last 3 years you have missed a great opportunity. Very modern up to date and new colors. The convention space bar and the roost restaurant have all been improved. Thursday night and Friday Night Live music on Main Street Greenville add to the flavor of this part of downtown. Valet parking adds to the convenience.

Fantastic rooms with easy access to fun, food, and exercise

Great location within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants..Staff have always been friendly.

The walls were apparently quite paper thin. My neighbor sounded as if he were in my room.... The tub/shower wasn't clean. I found a used band aid in my shower... Lots of hair that was not mine. Otherwise, the environment was alive, much activity and the action of Greenville was steps away.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are very luxurious.

The fitness room is the best I have seen in my travels. Free weights, treadmills, bikes, weight balls ect. and ample room to use it.

You are greeted with a smile and helpful hand.

This hotel makes it easier to be away from home.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff here is amazing, there is nothing I have asked for that i haven't got. From valet to manager you are treated with great respect. I would recommend this place to anyone and you're in the center of all types of restaurants and stores thanks for a great stay I will be back

This hotel is amazing. It has all the amenities of a resort, plus a Starbucks and a restaurant in the lobby.

I can say that the staff was very helpful. I can't say that the room was definitely under par. Our bathroom had only one light that worked. When we called maintenance they said they were sorry, but no light bulbs were available. The furniture in the room was marked badly. Some of our friends were placed on the 8th floor and those were very nice rooms. Just make sure you get a newer room when you book this hotel is in transition/renovation and apparently my wife is supposed to be able to get ready with every light on and cell phone light to get ready for a night out.

Great hotel, near the shops, the mall and places to eat, quick drive to downtown, 10 minutes

The lobby is gorgeous. My room on the 7th floor wasn't clean enough for the $200.00 I spent. However, it served it's purpose. 3 stars

My new husband and I stayed here on our mini honeymoon. We were so disappointed by the hotel.

The main entrance is lovely and newly renovated. But our room was terrible. My husband had chosen the room that was supposed to have a beautiful view into downtown : the panoramic view. When we arrived our bathroom was not cleaned, the view was nothing like the pictures, and the room was not renovated. It felt dirty and old. Also he was disappointed because they had told him they would have something special in the room to celebrate our honeymoon and the only special thing was the toilet was unflushed and not clean. We were so exhausted but went downstairs to see what they could do about our room, and they only offered to send up a bottle of champagne.

I emailed the hotel immediately the week we got back and never heard back. We love Greenville, it is where we got engaged and we are so sad that we chose to stay at the Hyatt for our mini honeymoon.

We stayed just one night for the SCAHACC conference, wish it could have been longer.....the service was outstanding, super friendly staff, everyone I encountered was great! What great hotel, staff, and location!

We stayed there because we wanted to be close to an event we were attending. Valet parking a plus. Great customer service and a Beautiful facility.

I have been at many Hyatt regency but this is one of the best when it comes to service.

Customer service is fantastic and the front desk is very helpful. Coming from Alabama it's nice to see hospitality further out. Will come again if out this way. Also WiFi is free and fantastic.
