This is like my favorite place in the whole country I love this place so much there's so much to do there 500 acres of adventure and it's all yours if you can just land yourself a spot there there is something to do all day every day on different days there's always different stuff they have fire pits at night time to sit around and talk stories or catch up and show love to everyone you with and everyone around use just a good place to reinvent yourself

Awesome quaint get away tucked on the banks of the Colorado River.

Off-season you have the run of the place. Friendly staff, bar and food service was great in all the restaurants, and the activities and amenities were great.

We decided to go for a couple days get away. We upgraded to a room with a patio. We got checked in the room with the patio - it overlooks the street with lots of noise. We went back right away and they changed it to a room with a balcony. Still charged us for the upgraded room.
So the room they moved us too - rock hard beds. Before the second night I asked housekeeping for 5 pillows. Put them on top of the mattress & it was tolerable. I do have a bad back but my husband said it was very firm & he has no back issues.
Obviously doing major construction because we heard drills & pounding all day. With 490 rooms you'd think they could alternate construction or maybe not put us 3 doors down
Also the website talks about all the restaurants - WRONG. They close them off for private parties or they have "seasonal hours"
Another website myth - activities - WRONG. Ask them to send you the monthly calendar if this is something you're basing your vacation on. They only had 2 when we were there & one was the marshmallow roast.
Finally the pool & hot tub for the spa is down right nasty. Dirt & leaves all in it. They were also doing construction there.
The Location is amazing & the massage therapist Christine was the only saving grace.
You couldn't pay me to go back here.

We love this place and been coming here from Houston since 2010. Sunday brunch is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. Kids can watch two long horns outside, the trail is very nice, horse riding nearby. Price is ok considering service offered. Vallet is $15

Great atmosphere! Out in middle of no where so your usually eating at their restaurants. The place and restaurants are very pricey! There was 6 extra charges for every night if room charge. Room, tax, tax, tax, resort fee then tax on that and parking fee. Nice place but be prepared to pay big.

Spent my One-year anniversary with my wife and absolutely LOVED it! Very secluded and quiet, and the resort sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on the anniversary date. They offered complimentary Smores packets to all guests to accompany the fire pit outside. They had free daily activities and additional resort activities (for a fee) for horseback riding and zip lining. The room was nice and clean; the bed/bedding was soft and clean. The restaurants were amazing. Will definitely return.

The lazy river and multiple pool decks are nice, but for the price, I expect exceptional service, clean facilities and well-appointed rooms. We went using a "special discount" room cost of $240 per night, but with a simple dinner of pasta and 2 burgers for $87 (no alcohol) and lots of taxes, we ended up with a$400 bill. Our experience: We had to search for waiters at the pool, the bathroom was filthy, the shower leaked, and the rooms had towels you would find at a La Quinta. The wait and cleaning staff inside the hotel were very gracious but the pool was understaffed and disorganized. When I called a week prior to arriving, the staff who answered the phone sounded bothered that I called to ask if I could get a room that allowed dogs.
This place is not worth what they charge.

Great place for any event. We went for a girls weekend and I will return with the family. You can't beat the lazy river, and the adult pool options were secluded and relaxing. Great trees and getaway nooks.

We here at Say Cheese Photo Booths love working with the folks at Hyatt Lost Pines! They take great care of their guests and are easy to work with as a vendor. Plus, it's just a great venue to have an event. :-)

Service is good. Ambiance is nice for a country get away. Room was not vacuumed prior to check in. Food from fine dining offered no seasoning and barely done. Overall did not enjoy the place.

I love the restaurants here. The buffet can be quite enjoyable, and the more upscale restaurant upstairs is a great place for a date night. the hotel itself is set in the pine forest, and is both comfortable and beautiful. There is a tremendous assortment of things to do there, including archery, outdoor movies, golf, and an amazing swimming pool (with bar). The hotel caters heavily to families with kids, but it is still a great destination for a couple. They have wonderful facilities for meetings and conferences.

We had a great stay! Brought our under 2 year old. We took turns enjoying the spa. he loves the playground, basketball court, and bikes. They have bikes of every size. On the weekends the pool is heated so bring your suit! The food is pricy on the resort but we did go into down for dinner a couple of nights. On the weekends kids under 5 eat free on the breakfast buffet. The spa is wonderful! Don t let the price scare you. You also get to enjoy the sauna, showers, and private pool. There are activities for older kids. If your kids are potty trained there are more options. We will defiantly come back once he is older.

This is an absolutely beautiful place! We performed for a wedding this past weekend. We started the ceremony music by the river and continued into the Cocktail Hour in the pavilion. Afterward, we led the wedding guest into the ballroom. The staff was incredible!

Quiet retreat. I was unfortunately here only 2 nights for a conference. The bathroom and room decor is a bit tired but I understand they are planning a refurb. Conference facilities were good though layout a bit confusing at times. Staff friendly and helpful. Ate in the casual bar... food tasty but my pasta with chicken, asparagus, mushroom and peppers had very little veggies... like 2 mushrooms and a few tiny bits of asparagus ... and not cheap. Chicken was great though tender and well seasoned. Checked out the pool and grounds and it looks like a great place for a family getaway. They have a cute farm area with a pig, goats, long horns and horses. Pesceful gardens are designed to attract butterflies and hummers and I saw several hummers taking advantage. Golf course looks lovely and there was no one on it on Sunday afternoon in Sept!

We ve been coming here for 3 years now and normally love it. Something has changed this year in terms of quality level, primarily with the staff. The last 2 years the level of professionalism and hospitality was unbelievable. This year it s like they have hired a completely new staff. No one seems to know anything when you ask questions. I had staff either tell me they didn t know where parts of the property are or told me incorrect locations leading to a very long hike around the property to try to find an activity. We used to love the breakfast but this year not nearly as nice. The valet upon coming to our car said how overworked he was and was having a friend that wasn t a hotel employee help park cars. Last year we actually had a welcome basket with little toys for the kids, this year there weren t enough pillows for everyone and the lamps had different colors of bulbs (some extra soft white, some bright white - maybe a small thing but a personal pet peeve). The small refrigerator we have in our room doesn t keep things cold, even after we had them bring a new one. We reserved a lounger only to find out it was double booked and we were moved to a close by one. The pool is not chilled this year like it has been in years past and became very warm later in the day. And we brought our kids bikes this year only to have one stolen. Not nearly the quality Lost Pines has been the last 2 years we have come.

Rooms are older. The pictures dont truly represent what the resort looks like. I ended up with food poisoning and was sick for 2 days. The hotel charged me 3 times for the single order of room service.

Nice, scenic, and peaceful location. Rooms are a bit pricey for being somewhat average. But I m sure those costs go into the beautiful grounds, accommodations, and friendly staff. Great golf course at Wolfdancer btw. A good test.. so keep it in the fairway.

We were at the Lost Pines Hyatt for the NYE festival with our family of 6. During the event, my kids had their faces painted by Doodlebug the Clown (Betsy & Janet Janis) and they were incredible. We had an amazing time and my kids were thrilled with their face paintings
