Nice, clean hotel in the heart of downtown Greenville. Walking distance from everything you could want.

Nice property, full service hotel. Fantastic location and free parking. If you are visiting Greenville this is a great spot to stay. Somewhat pricy, but a great, great, GREAT location.

Heater didn't work, freezing cold for three nights.

Bed was uncomfortable. Phone in room didn t work. Thermostat doesn t go below 70. They would not give a late check out. Lobby was dirty at 7:30am. Not worth the money.

Response to Brian: The shower had dried, bright blue, soap not only on the shower tile but also on the shower curtain & it was obvious that it had been there for a while. For any room above $250 for a single night, I don't think it's too much to ask for the room to be clean. I told staff at the Hyatt about this & all I got was an apology. Y'all still charged me full price to sleep in a dirty room. Next time I'll spend a little more to stay in a clean hotel.

We booked our room through priceline knowing that we wanted the downtown experience and we got it! The hotel is lovely on the inside and the rooms are a great value. We'd gladly stay here again if the price is right.

One of the nicest hotels we ve stayed in lately. Located right on the main walking street in Downtown Greenville, the Hyatt Regency is grand! Large atrium with plenty of nice seating and windows from outside as well as rooms. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out to provide mild separation from the room door and bathroom. Massive wall mounted tv that swings out and chase lounge are a very nice touch. Over all everything in the room is great including the bathroom amenities. The only negative would be he extremely low shower head and older bathroom that pushes you close to the ceiling and the wear in the hallway on floor 4 was beginning to show a little. Highly recommend staying here especially if you get a Priceline Express bid. Take time to go out the back entrance and walk the main downtown Greenville tree covered street and hop into the little shops along the way including our favorite Methodical Coffee!

Great place to stay, right in the heart of downtown Greenville. Convenient parking garage. Most things downtown you'll want to walk to, weather and location considering.
Outdoor patio and pool.

I come to Greenville every year for an annual conference and intentionally aim for this hotel each time. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and make for a nice home away from home when on the road for business

Hot water takes forever. My rooms shower ceiling was so low any taller person would not have fit.

We love the Orb bar, prices are good for a hotel bar and the staff is always friendly!

Fantastic location. All interactions with staff were great. Our room was ok. The beds were incredibly firm with overstuffed pillows, which some may like, but I barely got any sleep as a result. The heating and air in our room didn't do much of anything to change the temperature. Once we adjusted the thermostat (sometimes 4-5 degrees) , it would kick on for about 15 seconds and then shut off again. The walls are thin and we could also hear just about everything in the hallway and the adjacent rooms. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Personally, I might try somewhere else if I come to Greenville again.

The Hyatt has an awesome area where businesses can entertain their employees. The food is of best quality and quantity. The service is top! Five star!

I have been traveling to Greenville on business and usually stay here. The service is good but the quality of the rooms is going downhill. Most are in need of a refresh.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but the restaurant, the roost, was nice. We were there for Christmas.

The atrium is gorgeous. I like that the rooms have hardwood floors vs the usual carpeting. The gym is pretty small though

I was there recently for a Pediatric Trauma and Injury Prevention symposium. Very nice facilities, very clean, and well organized. Everyone from the hotel was very friendly, and helpful. Based on my experience there for the day, I would not hesitate to stay there for the night.

This was my second time attending the Urban League Gala at the Hyatt Regency and it was amazing. The event was well organized and beautiful as well as the hotel. Although I have yet to stay overnight at the Hyatt, I would rate this hotel as one of Greenville's top 5 best place to stay. The wait and service staff were polite. The ambiance is gorgeous especially at night and parking was easy. It doesn't hurt that the location is right dab in the middle of downtown. They also have an amazing restaurant nextdoor and plenty of places to shop.

Absolutely terrible experience. Stayed on the 8th floor due to reviews saying this was the most recent renovations only to find that our A/C was broken. Requested the next morning to have a technician come and check it out. Came back to find out that no one showed up for over 8 hours. Touched base with the front desk and wasn't even offered to move rooms but only a box fan and $100 off of our stay. Looking at our bank account we found that they charged us twice. The front desk assured me that it was only on our end and their system showed only 1 pending charge. Come to find out sure enough I was charged twice. We called a couple hours ago and they tried to convince us that we had 2 reservations. After they looked into their faulty system they finally admitted that they were wrong.We are now looking to get the second charge removed and a full refund for the first stay.

