Nothing wrong with the hotel and a great location. We enjoyed our stay very much.
I attended a wedding reception at Studio 220. It was fantastic. The staff was very helpful coordinating guest and the studio was beautiful.
It s a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities right on site and I ll likely stay again because of its proximity to everything but staying at a Hyatt Regency comes with some expectations. You expect that your bathroom door would shut properly and easily. Both nights that I stayed in the room the door did not close properly. It might have been off it d roller, but it was difficult to move. You expect your shower to drain adequately. Both nights I stayed when I showered I ended up standing in water up to the tops of my ankles. And you expect that at 3 pm your room will be ready - and after a long day of traveling I arrived only to be told my room was not ready and I needed to wait another 30 minutes and when I checked in the room I was supposed to get was still not checked over for their standards but this room was. I don t know how but missing a broken door and a shower that didn t drain didn t seem like checking for standards. Otherwise, I quite liked the room and location and the restaurant on the 2nd floor.
clean. organized. friendly. & helpful. the place is gorgeous. the breakfast is good and the front desk is very helpful and provide many items if you forget anything. the gym is also very neat and fun to use. the treadmills have screens where you can watch youtube videos, netflix, hulu, etc. and they provide complimentary headphones. indoor poor. and super great staff and very clean room. i say this knowing that most hotels are very disgusting and not clean. this one was only $100 per night for us with two beds and one bathroom. breakfast was nice and fulfilling as well. probably the best part of our whole trip to greenville. greenville sc is lame but the hotel was probably the best part lol
The hotel lobby is amazingly well clean and beautiful. The views from the rooms are offices so make sure you close the blinds so others don t see you. The room itself was spacious was not very clean. There was no hand soap or shampoo offered. Due to COVID-19 I feel hand soap is a must but apparently they don t think it s a necessity. Make sure you take your own soap.
Nice atrium, good location, generally clean, friendly staff, frequent city events, and convenient parking.
The Christmas trees were beautifully displayed, and the space was easy to navigate.
I visited here for a conference. The meeting rooms are nice, spacious, cool, and clean. The staff seems nice. The location is probably the best part of this place, in the heart of downtown.
I spent $200 to stay the night so that I didn't have to waste time in the morning trying to get to my 5:00am makeup/hair booking in the same hotel.
I was at the front desk for well over an hour waiting for them to find my reservation. The whole point was to get a good night's rest before work. Waste of time and money.
When I finally got a room, the manager tried to push all the blame on Expedia. He was very defensive and stormed off when I tried to tell him that after waiting over an hour calmly, I really didn't want the blame game. He stormed off and it made me so upset that I cried.
To be fair, the young lady who tried to find a resolution was very attentive and sympathetic. I appreciated that.
This was our worst hotel experience ever and then it was made even worse by Rachel Amudson. I treated my wife and 4 and a half month old baby to a short get away. We were unable to get any peace and quiet until 1:30am as all the military folks staying on our floor were drunk and swearing, laughing and hanging in the hallways talking super loud. Then at 3:00 am construction starts right outside our window and did not stop loud machines beeping, sounds similar to that of metal dumpsters being dropped etc.... absolutely no sleep poor baby did not get any rest either what a nightmare. Then we go to check out and see over $40 in fees for valet parking which is fine if you are told about it. When we pulled up to the hotel we were approached and told there was no self parking which was a big lie and the price sheet for valet parking was conveniently placed on side of podium where there was no way to see it. We tipped the guy and never used the car once. Also our hotel pack was said to include all taxes etc... also not true. I explained all of our problems to Rachel and her response was that s the way it goes sometimes!!!!!!! Never ever will my company or myself return absolutely unbelievable.
Came to see the Christmas trees with my daughter's k4 class and it was awesome!! My daughter loved all of the different trees!!
Great location. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Although I had to buy on line to get a better price for the room instead of at the counter.
Food at Roost was great! Shower in our room had mildew...
This hotel has a lot of good. The layout is nice with a large spacious lobby with a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Extremely impressed with whichever rigging company set that up. The center bar is circular with booths all around and televisions to watch The Game. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are decent. They also have a workout room with nice equipment and complimentary earbuds.
All that is good and I would probably stay here again, but there are areas for improvement. The in-room televisions are huge but have only basic cable. No movies and it won t even allow access to a TV guide. None of the soda vending machines were working and the store selection was slim and overpriced.
Went to roost for brunch, wow food was great! Full breakfast, plus deviled eggs, shrimp, country cooking, fresh ham and prime rib station. Desserts just a great meal.
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Really inviting and modern hotel. It is right in the heart of downtown Greenville.
Don't be fooled by the modern atrium. The building and the rooms are quite old. The rooms facing east are very loud: the parking garage ventilation is noisy and very close. The central location is great, though, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom in the lobby was clean. I really enjoyed the Christmas tree displays!
Very nice hotel, great staff, very clean and crisp accommodations.
I really liked the environment but the drinks were a bit pricey. Tvs were awesome. Got to watch the draft.
Perhaps the best lodging in the area. The recent renovations have completely transformed the entire look and feel of this hotel.
Wonderful experience here! Everyone was so friendly and professional, especially the general manager Jasmine.
Lovely staff, beautiful rooms (do the panorama suite upgrade!), and the Roost restaurant that's attached is super yummy! Also, they have a great bar that stays open late with a late night food menu. Location is awesome but really the staff are what make this hotel special!
