Very rude, super unprofessional. Got seated for breakfast by 1030, no service until 1055, and by the time we got to the buffet there was hardly any food left so I had just bacon for breakfast. Check-out was not friendly, not accommodating. Will not be back. Only giving 2 stars because room was clean and beds we're comfortable, but the walls were also very thin. Definitely a party hotel. Don't come here to relax!

Beautiful hotel with an extensive selection of pool areas to choose from. The staff was friendly and attentive, delivering a truly relaxing experience. The conference food and amenities were excellent. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the high cost of basics (coffee and croissant were over $10, a can of Miller lite was $7). It's been awhile since I've seen a hotel gouge on the basics.

Beautiful resort with spacious rooms and wonderful amenities. There is a boardwalk down to the water, a lazy river and numerous pools. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing.

We're here for a second visit. First time was earlier this great in March. Enjoy it so much we just had to come back! The Lazy River is so awesome, the Pools and Spa is delightful and warm as well. We intend on catching ther boat again to the Private Beach location too. So much to do that you really need stay for least one-week or more. We're gonna plan for a 3rd visit at the end of this year. Great place to stay for vacation!! Thank you Hyatt Regency.

Place and grounds are beautiful. Prices for food and drinks are somewhat excessive. I don t understand the charge for parking. The room charges and resort fee should cover parking. great place for kids as waterfalls were a hit with grandchildren. There was no entertainment on the weekdays for adults

Definitely One of my favorite local hotels to stay at in the area, they have a couple of really good restaurants in Tarpon Bay and Tanglewood and the amenities are fantastic. All the staff have been polite and friendly every time I have stayed here and I would definitely recommend this Hyatt if you are coming from out of town

I'm a flight attendant and this is by far one of the best resorts I've ever been to. Service is amazing, rooms are clean, private beach and water activities just top it all off! Couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

This place is may be 15 min from my house, but makes me feel 1500 miles away. Top notch. Ive had long weekends, weddings, company parties and galas, girl day in the spa (best spa by far I've experienced in the summer), brunch, lazy day in the lazy river. There are great deals on rooms in the summer that are a locals dream. Food has always been amazing, rooms are beautiful, and their events are top notch.

Pros: The grounds and view (if you pay for them) are amazing. We enjoyed the pool with our kids age 4 and 7. The candy shop was a hit with the kids. We also enjoyed the private beach option. Waitstaff around the pool was friendly and available when needed.

Cons: Housekeeping and general room upkeep is lacking. Our bathtub pipes sounded like they were going to knock through the walls, the water pressure was terrible and it took 5+ min for the water to heat up. Due to Covid, rooms are cleaned every 4 days. We had to make multiple requests to get extra towels and bedding for the sofa sleeper, and it always took a very long time. For a family of 4, the bedding and extra towels should just be provided. The bathrooms Iocated in the pool area were extremely dirty and smelled terrible. Our 4 year old was disappointed he couldn't go on the tube ride even with a grown up. I think this policy should be updated. Prices for poolside drinks were $$$$ for weak drinks. We requested dining menus and never received them. No room service due to covid.

After the year we have had this far- I decides to take a little family staycation at the Hyatt last week and we truly had a great time! Hotel was very clean- rooms clean. They wait 24hrs in-between guests. Sanitizing stations located throughout & everyone wore masks when walking around. Guests were all conscientious of each other. Family friendly property but offer adult only areas as well. Multiple pools & water slides. Lazy river. And more! Some amenities were limited during this time but mostly all available. But most of all- the STAFF was AMAZING!!! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! They were very pleasant, warm and welcoming & genuine (didn't come off as being forced). We can't wait to go back! Thank you for making our stay even more enjoying!

The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant was one of the worst experiences in recent memory. We took our young kids 2,4,6 to dinner and ordered immediately their food and appetizer. One hour later after repeated comments the chicken tenders and banana slices came out. 15 minutes later the appetizer luke warm. Then 10 minutes later my other child's macaroni and cheese came without the cheese. I ended up leaving with my kids before my entree came at around 1 hour and 30 minutes. They did not charge us which was at least something since the restaurant was 25% full.
I have no idea why it was so bad. This place charges 500 dollars a night for a room. Ridiculous.

Really fun hotel to stay in. The water park with slides and lazy river is a lot of fun. Great food at the restaurants. Nice coffee and ice cream shop in the lobby. It really has everything you need and you don't have to leave the site. Price seems high when they add in the resort fee; but, still a fun place to stay.

My wife and I love staying here. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms are second to none. Additionally, the pools and amenities are wonderful. I would recommend to friends and family.

Nice hotel just off the coast. Note that there is no real beach access. That said, the hotel is beautiful, and the pool area is fantastic. Several pools, waterslides, etc. Also a nice area for ping pong or bags.

Our family takes a long road trip through Florida each summer! This is our favorite detour on our way to the Keys! Facility is amazing, staff is friendly, rooms always impeccable! Kids love the pool & there's a separate adult pool for peace & quiet! Take the boat to the private beach! Never disappointed & I'm picky or "high maintenance" as my husband would say!

Unlike other resort where you spend 10 min walking from your room to your car, this resort has an underground self parking lot with direct access to the hotel elevator to the guest rooms , making getting in and out of resort much easier.

We checked in at 2 a.m. and the smell of the floors being polished was overwhelming. Absolutely nothing was open. We were provided snacks (chips and candy) but were not allowed a free glass of champagne because it was after 2.