Terrible service, they will not accommodate you what so ever. What a shame for such a nice looking hotel.

Wonderful staff, good food and excellent atmosphere. I took away a star because there is still a lack of receptacles and or USB charging ports in the rooms.

Hyatt hosts the Red Cross Event each year to raise money for the Red Cross. I've gone 5 years now. Beautiful event. Hyatt is top of the line in every way! Rooms, super clean. Service, spot on. Location, the best downtown Greenville, SC has to offer. And that's A lot! Staff is always ready to help and efficient. Well done this year as well. Thanks Hyatt Regency for holding this event in such high standards!

Been here place and loved it both times. Goid vallet service, room service and even nicer rooms. Never disappointed with this place.

We attended in order to take pictures of our daughter and friends on prom night. The atmosphere in the lobby is beautiful. The people working at the front desk were very nice and accomodating.

Everything was nice except for breakfast. They served no meat.

The hotel is very nice and clean with courteous employees. I know this is small but at check out we were hit with a $7.50 fee for parking in their garage....? Seriously rubbed me the wrong way. I am paying good money to stay here and you charge me to park at your facility?

Good hotel in downtown Greenville has a good bar and the decor is good

I just have to thank Martha, Walt, Trent at PSAV and the entire crew who made a 1.5 day team building run so smoothly. They were attentive and available both before and during the event and the team had a great time! We would definitely book with them again!

We attended the Teddy Bear Luncheon which fell during the Festival of Trees. It was simply gorgeous with 84 trees scattered throughout the large lobby. Well worth going to enjoy the beautiful decorations!

I guess we got charged $200 for a night small room with a king-sized bed mostly because of the convenient location to the shops downtown, because the room we stayed at was a bit below average to be honest. The lobby area and the outside of the Hyatt are beautiful, so I was expecting our room to be equally amazing, but it was SO small. The bathroom was extremely tiny. The paintings, walls, and furniture was an extremely drab brown theme that looked like it hadn't been updated since the 90s. On the plus side, the room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. That was about it. What kind of blew me away was that for $200 a night the room didn't even have a fridge?? I've been a housekeeper for several years at a place that only charged $60-80 a night and every room at least had a small fridge. And another little thing that bothered me was that the bed wasn't facing the TV... The only way you could really watch it was to sit on the small chair that was beside the desk. And wow, the pool area....that was kinda sad looking. Very, very small pool. The exercise room had a lot of nice equipment in it, at least. So in short...very simple, average room. Too expensive. Nice location though.

Awesome hotel. Upscale and clean rooms. Quiet upstairs but bustling downstairs. Bar in middle of lobby, restaurant is awesome & full service starbucks located inside. Cook to order breakfast options. Absolutely wonderful experience

Very nice hotel, but the night we stayed was pretty loud with people partying. The accommodations were nice though not very sound proof!

Great place to stay downtown. Close to everything.

The staff was absolutely amazing! They could have done away with the elaborate lobby and had mini refrigerator in the rooms. Also as expensive as the hotel was there should be an indoor pool.

Unfortunately I am giving this rating because the phone in our room is not working to call the front desk and make a noise complaint. It is after midnight and we can hear every conversation going on, ice machine and vending machine visit in the hallway (room is directly in front of the elevator). Walls are so thin that we can hear the alarm of the person next to our room in the morning, we honestly thought it was our alarm! Be aware if you are looking for a sound night of sleep.

Ate at The Roost Restaurant. Excellent Christmas Buffet. We didn't partake in all of the variety because we try to stay as close to vegan as possible. Collards were great even though they were seasoned with pork. Great green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe dish, carrots with plenty of butter, and great deserts. If we didn't stick to veggies, there appeared to be plenty of beef, poultry and fish to choose. There were lots of unhealthy people eating good tasting unhealthy food. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Great place to stay. This is the default hotel if you're in town to visit the performance driving school. Good conference accommodations.

Really falling apart, even by aging Hyatt Regency standards.

They blast music in the atrium lobby at random times, and you ll hear it in your room anytime between 7am and 11pm. What a nice way to start and end your day.

And if you want to access the internet, better bring your phone. The WiFi here is glacially slow, even at times when they re not having an event.

And while you re bringing your phone, don t forget to download a language-translation app, so when the housekeeper bangs on your door at 3pm and urgently barks at you in Spanish, you ll understand what she wants. Is the building on fire? Did you just win the lottery? If you spoke the same language, you d find out why she s so agitated.
