The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort is a beautiful hotel/resort. I had the pleasure of getting married here on 12/20 and my wife and I could not have been happier or had a better experience. The hospitality and friendliness of the entire staff here was extraordinary, the food was amazing, and we are so grateful that we got to work with Kelsey Stirzel as our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process (months of planning, the week of, etc) and she took the time to meet with us and get to know us (and our preferences) and she planned everything throughout the entire 3 days perfectly. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience with her and with the entire staff at the resort and it could not have gone any more flawlessly. Thank you so much staff of the Coconut Point Resort and especially thank you Kelsey! We will never forget our incredible stay with you.

Grounds and hotel are fabulous. Pool is amazing with two waterside and a lazy river. Entire staff is friendly and nice. Rooms are comfortable, clean and updated with fantastic views and balconies.
I recently stayed at this property, last week, and I commend the staff for a job phenomenally done, considering all the COVID-19 impacts. Once I booked the reservation, I called periodically, to check the status of the property, and during each call, I was well informed by the staff, which gave me the reassurance I needed to see the trip through. Upon check-in, we were even more secure with our decision. The check-in practices that were implemented were executed masterfully, and from that moment, we saw these practices executed consistently, property-wide. This property could establish a Best Practices Model for the Hyatt brand, as well as for other hotels -- That's how impressed I was at the staff's care and execution to ensure their safety, and that of their guests.
The F&B offerings at this property are AMAZING, and the quality is top-notch! If I were a local, I would come to the property just to dine. We had dinner at the Tanglewood and Tarpoon Bay, during our stay, and the food quality, as well as the service, was spectacular -- Really good menu choices and great tasting, delicious food! Breakfast was phenomenal each day as well. Also the grab and go options from the Coffee Bean -- As delicious! This resort is one that you don't even need to leave...Everything here is just phenomenal! If I come back, I don't think I even need to rent a car, like I did this time. I'd be perfectly happy dining 100% on-property. Kudos to your culinary and F&B team!
The pools and outdoor space and amenities -- Phenomenal! Also, the boat-ride to the private beach is amazing, and you can totally social distance at the beach; it's not overcrowded at all! Perfect vacation!
Last, but certainly not least in this climate we're currently living in, when I travel to new places, I always wonder and ask, just to check the temperature on this issue, so I will share the following with you: This IS an African-American friendly (and welcoming) resort and area. We ventured out, and everywhere we went was great and friendly. No race issues. Super kind and welcoming city/area.
I highly recommend this resort, as well as the Bonita Springs/Coconut Point/Ft. Meyers area(s).
We had a great time here, it completely exceeded our expectations. We took our kids and there were endless (easy and fun) options for entertainment and relaxation. Very pleased.
Exceptional Service...after a rental car company left us high and dry the Hyatt bent over backwards to resolve the issue. The facilities are very beautiful and there are plenty of activities for the whole family. The restaurants serve some of the best food around. We would definitely stay again.
Great hotel, short distance from RSW airport in Ft Myers. Very nice pool decks, water slide, amenities and more. Stayed here for recent business meeting with large group. Food was some of the best I've had at these large events. Staff did a wonderful job of service. Marina access and day trips available to nearby Lovers Key State Park.
Wonderful resort, great staff, beautiful pools and grounds, fishing tours available and dock is walking distance. Loved it there. The 100th Railway Tie Association Convention held there two weeks ago. Wonderful experience.
One of the best place to be with kids. Pools are awesome, ferry ride to the private island and watching dolphins is really exciting. Not to mention the sea shell haul that keeps the memories of good time alive for a very long time
Great hotel grounds! The landscaping and pools are expansive and beautiful. There are multiple waterslides and a nice lazy river. I have never seen this many waterslides at a hotel. Very nice hotel/resort.
We spend our vacation there for years. The area is really nice. The breakfast is top class. Lazy River really great. All the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the nice 2 weeks in the year.
I have lived in this area for 35 + years Since the hyatt has opened I have enjoyed taking my grandkids there for alittle get away several times a year This weekend was a special time it was my grandsons birthday so myself and family and friends wanted to celebrate his weekend at the Hyatt This weekend we were treated extremely disrespected and was not a great experience as it has been in the past I dont know if we will go back that's how bad it was Everyone that was with us and we all were guest of the hotel are business owners in Estero Bonita Springs area so word will travel
We went for brunch. The buffet was great, the entrees were just ok... For $50 a person for brunch you'd expect some better service but it was quite bad. I'd go again in hopes of having a better server, but if it didn't improve I'd definitely not go back.
We enjoyed the stay here. Super relaxed setting with a private beach. The lazy river was great. The only down side is the trees make it really shady so no tans on the river. We even took a turn on the slides. The food and drinks are priced as resorts are, pricey, but you are close to many restaurants and grocery stores to load up on snacks. The private beach is chill and filled with lots of shells. We had fun looking for sand dollars. Bring water shoes and bug spray. We got eaten by No See'um bugs waiting on the ferry to take us over. We had dinner at the hotel the last night. That with a nice walk around the resort afterwards was the perfect end to a lovely vacation.
They were "pet friendly" when they took my $150.00 pet fee. The "dog walk" is a patch of grass as close to not on their property as possible. My 4 lb Shih Tzu is not allowed on their grounds! If you hate dogs & love noisy kid's, this place is for you!
I was down for Southeastern Conference Women's Retreat and it was awesome! The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort was cool beams! I want to go back very soon!