Beautiful lobby, rooms are being updated, fantastic location, and friendly staff. Great place to stay.
The room was very clean and the bathroom was modern. The staff was extremely helpfuland friendly. My husband was attending a conference here. The hotel is in an amazing location downtown too. There is a full Starbucks inside of the hotel as well.
The presentation room was very spacious and accommodating. Food and coffee was on point. Even the staff had excellent attitudes and were more than happy to help work what was needed.
The lobby and hotel itself is beautiful. I loved the water feature as well as the bar and all the other amenities the hotel had to offer. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
After a fun night downtown we stopped in for some drinks at the bar here and received attentive and fast service.
The Hyatt Regency in Greenville S.C. is the most pleasant and comfortable Hotel I ever stayed it. It's location in the downtown area was so convenient for my activities in the area. The have the greatest staff ever and the service they provided gets five stars from me. Awesome stay ever. Thanks for the experience. I will never forget it!
Fantastic new rooms love the lighting next to bed when you get up in the middle of the night. Food at Roost fantastic. The staff awesome from driver that picked me at airport, front desk, and servers especially breakfast time. Highly recommend for business or pleasure downtown Greenville and Hyatt awesome.
Nice hotel, but I left a nice toiletry kit in the room, and instead of just finding it, they directed me to an impersonal lost and found solution. It's a day later, and I still haven't heard anything. Guys: this isn't hard!
I wouldn't call it luxury, only an average nice hotel. King room comfortable bed and chase but the bathroom was way to small. Could only get one person at a time in the bathroom. A rude bell hop would not give us a luggage cart or take our bags unless we valet parked.
Great staff, super clean building with great places to hang out.
Nice room, great location downtown, friendly and helpful staff.
I visited for a professional event. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly.
This is the place to stay when coming to Greenville. You're in the heart of downtown!
Visited a friend who was in town. Was greeted promptly and very friendly. Inside was clean.
We come to this hotel every time we have a team debrief meeting. I really like this hotel and it's right by a lot of bars... all within walking distance.
I was not a guest, just had to stop in for a work related matter. I've never been in the hotel before and I was just amazed. It is absolutely beautiful. Seemed very high class, probably something I could never afford to stay in. The staff was nice and helpful. It was very clean. I'd definitely recommend it to someone even though I never stayed myself.
Dog friendly and let us eat breakfast on the patio with our pup.
Clean rooms and very nice staff. Wet bar in the lobby for social gatherings. Great location downtown, close to anything you'd want to get to.
Great stay great staff only thing I hated was the parking
Super nice and clean. Very elegant! Highly recommend!
Elegant, peaceful enviroment, and the place looked fantastic
Last visit was 2nd week in December. Lots of Christmas decorations and a festival of trees. Very enjoyable.
Great Location. Very nice lobby, plenty of sitting for relaxing with the nice sound from the waterfall. Fun being on main st. Friendly staff.
I am so dissatisfied after spending $200 for ONE NIGHT to take my 11 year old grandson on a trip during Spring break and then to learn there is no indoor pool or Jacuzzi and you can not even rent a movie...VERY disappointing!! Next time we will do a stay- cation!!
And what it costs to park could have bought us both a nice dinner!!
I hate to leave a bad review, we have stayed at several hotels over the last couple months while we get some remodeling done. Have stayed at high end as well as not. I have to say to be considered a highly rated hotel, we didnt find anything to really be pleased about here. We arrived at our room rather late to find out it wasn't the right one. We had our 2 teen daughters with us, and only one bed. We called immediately to notify the front desk, and told that there were no rooms available they could send a roll-a-way bed, and if our children were small enough it should work. Ok did I mention they were teens! When the bed arrived at our room it was accompanied by a fellow who was for all intents and purposes considered a "security card" (he had already fussed at my girls as we were arriving) he went to place the bed linens on the bed and tripped over something in the floor. I quickly appologized to which he responded with a huff and a strained sarcastic "have a nice night" wow! Well actually Mister security card we arent having a nice night, we are paying a pretty high price to stay in a room we didnt request and now you are rude on top of it all! We have cranky sleepy teenagers. We are the type of people who work hard and appreciate great customer service and work ethic. Now that's the bad, there was some positive. We called to notify the desk the bed situation wasn't going to work, the young lady was very appologetic and moved our rooms, she appologized and was very understanding. The next day we overslept and were not bothered, I called the front desk and was relieved to speak with Brittany who told me it was fine. She was awesome. So, it was bittersweet. Have to take the good with bad and roll with the punches. Also rooms were tiny!!! Fridge wasn't cooling yet the TV was fantastic.
Ate at Roost. Food not great but excellent service. Pricey.
The Hyatt is easily accessible and conveniently located in downtown Greenville. There is a high quality bar in the lobby and the hotel features multiple event spaces. Roost, the attached restaurant, is an excellent dining option with an amazing brunch. I've always enjoyed visiting the hotel when I've had the pleasure to do so.
The rooms were huge! The staff was all very friendly and man named Q walked around with a cookie tray to greet my band as we came downstairs to head to dinner. He was very polite and gave some suggestions of good food places. Overall a beautiful city and hotel, really enjoyed myself.
They have a wonderful bar. Friendly staff and wonderful scenery.
We were there for the March Of Dimes event. Great service and amazing food.
Nice room, refrigerator didn't seem cold enough, shower head short, toilet flushed too show (handle hit the top of the lid)
