Staying here for a convention. Location is great and close to a lot of things. A bit pricey, but I figured that's norm for around here plus the name brand. You have to pay for parking, which I will always disagree with, but you can't change that. I haven't tried the in-house restaurants say can't say much about that. Depending on what room you get, the view is nice of the mountains

Communication is not a strong point. Was locked out of my room due to the desk not following through with combining our reservations. No notice of valet parking fees on anything in writing, found out by my credit card notification. 14 dollars for a small breakfast burrito 6 dollars for a 6 oz sour smoothie with a separate room service charge also not written anywhere. Just be up front. Would have been better.

So excited to enjoy this 4 star hotel, though I have to agree with other reviews about rude valet attendants, (no, we aren't holding this for you) overselling parking spaces, (prepaid guests who reserved a spot at the hotel still had to park anywhere else they could find downtown, not easy to walk and with luggage) and to boot, we have no running water in the shower, only the sink. The toiletries were the same brand as in my last 3 star hotel, Holiday Inn Express here in Denver. It's almost 1am, we are back from a baseball game and dinner, and wanted to shower before bed. Instead, we are waiting for someone to come take a look at plumbing. Seriously, not a 4 star hotel, and disappointing for a city date night. Maintenance arrives, super nice man, says he has been here 13 years and never seen anything like this. I asked the front desk clerk for a different room instead of sitting here watching attempted repairs and he said they are sold out. I then asked can we just be refunded and he laughed and asked if I wanted to talk to a manager, so I laughed and said yes. Impressive. The front desk manager offered in house food credits and incidentals, like free breakfast and bottled room water? Really, that's all that can be done? With no shower and we are up until who knows what time, that is not even close to making up for this. Adding more hassle is the fact he has to contact our booking company to see how to credit us because he can't do it in house. Budget hotels have been better than this. I'm totally suprised and sad at the lack of ability here. We are opting to just drive 2 hours home and odds are likely we will be out what we prepaid. Update: We waited 20 more minutes for now two nice men to work on the shower and decided to just drive home. Upon checking out at the front desk we are told by a different guest service person that there IS a room we can move to because someone hadn't shown up for their reservation. Wow. I guess if they do show up, they get to bunk with the repair men in our old room and I hope the shower is repaired. I just appreciated him helping us, unlike the first person to whom I spoke. The manager I spoke to on the phone was also there, though he was the security manager and not the front desk manager. He explained that's why he couldn't refund or credit us past some incidentals. He's the only manager on duty so he covers front desk but isnt able to do much. Very nice person as well, but there should be a qualified person on site for a large sold-out "4-star" hotel to manage guest issues. He would have the front desk manager call us tomorrow for resolution. What a hassle for just wanting a shower and some sleep.
Both people were very nice in person, but it is clear as a guest, you aren't covered with proper capable staff. They are running at bare minimum during a sold-out holiday weekend and are winging it at your incovenience. At any rate, by 2am we had a different room, and enjoyed hearing a couple fight across the hall until 2:30am when the argument moved to the hallway and the man slammed out of there through the stairwell door. Quality all around. Upon waking this morning, our coffee pot doesn't work in the outlet in the bathroom. That one is dead, so forget using the hairdryer in there, but at least we can unplug the alarm clock and use that outlet. I can hardly wait to check out and see what mess we get to deal with. Just look around before booking here, do not trust that your room nor your parking spot will be held. The facade is definitely starting to crack and it isn't worth the money or your time. Even the 4 star reviews mention room problems....

Didnt actually stay at this hotel but we tried to check in at this one and the people were assume there in helping us even tried to get our room moved over to there hotel... We booked through a 3rd party so it was not an option but it was the thought that counted... Parking is pretty expensive though.. Luckily they gave us a key to get out without paying again.