Impressive Lobby and hotel and very well manicured grounds with various pools, fountains, water slides and jacuzzis. All of these close at dusk. My kingdom for a hotel that has a pool open late at night!

The room is large and mine had a view to the north. I did not have a balcony but you could open the sliding glass door and there was a railing. I had a comfortable king size bed with ample Outlets bedside and a small writing desk with adequate lighting. There was a very large flat screen TV on the wall and nice artwork. I was especially impressed with the ceiling fan in the room. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel room with a ceiling fan.

The bathroom was large with two sinks and a nice bathtub and shower. The water pressure was very nice.

I don't understand the situation on the restaurants but only the Quick Serve restaurant seemed to be open at lunch time. There is a snack restaurant out by the pool that was closed at dinner time. There is absolutely nothing in walking distance as far as other restaurants or shops.

The fitness center is pretty adequate with a separate room of cardio machines and a decent amount of weights. There is a decent-sized locker room with showers as well. I do not believe that the fitness center is open 24 hours because access was through the spa gift shop.

They have a boat that will take you to a private island with a beach but due to rain they canceled this service on the day that I was here. The last shuttle to the beach seems to have been at 2:45. I found this quite disappointing as I do not like to be in the Sun and really only wanted to be on the beach just prior to Sunset.

While it's a very nice Resort Hotel I'm not quite sure what the point is. Unless you just want to get away from everything with your kids and do a lot of swimming or day trips from this hotel there's really nothing else here.

On the 8th floor around 8 p.m. a family on my floor decided to take their party into the hallway which included their barking dog and excitable kids. This is a popular Hotel for children because of the water slides, pools and lazy river.

The woman who checked us in, Karen, was extremely friendly and apologetic that she couldn't give us our free glass of champagne. I didn't really have any interactions with other staff while I was here.

It was a great Hotel for 30 hours but I don't think I'd want to be here much longer.

We came here for a short honeymoon weekend and were delighted to bring our 2 small dogs. The hotel is beautiful, the service is top notch. Great amenities. The view from our 7th floor suite was amazing. No complaints.

We stayed at the sister property next door, but came over for the water park and to grab lunch. Really beautiful place with amazing pools and water slides. Great little resort. The lunch at the pool was also really good! We will definitely be back!

Fancy, lots of families, good staff. I would never pay 479/night for this but wife had corporate event here. Atmosphere is good, nice pools and slides. We did get a bedsheet with a blood stain on it and room service took our wash clothes without replacing. Food is overpriced, especially in Cool Beans. Best value there is definitely the vegan salad. I wish they had bicycles available. Could use more adult fun activities.

Was disappointed that it wasnt on a beach last boat comes back at 5pm so no sunset on the beach. They dont explain things very well with how to do the activitys. They also need more elevator took 10mins to get a elevator to get off 10th floor they where always full on the weekend. Only reason I am giving 3 stars in the pools are very nice.

Was beautiful BUT no room service so had to Uber Eat for food past 10... and bed was outdated for the price and caliber of the rest of the resort/room. Amenities were on point and beautiful

Our family LOVES coming here! One of our favorite places. The slides and lazy river is a blast. We stay here often but I have to say this time was definitely our favorite Neil went above and beyond for us his professionalism and customer service we will not forget!

The grounds and amenities at this hotel are nice. It seems it would be an amazing place for a wedding. Waterslides are cool too.
However, the room itself was very disappointing. A deep clean was certainly needed. In addition the furniture was heavily worn and the bathroom shower was more in line with what you might find at a Days Inn.
Once fees are added it's around $800/night for just a regular room at this hotel. I would expect a much nicer room for that amount of money.

Sadly disappointed! My family and I often come for a couple of days from Sarasota and usually thoroughly enjoy our visit. Not this time!
We arrived in the afternoon on 5/23 and stayed until 5/25.
We opened the door to room 1014, where at first glance everything looked normal.
Once we got the kids settled, I noticed that the toilet paper dispenser was half torn out of the wall, one of the wall butterfly s were ripped out of the wall and lastly, the shower faucet was rusted and there was a constant drip. I took pictures and video.
When we mentioned something to the front desk, we were told what would you like us to do? Really! I think when paying as much as they charge for their rooms, our room would be more presentable. We ve stayed at nicer Best Westerns (referring to the room only). Unacceptable for the Hyatt. I ve seen other reviews stating similar and their only response is we hope you come back . Not acceptable!
I think this will be our last time attending this resort and will find another to escape to - we ll give someone else our money!

This resort is a gorgeous property that definitely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful rooms with great views. A choice of pools with water slides and a lazy river. Attentive service for ordering drinks as well as a poolside restaurant serving delicious sandwiches, etc. Also, took the boat to the private beach which had chairs and umbrellas provided. Enjoyed a lovely dinner at the seafood restaurant, Tarpon Bay.

Although very luxurious, we had many issues. Pets are allowed in the rooms for a fee of course. Our room was next door to a room with a small dog. The dog was constantly barking (not what you want to hear for a getaway). The climbing wall was closed. Very expensive to eat breakfast in the hotel. At the end of the stay, we were charge a daily "resort fee" of $22. The fee is in addition to the nightly stay rate that already paid. Fee should be incorporated into the room or they should inform there customers of the addition expense associated with the room at the time of booking.
