Try to get a renovated room, they're nice. Go to the spa area, it's included in the resort fee. There's a sauna, steam room and quiet pool with complimentary drinks, just ask desk staff. Steak salad was tasty from the restaurant, just a little over seasoned.

Stayed here for a wedding. Pretty fun place and very kid friendly. A bit overpriced during peak season. Parking is not included which I thought was odd considering how expensive the room rates are. Food is pretty pricey if you only eat on site and the nearest large town is about 15 minutes away.

My mother in law and I got gift certificates to come to the Spa and it was amazing! We had Colorado hot stone massages and mani-pedis... My masseuse was Allison and she was incredible I absolutely loved her! All of our ladies were amazing and super sweet... We are definitely coming back any chance we get!!

Great family environment and the staff is very helpful along with being professional. We went during this covid-19 ordeal & they have sanitizing stations all through the resort. The occupancy played a major factor in our decision to stay there as it was only at 25-30%

Room was way oversold. Paid 400+ for a room that was told had a nice patio. Patio turned into 2 chairs right next to neighbors on both side for 100 feet each way. Food was extremely marginal. Probably great place for kids, not for couples.

Stunning hotel with well cared for water park. Lots of amenities available to hotel guests. Incredible location in the Lost Pines. The Loblolly pines surrounding the property are beautiful. I enjoyed my visit. Food is a tad expensive, but staff was nice and was generous. Had a great time.

I haven't actually stayed here as a hotel guest, but have been to a few different professional events held in their meeting space. This is truly a gorgeous location, with excellent facilities.

Great atmosphere and a plethora of activities for all family members to enjoy. The $15/day self parking fee is a bit greedy, especially since it s not exactly a quick walk back to the lobby.

Had to do a photo shoot there over the week end, I had not idea what an out stand place this is. The staff get an A++ from me, help full in every way possible. Thank you for your hospitality.

We plan a Christmas trip here every year and it's always a great stay. They have plenty of activities for the kids and a great spa for the adults .The grounds are beautiful and we'll kept, a good round of golf can be had also with wonderful rolling hills.

A very nice resort nestled among the hills of central Texas. Good efficient staff, but at times are a bit too brusque. Restaurants serve reasonably good food and there seem to always be fun activities happening.

My wife and I love the Hyatt Lost Pines! We frequent the downstairs restaurant and bar, best Mexican Martinis in Austin Area. The food is really good as well! We have stayed as guests overnight too and the staff is very nice and accommodating. We love Spa Django as well!

Location: Easily accessible from Austin, Houston or Dallas (a reasonable drive for any Texan). Setting: Completely a world apart. Beauty in the lost pines of Texas with activities such as horse trail rides, kayaking on the Colorado, golf on a truly immersive course and much more. A great place to spend a day or a week if you've got the budget.

Beautiful peaceful location. Horse rides, running and hiking trails. WolfDancer Golf Course. Spa on property. Wonderful staff, attentive to your needs and requests. Multiple restaurants on property. Great for family or a romantic getaway. Kids pool and adult pools.

Good but not grate experience here. They got nice pool! But the room was old and outdated. The front desk staff that I meet was rude. The adjacent restaurant Firewheel Cafe got flies everywhere. Questionable hygiene sutation.

The resort was very nice and clean. There are many activities to do on the resort. There is a golf course, hiking trails, and a lazy river to mention a few. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There are 3 restaurants on the resort but a bit pricey. I would recommend if anyone wants a weekend getaway.

Stay overall was great! Room was clean and room service did a good job. Lots of activities for kids to do, very family friendly. Stories, the restaurant inside the hotel, had very good servers. Food is expensive but it's pretty much worth the amount of food you receive and the great treatment from the waiting staff.
Only improvements I could ask for is a cleaner pool (think storms from hurricane Harvey affected cleanliness of the pool), there was a weird smell in the lobby and downstairs area while we were here (sewage?), need better circulation in the work out room, and longhorn wrangler was not very friendly.
Thanks for the great stay! It was fun to celebrate an anniverary.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is one of my favorite Austin-area hotels and resorts I have been to! I stayed at this location for a conference, and was blown away by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, the variety of activities provided, and the incredibly amazing food. I plan on making this a place to relax again soon!

Beautiful place to visit. We had lunch at one of their many restaurants. The grass fed burger had great taste along with the parmesan herb fries... Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.

Very relaxing, nice rooms, good food and drinks. And for EV owners there are 4 (30 amp) chargers, was able to get 4hours complimentary with my stay which covered the drive to and from.

Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. Plenty of amenities and downtown Bastrop is just a few minutes away with lots of cool shops. Also the Texas boot company is right up the road and worth a trip if you love boots.

After reviewing receipts, I found that we were charged $22 per adult beverage for some drinks! Talked to the bar tender on 8/19/2015 (7:00PM) at the Barrel-house bar and she pretty said I was an idiot and that this is the price. My wife and I spent over 3 hours in this place earlier in the day with our kids playing shuffleboard and the receipts are clearly different. Also, kids were allowed to drag chairs in the pool and leave them for others to get caught up in.

Staff is friendly, but the majority are 18 or less and their attitudes match. You'll be happy as long as you don't point anything out!

Read the almost automated replies below by management.... We travel all over the world with our kids and I assure you this will be our last visit to this overpriced, fluffed up wannabe resort.

The property is amazing, there is a great golf course, animals, pool, 3 places to eat and tons of activities for kids. The staff are very friendly and work hard to make it a fun stay for the whole family. Also its about 15-20 from downtown austin.