Fabulous hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights - the rooms are large and clean, the pool and hot tub are wonderful, and the fitness center is spacious and well kept. Darbie at the front desk and Adrian in the Regency Club are phenomenal people who are 100% committed to making the experience wonderful all around for the guests. Room service is prompt and the food is really good.

Had a great first few days. My credit card got locked because I m out of town and apparently the hotel has been trying to charge my card like crazy rather than letting me sort it out first. (Afterall, I prepaid for my entire stay, so we are just talking about minor incidentals, right?) wrong. Turns out, the sign they have in the lobby advertising 5 days or more parking for $35 as if it s some type of bargain is actually for $35 a day. What person in their right mind would pay $35 a day for parking at a hotel that they ve already paid almost $1000 to stay at as is?? I m completely turned off by this, don t waste you re time with the Hyatt Regency Denver, go to a nicer hotel where they charge a little more per night but don t shake you down for $35 a night parking. Unbelievable.

Location was great to get to. I was contacted prior to arriving, welcoming me for my stay. I replied to make a change to my reservation, and it was taken care of seamlessly. I was here for a conference and the meeting spaces are top notch as well.

Was in Denver for a conference and visited the Hyatt regency for a vendor lunch symposium. Very nice hotel, centrally located downtown directly across the street from the convention center.

Do NOT stay here. They charged us a $350 smoking fee and we did NOT smoke in the room, (I guess because our window was open?). We still have not been reimbursed for this charge from June '17 and unless my bank can resolve the issue, we will never be. I also got a facial at their spa - WAY overpriced for a less than impressive spa environment. I will never stay at a HYATT again after all of this.

Very reasonably priced and a fantastic downtown location. We loved being within walking distance of most of the things that we wanted to do.

Our room was very clean and the hotel staff were great to work with. The only minor frustration we had was with parking. They overbooked the garage so we had to circle around multiple times before being able to park. That was it though...everything else was great!

It's a beautiful hotel with great views, nice pool and outside hot tub.
We enjoyed the 27th for a drink and appetizers. We would have liked to have that information, about the 27th floor but we found out from the hotel next door!! We also had to ask a ton of questions about where to get the towels for the pool etc... We found out too late that we could have gotten a robe for the hot tub. Hence the 4 stars.
But we did have a nice time and the location was perfect!!

If you're looking to go to Peaks lounge call ahead to be sure it's not reserved. The city view from Peaks is spectacular. The bar on the first floor is good. The service is also good. The rooms are what you'd expect. Modern, clean and the standard size. Easy to get anywhere downtown and across the street from the convention center.

I was there for a professional event. Sometimes, in between sessions, it is necessary to send an email or work on a shared, cloud-based document. The lack of WiFi made this impossible. WiFi aside, the staff were lovely and the facility was very clean and well laid out.

Nice hotel, however, my room did not look clean when I arrived (found long hair strand in the bed sheets and hair on the shower walls). Hopefully a fluke experience. I would give this hotel another chance in the future.

Perfect experience. We came to the hotel early just to check in and see if we could store or bags. Very nice young man at the desk. Took care of us efficiently. Very polite
We planned to go into town. Had not even left the lobby when they called to say we had a room. Will stay here whenever we are in Denver. Thank you so much

Great Regency Club level room, with perk of the club lounge which provides continental breakfast, midday snacks and evening hor devours. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Self parked as an overnight guest, easy key dropoff when exiting.

Here for a Conference. Comfy beds, nice shower. Had an issue with card charges but got it straightened out pretty quickly. Front Desk staff nice. Starbucks needs to do some training for some staff like not knowing how to correctly make cappuccino and how to be friendly. However, the staff working Saturday morning was great!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities such as an indoor pool and an outside hot tub make this place really nice. The location of being close to the 16th Street Mall is also great.

Attended a conference here. I'm used to bad conference food but they set a new low. And as someone involved in organization of the conference, unknown what we paid. That made it even more insulting.

Also, not enough power outlets in commerce facilities. Not even close.