Absolutely beautiful resort. Loved their lazy river and the private beach my wife and I had spent time at. Purely stunning. We loved being able to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Stunning resort. The new Lazy River Pool is awesome for children and adult alike. The multiple high water slides are the highest I have ever seen at a resort, with lower slides for those that are height weary...
Very nice atmosphere, however do not leave anything behind!!! It will be gone and the managers give you the run around. Left a message for Trent (head of housekeeping) and no response! Spoke with 2 other managers who promised to look into it and call me back.....still waiting!
Was here for about a week for a special event and had an enjoyable experience at this resort. I took advantage of almost all the fine amenities there such as the nice pool spots to dine, the spa and kayaking/dolphin watching. This hotel felt a bit too small I felt, but that's not my main point of this review. My only gripe about the location of this place is that outside of the hotel, there is not much to do in the area.
Great place to family or Adults....Lazy river....toddler slide...1 slide 42 inch height requirement....3 slides 49 inch height requirement. Lots to do.....Firepits at night...buy smores pack and make some smores at the pit. So much more....
The hotel is beautiful. While there's not much to do in Bonita Springs, the hotel is close enough some really cool eating spots and interesting bar venues. The staff were very friendly and hotel room service was great.
Really nice hotel to stay in. There are multiple swimming pools and a lazy river. They even have a free boat ride to a private island. If you stay in Bonita Springs this is the place!
Oh boy what an incredible experience we had at Hyatt! Thank you for your hospitality! You have everything you need here and don t need to leave! We loved the lazy river, took the boat over to the beach, had the buffet at Tanglewood, sat by the fire pit and I could go on and on! We ll be back Hyatt! Until we see you again, be well!
Very friendly place to visit. Beautiful property with an amazing Golf Course and they provide little reason to leave with the wonderful restaurants and Cafe on site.
During check in, a guest of the hotel allowed their dog to pee all over my wife's suitcase, while we were waiting to check in. It saturated her clothes inside the suitcase with urine. Ruined her brand new $400 suitcase.
The hotel staff, although polite and apologetic, did not seem to care. They "attempted" to contact the gust to resolve it, with no response after 24 hours.
After a day of no response, I asked them to call the guests room, to have the issue resolved. They refused to do so.
I spend over 100 days a year in Hyatt Hotels around the world. Last time I ever stay at a Hyatt.
I have had an excellent stay here so far! All the staff has been very friendly. We we greeted with mimosas upon check in, and they have nightly turn down service. Everything is very clean, and there are a lot of thoughtful touches in the rooms. Room service food could be better, but overall a lovely place.
Check in staff is rude but the cleaning and hospitality service is very kind.
Do me a favor, take a paper towel or towel wet it alil bit and wipe the floor and common areas, it is abhorrent. You will notice the towel is black from dirt. Just offensive. At $500 a night you would expect 5* cleaning. Everything is an upcharge or a nuisance. Customer service does not go the extra mile. I won't be returning. I scrubbed down the floors myself.
The hotel rooms need an upgrade asap! I will return with gross pics.
This is one of my favorite Hyatt properties. Great customer service from the front door, to check in, to the Regency Club. The people at the spa would be my only complaint. They seem to always want to close early, but the hotel and the rest of the staff really make up for their lack luster service. Pools are great and one of the best fitness centers for a hotel.
Extremely beautiful! We had a corner suite, which gave us 3, yes 3, balconies in our suite. We had a balcony off of our bathroom! The TV was as big as my TV stand, in my house. There were 5 water slides, and for those who don't want a lot if noise while laying out by the pool, there is also an "adult pool" and Jacuzzi. It is definitely a 5 star hotel!
Friendly staff. Overall great service. The room service selections are not strong. Housekeeping did not empty our trash one day but otherwise did a great job.
Watch out for sneaky $30 per day resort fees. Over all it's a nice place with pools and lazy river but food & drinks are way over priced. Room was not sound proof and water stains on ceiling... they give you 2 free complementary bottles of water so that counts for something right.
Absolutely amazing, you will feel like you discovered an incredible place. Fantastic views, ammenidies, and customer service. Tarpoon bay and the food truck in the water park are very good food options. The views of the surrounding water ways are astonishing.
This is truly a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly. The accommodations are top-notch. It is tucked away far enough to wear I felt that we were nearly by ourselves. They have shuttles to take you to play golf. It is on the Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets are fantastic. Overall I highly recommend this Hotel. It is close to shopping. You two will be very satisfied with this facility.
Nice resort in Fort Myers. Little bit of a drive from the airport but once there you will be glad for it. Stupendous entry way with small shops throughout. Awesome pool area and nice restaurant. Extra friendly staff and a glass of champagne for you when you check in. In case the pool isn't enough, there is a boat service to take you to a private beach that runs every 30 minutes. Book it early as it can fill up fast. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the resort next time.
My reviews are based on customer service, product, and experience.
Parking is free and valet is offered. Upon arrival you are treated with respect and great service. The environment is peaceful, clean and tranquil. We visit here for date nights often. You don't have to be a guest here to eat at the restaurants. Their staff is cultured and accommodating. Our favorite dish is the snapper divers spear at their Tarpon Bay restaurant. We also tried the lamb chops appetizers which was flavorful. Chef Gaston and Ceviche Attendant Jovy will make your food and dining experience a treat. Our experience here was wonderful. We also attended for a reception and our stay was wonderful. Rooms clean and service exceptional. Hyatt is our favorite go to mini vacay.
